Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Have used UseBerry before, really do not like the annoying display of the success screen at the end of completion of each task, very limited options to explore while setting up a task. only good thing is we can share the test with an internal user pool which is also good.

Qualtrics is less organized when it comes to creating tests. I don't believe they have a userbase to send tests off to... I usually have to create a test and send the links off myself to a group of testers I've reached out to or advertised to myself. In that sense, it's a lot less convenient to use.

I've not evaluated other dedicated products in this domain myself but know that we went through a significant exercise internally before we selected UserTesting. I think the best comparison is with manual logistics for screening, setting up meetings and using, for example, Google Meet or Teams natively. It probably comes down to how much the time of your UX/product team is worth in terms of the tradeoff and whether it's feasible to find participants in your domain.

UserTesting has better synthesis capabilities and is more certain and reliable than Validately. As for Optimal Workshop, I think UserTesting is actually pretty comparable, but I wonder if Optimal Workshop has as many functionalities for teams in larger organizations to collaborate.

UT A-OK!

The real-time data from FullStory is great and we wish UT had a similar feature, but the ease of setting up individual tests and qualitative feedback is more important for us at this stage. We chose UT over FS when our budget forced us to drop one.

We used to use Validately when it wasn't part of UserZoom yet. A year ago, it was a decent tool but much more buggy and less intuitive than UserTesting. Also, UserTesting has a much bigger panel with more and qualitatively better testers on it. Analysis is also easier on UT.

UserTesting is much easier to use overall. If it's easier to user, it will get used more often. The ability for the testers on UserTesting to give feedback whilst they look at the content instead of afterwards like on UserZoom has given us more accurate data as well as making it an easier experience for the testers.

The offerings are the same but UserTesting distinguishes itself by obtaining faster results, having a wider reach in countries for participants, and outstanding customer service. The one area where UserZoom has that UserTesting doesn't is the multi-path questions mentioned earlier that would allow [having] a more holistic view of things we want to test.

We have evaluated two other platforms - UserZoom and UsabilityHub. We ultimately decided to maintain our relationship with UserTesting due to the overall usability and the functionality that it offers. The features better suited our needs, and it met a price point that worked for our organization.

Qualaroo integrates really nicely with our websites and allows us to recruit users in a specific moment during their session, which is very helpful. But UserTesting allows for a much more sophisticated testing experience once the user is engaged.

UserInterviews is a great service for recruiting and scheduling people for qualitative interviews and problem space interviews. It is less efficient than UserTesting for formative, usability research because you need to fit the participants into your schedule, need to take the time to interview people 1-at-a-time whereas on UserTesting you can have multiple people participating in research all at the same time.

UserTesting is very competitive with UserZoom and both are great solutions. UserTesting offers more functionality for qualitative research while UserZoom offers stronger quantitative research functionality, so the choice will boil down to which of those you have the greatest need for.

Validately was a much simpler product, perhaps more geared toward non-UX professionals. UserZoom had a very similar product but they had too many features, which made using their product more complicated. Their sales tactics were also less pleasant.
