Veeam Backup & Replication has been designed to harness the power of the cloud, including protecting cloud workloads, storing backups in the cloud, and leveraging the cloud for disaster recovery. Describe whether your organization has benefitted from these capabilities, and how. How how how how can you what the hell do so.

We do not use Veeam's cloud infrastructure, nor do we use their partners. Instead, we have opted for our own colocation services as they are much less expensive that most Veeam partners and give us full control over our disaster recovery sites, should we ever need to use them. While I know of many partners to Veeam, I have yet to find one that can actually provide better service than just building a mid-range server and putting it into a colocation so that it's available when necessary. Most partners want to charge both storage fees and ingress/egress, while most colocations will accept your hardware and only charge for the space in their rack.

We haven't really used Veeam for cloud services as we're backing up locally to a NAS and then we're using that NAS to backup to the Wasabi cloud with immutable backups. We have not incorporated it into any of our cloud software and as it currently stands, there is no intention to do so.

We've been using Veeam Backup & Replication to ship copies of our backups to Amazon S3. This gets our data out of the data center to ensure issues in our data center can be recovered. We are also using the immutable storage option in Amazon S3 to ensure our data is protected from a ransomware attack.

Currently, we are using Veeam Backup & Replication to offload our backups to Wasabi with the immutability option enabled. We use this to get a bigger chance of restoring our environment if we ever get hit with ransomware or other destructive malware. Also if we would lose our on-premise backup storage we still would have a copy in the cloud that we even could download to a new backup storage device if such an event might occur. At the moment we haven't had to deal with such an event but our trust to get the most of our or even all our data back if it would happen has gotten bigger.

Generally, we build on-premise systems, and our system has no connection to the internet; that's why we don't benefit from this functionality. But in the future, we are planning to move our system to the cloud. At that time, we can use this functionality. I am sure that Veeam Backup & Replication has a good feature on the cloud side.

We have recently implemented our cloud functionality and will be looking to expand this to more devices in the coming weeks/months Overall setup was easy to do, however, on Blob storage having to use scale-out repositories rather than a standard copy over off a job seems an overly complicated and unnecessary way to do it, however once implemented the backup works well

We have not yet set up our cloud storage service as we are still in the process of transitioning our backups from our old system over to Veeam. The cloud storage and protection, however, are some of the main reasons that we decided to go with Veeam backup, to begin with.

We're just at the beginning of our cloud transition and currently only use the more traditional applications like Microsoft 365. Veeam has given us confidence in our ability to backup cloud data with its free trials of cloud backup applications.

We use the backup to cloud repository and this has worked well. This has enabled us to build a robust backup solution thats fits our DR needs. Without this we would have to revert to external tape backup which would not have been suitable sure to our workloads or locations.

We do not currently have anything in the cloud we need to backup. Nor do we store any backups in the cloud at this point. In the near future, 2 to 5 years, I don't see us moving in that direction due to HIPAA and other security considerations. It is easier to stay on-prem.
