Kronos is always helpful and answers support cases in a timely matter. They have staff that are very knowledgeable with their software to help you out with any new changes or implementations that your company needs.

You have to either call in or submit a support request online and wait for a response. This is cumbersome, especially when you are in the middle of something and cannot finish because you have to wait for a return call. Then when you do get the support, and have additional questions, it is another waiting time to try to get an answer from the person who helped and then be suggested to submit a new ticket. On my most recent ticket I waited 5 days for assistance

Support is very organized, and usually very timely. But as I've mentioned, there were some kinks in getting the right information at the right time. I think things have improved on that front, but there are still key functionalities that should be available that have to be requested for enhancement.

The Kronos support staff is great! They are all very knowledgeable, are thorough when explaining or showing me how to fix something and very friendly to speak with over the phone. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because there are times when I just want to pick up the phone and ask a quick question but I have to start a case instead. The online help has been very useful because a lot of times I can find the answer to my question on my own.

I think that as a full package, Kronos is a great application. It has the products and abilities needed to properly administer payroll and keep data integrity in the HRIS. I think that when using all modules, Kronos can provide a great HRIS. The only thing that seems a bit lacking in Kronos is the recruitment module. It does not have as robust tracking abilities as other systems. I wish there was more opportunity to communicate with applicants and use the system to do all recruiting tasks.

Although we haven't needed much support with Kronos Workforce Ready since it was introduced to us back in March, the assistance we have received has been tremendously wonderful. Our questions or issues have for the most part been answered or resolved within 24 hours. Some of the issues we received support on related to meal penalties and holiday hours.

Kronos support is great in the ability for a representative to take our needs seriously and respond with care, however, there are times when the need for support was time sensitive (for payroll processing purposes) and the response rate caused us hiccups in our timeline. Our company also has many customized options to our package and company build and at times things were miscommunicated in regards to the builds - this was only in the beginning though and has since been great.

Dealing with the migration support team was the worst part of our entire experience. The project manager was not well informed, rude and many times unresponsive. His manager was also not willing to take responsibility for the lack of capabilities within the system and the contradictions between the sales process and implementation. The development team did not provide the migration team with the proper toolsets to do their jobs properly. Kronos owns both the Workforce Central product and the Workforce Ready product. It should have been a no-brainer to build a dedicated migration tool for pulling all current and historical data from WFC to WFR. The limited tools given were simple import spreadsheets with very little to no documentation to accompany them. In many cases the imported data was incorrect and had to be wiped and redone. I have very little respect for the way the internal teams within Kronos cooperate and communicate with each other.

I like the support call system. You do not need to wait minutes or hours to talk to somebody. You mention your problem, and somebody who knows that subject calls you back. They generally help you right away. They also teach how you can correct the issue next time. Sometimes they take 24 hours to call you back though.

We did not get much support when we were trying to implement. We felt like we were the only company with requirements for both Canada and the US and this seemed odd to us because North America is the most common place it was implemented. We found there was no integration with our source system so this made us have to create files so we can update members by position and make sure the right managers are in place for each group. We were not able to produce the requirements in a timely manner and we were not treated respectfully by the project manager from Kronos at the time.

I like the tracking system that documents all questions and responses. The timing of response is generally pretty good - within a day, but if there is something critical to processing a payroll that day - be ready to make executive decisions to "guess" and fix it later. So far most of our support issues have resulted in "a glitch in the program that will be escalated" or a workaround to force accurate calculations, but [support is] unable to explain why certain errors/changes occurred.

There have been several instances where we have made inquiries about additional options that were not available. Also, we have run into scenarios that were not explained to us correctly upon implementation.

I have had to contact Kronos support a few times regarding questions that I hadn't thought about during implementation. They have a website where you can search for answers to your problems, but if you can't find what you need, then you can submit a case. Usually within a couple of hours, someone that is extremely knowledgeable about your problem will call you, usually log into your computer via GoToAssist and walk you through the solution so that you understand. I have never had a bad experience with Kronos support.
