Frequently Asked Questions

Uberflip is a content marketing platform from the Toronto company of the same name. Central to Uberflip is its content hub for aggregating, centralizing, organizing, and finally curating content for delivery to targeted audiences in streams, culminating in the call-to-action (CTA). Uberflip also contains analytics that show how effective these CTAs are (and in what context they are effective or not) so poor content can be confidently dropped in favor of what works. For $200 monthly the user gets Essential edition, containing the hub, three custom content streams, the Flipbooks feature for twenty PDF files (basically to organize the files and publish them in a more interesting, interactive format), three calls-to-action, and access for one team member. For $600 and $1800 (or $500 and $1500 if billed annually), the Expert and Elite plans, respectively, increase the volume of all of these, permit gated content, automation and advanced behaviors, more advanced analytics, support, and advanced customization for larger content marketing teams.

Great platform to make custom landing pages for sales/marketing (if you take the time to set it up properly ...)

We use Uberflip just within our marketing and sales org. We're currently only using it to create marketing hubs and sales streams, with the goal to one day have it replace our existing resource center.
  • Allows reps to easily create custom pages for prospects.
  • Allows segment marketers to create custom landing pages for campaigns.
  • Keeps users on our domain and consuming our content.
Cons
  • Better UI / UX. I can't tell you the number of times people have come to me not being able to figure out how to do something.
  • No ability to enter custom code for hub header/footers. We must ask their support team to do it, and it takes 1+ month.
  • We have little control over how the hub items themselves appear.
I think Uberflip would be great for any team who needed to create custom landing pages on the fly. I think the value is so much greater if you use it as your resource center for your entire website.

Great product with a strong roadmap and robust feature set

We use Uberflip to create personalized experiences at scale. We untangled a messy mix of TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU content and consolidated it all in a destination that creates two distinct experiences that benefit our business: Personalisation for web traffic and recommendations based on groupings we can dynamically update and tweak based on our knowledge of our audience Surfacing content to sellers and providing the ability to create personalized streams leveraging our vast library of content
  • Content tagging is easy and powerful
  • Sales streams are constantly being improved and iterated on
  • The AI recommendations drive engagement
  • Analytics is continually improved, creating one of the best content analytics I've ever seen
Cons
  • The OnBrand process is slow. The team is great, but the backlog slows down iteration.
  • New product features aren't communicated particularly well.
Managing content for both website visitors and sellers Giving sellers the opportunity to personalize streams at scale Integrating with 6sense, MAP, or CRMs Analytics and reporting on content performance Making unique destinations by pain point, solution, or industry Transforming content experiences and being at the cutting edge of content experience

Step up your content experiences with Uberflip

We use Uberflip in a variety of ways. From powering our resource center to content promotion within our marketing webpages to nurture streams, Uberflip allows us to deliver the right content to the right user at the right time. Uberflip has allowed us to scale our consumer content journeys across our website.
  • Easy to upload and manage content.
  • Easy to create curated landing zones for business use cases.
  • Customer support is fast to respond and very knowledge.
  • Great onboarding support from implementation team.
Cons
  • Analytics is a bit hard to navigate and is slow compared to other tools.
  • Customizing design requires onBrand support which has long turnaround times.
  • While usually brief there are occasional downtimes that result in content being inaccessible.
Uberflip is well suited for businesses looking to up-level their content journey throughout their website. It is easy to use and requires little technical skill (great to save on internal web developer time). There are abundant integrations to help connect your full martech stack.

Uberflip is an amazing platform with an amazing customer support team.

Uberflip is used by the marketing content team to publish blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and more. It's been extremely useful and allows us to publish the content quickly and easily, without bothering the web development team or requiring our marketers to have coding skills. It has also been a great tool for easily organizing content and putting it into categories that make sense for our users.
  • Custom content streams for specific audiences allows us to segment content by audience, by content type, and by product.
  • Integration with Marketo is great, since it shows us who is consuming our content and how that is impacting their journey.
  • With Flipbooks, you can see how long people are staying on each page and how many pages they are reading, which is not something you can typically measure with a PDF.
  • The editor in the platform is super easy to use and allows you to update content very quickly.
Cons
  • The forms on the CTAs are very small, and I don't love that they show only one field until you click into it. This seems deceptive when you must actually fill out four or five fields to access the content.
  • Image management inside the platform isn't great, so I end up loading multiple of the same image versus searching through the library.
  • When you update the main navigation or footer on your main website, you must work with their developers to update it within the hub, rather than having your internal team handle it.
Uberflip is great if you have a lot of content and need to have the marketing team access it quickly. It does what it set out to do super well, and I really love that support is available at all times for any and all questions. There may be some organizations that are concerned about the SEO implications of using a subdomain, so that is the one thing I would recommend checking for implementing Uberflip.

Uberflip is fun and easy to use

We use Uberflip to convert our monthly or quarterly publications from PDF to flipbooks. We wanted to do away with distributing our publications as PDFs because some were forwarding the PDFs to others in or out of their organization and that was a copyright issue.
  • It's easy to set up and manage your account, and the overall conversion and production from PDF to a flipbook is easy. If you make a mistake, it's also easy to fix by doing a simple page replacement.
  • We set up a single sign on API so that when our subscribers logon to access the flipbook publications from our website, they just logon one time from our website rather than logging on twice to access the publication.
  • The Uberflip customer support and sales team are very pleasant, responsive and easy to work with which is why we chose them as our vendor.
  • Their new hub is easy to configure. An uberflip rep reached out to me to set it up during it's early release. I liked that extra hand holding, and she showed me other features as well.
  • I like their new hub, and it's nice that we don't have to pay extra for it.
Cons
  • The only thing I don't like is that you can lose a license if you have to make a whole PDF replacement. Things happen on our end and it would be nice not to have to lose a license.
Who are your competitors and how does your product compare to others?
How long does the initial set up take?
How long will the production process take from converting a PDF to a flipbook and adding special features?
Can you access your files if you end your contract with them and are there any charges to access to your files?
