We use it for payroll and HR management including time-off requests. The problems it solves are time off requests and the services offered are for payroll and HR Management. We thought that the amount of money being saved was worth it to attempt to switch to a new payroll provider.

Payroll tax accounts are not set up properly for the onboarding specialist. In my experience, pay dates for holidays were misrepresented and staff was not paid on time. Would like to see multiple approval levels for time off requests instead of just one person. Inn my opinion, the overall experience with the company came off as them being a bully; either you are wrong, or you are wrong. I believe they don't accept blame for the mistakes they made, including the onboarding mistakes with an individual that is no longer with them because of a history of not doing his job correctly.

If we use UZIO to process our payroll. Going between our proprietary time clock system Is and our accounting software. We've had a couple of unique challenges in the integration. Fortunately, the UZIO team was there to support us and things are working smoothly. I would highly recommend UZIO for payroll solutions whether you're an off-the-shelf or have a unique situation.

We are a benefits brokerage and a sole source provider for HR, payroll, risk management, and retirement. We use UZIO for our clients and our own company to manage the benefits and online enrollment, as well as utilizing some of the HRIS functions. This is a great resource to offer to our clients.
  • Manages benefit enrollment for new hires, status changes, and open enrollment.
  • Houses documents, where we can store company policies and employee-specific documents.
  • Offers reporting for payroll, billing, etc.
  • You are currently unable to add a international address.
  • Electronic EOI capability is not available.
  • Does not allow retirement elections to be made/added at this time.
UZIO has been a lifesaver for us as a broker and for our clients. It saves everyone time and is a very user-friendly system for all users. We have always received very positive feedback from the employee users. Eliminating the need for paper documents is a necessity in the digital world today and UZIO has made that possible.

UZIO has a much smoother/easier workflow for benefits setup and management. The system is extremely user friendly and the platform is clean and easy to read. UZIO listens to client feedback and uses that information to improve the system and make it work better for users.

We use UZIO for payroll and for tracking our HR information. We use it for onboarding, benefit selection, payroll, and PTO tracking. We moved to UZIO when we moved to a broker for our benefits and left our PEO. UZIO gave us a place to do our payroll and track some HR processes for us.
  • Intuitive UX
  • Payroll processing is easy
  • Easy for employees to select their benefits
  • There isn't a PTO process that fits perfect with our plan--we have a no PTO policy but like to track the number of days each person takes off
The platform is user friendly and intuitive. I have had coworkers express how easy it is to navigate through UZIO to find what they are looking for or to make benefit selections.
