Our group in particular does not use Veeam for cloud backup at this time but it is something that we have in our sights. We have a friendly entity that is using Veeam for immutable storage with a cloud provider and they are feeding us good vibes about the process.

The best backup solution !
we only use the 365 mailbox backup, not yet the cloud virtual servers. however, we have already needed to restore several mails from a critical mailbox and it worked fine.

We have been using immutable backup storage in the cloud for a long time now and it has definitely eased our peace of mind. Thankfully we have never needed to restore from it yet, but we have tested restores from it and it worked beautifully.

Veeam Backup: best for virtual infrastructure.
We are not saving anything to the cloud at this time due to a lack of great internet speed. We have tried using the cloud connector in the past, but pushing all of the files in the cloud took forever.

We are still have all of our servers onprem. They are virtualized with VMware and split between our main office and a colocation datacenter. I like that Veeam has cloud based backup solutions for if and when we decide to move some or all of our workloads to the cloud. I won't have to look for another backup software when we find ourselves moving to the cloud since Veeam has those capabilities.

We have benefited by storing backups in the cloud and also having the ability to use the cloud for disaster recovery. Through our Cloud Connect partner, we can trigger a DR scenario at will and they'll spin up our VMs for us. As far as cloud storage goes, again, we use our Cloud Connect partner, but we also do object-based immutable storage elsewhere.

Yes, we have been able to overhaul certain aspects of our infrastructure with peace of mind knowing that we have a working copy to depend on should something not go to plan. The recovery has been consistently on point and useful to our needs. We have plans to implement and additional off-site backup location soon as well.
