TypePad is great if you are a very serious blogger. I only used the 14-day free trial but really liked what I saw. It is easy to use and understand from the beginning. It seems to be aimed to include those who aren't as tech savvy and they definitely deliver on that. I decided to stop using it after the 14 day trial just because the price just wasn't in my budget at the time. It was also just a little too simplistic for my taste.
  • Great support
  • Many themes you can choose from
  • Very easy to use from the beginning
  • Some themes appear very outdated.
  • Limited options for backup
  • Lack of flexibility for advanced users
TypePad is great for serious bloggers who aren't very tech savvy, but advanced users may become fed up with the simplicity.
