UserTesting - great reach and quick, but some usability issues
- Positive: developing products based on feedback from a diverse set of users, which helps ensure we get it right w/out having to overhaul everything and start from scratch.
- Positive: cost savings (in terms of market research costs). I assume it's cheaper on a per participant basis using UserTesting vs. an alternative method (e.g. in person interview).

Great for "shotgun" researching multiple users all at the same time
- The speed of recruiting allows me to iteratively test and experiment with wording when necessary to get to the point where I know it is being understood which in turn improves the credibility of the research results
- We haven't yet released the software that I've been testing most of this year, so I can't comment on business impact yet

UserTesting--Great but has some limitations
- Faster feedback and allowing more iterations than we might normally have
- Allows us to make informed decisions based on user research, which hopefully will be a cost savings since we get it right the first time, but it is difficult to assign a KPI or ROI
- Allows us to run more studies than we could without it, especially the recruiting and unmoderated studies and mobile studies.
