Great Product
We use the unitrends product for company-wide backup and the ability to spin up a hot server on an as needed basis. We moved to this from multiple tape backup systems, the speed is better and the ability to have a "Hot" system in case of a server failure is remarkable.

We did not compare Unitrends to another vendor. We found this and went through multiple discussions, and webinars and felt this was the unit for us. We just had to convince management to allow the money to be spent. It was pricey but worth it. I highly recommend purchasing this unit from unitrends.

I use the software as the IT manger. We backup our entire network using the unitrends product . We backup databases to end user files and anything else in-between. Unitrends allowed us to recover from a major ransomware attack with minimal down time. Unitrends is a great product for the price.

once you get the unitrends device setup to start backing up all of the equipment you want backed up then you only need to monitor the jobs to make sure there are no issues. Unitrends includes a setup person to help you walk through getting the device functional . after that just monitor the jobs

Unitrends has the best solution for making backup and recovery simple, fast, and reliable.
We use Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance for our disaster recovery plan. In times of need it has saved time and money. We use it to backup our whole environment for instance servers, file shares, Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL databases. What is really great is you don't need additional licenses to backup different applications.
- Restoring files, databases, Exchange mail items, and servers. Unitrends has done a great job making the process easy and quick.
- Configuring backup with their GUI interface is simple.
- Backups are fast and are compressed nicely.
- Backups and restore are fully customizable.
- The process of configuring backup can be complicated for new users.
