Prior to Veeam, the company used a Nakivo product. Only virtual loads could be protected, the console was not user friendly, the product had many errors, ... All this led to a general lack of concern until we decided to go with Veeam Backup and take control of the entire IT infrastructure.

Cloud Capabilities

We are in the first phase of purchase / configuration / adaptation. Soon we will move to the next phase which will be backing up in the cloud.

NAS Backup

We have some files and application designs that still reside in some Nas of the company. Thanks to Veeam's solution, we now have peace of mind because we no longer fear the loss of our files and applications.

Veeam came about though a networking event. Being naturally curious about technology, looked into it. Was able to get (v8 at the time) installed and backing up in little to no time with no issues out of the gate. Since then, it has been a staple in our offerings to clients.

Are not backing up cloud workloads, but are sending data to the cloud for offsite storage. Being able to utilize object storage that can be marked as immutable gives a great sense of security of the data being backed up. Also helps with cybersecurity insurance premiums!

Needs Assesment

Our organization needed an affordable backup solution for our AWS workloads that was reliable. Veeam seems to be one of the leaders in the industry and it seems to be for good reason. It was also important that the product was easy to set up and use and so far it has met expectations.

Cloud Capabilities

We use this product exclusively for AWS workloads in the cloud, including Windows and Linux servers and EBS volumes. So far, the product has done everything it has promised and we have been happy with it. Ease of use is a big selling point in my opinion. Restores have gone great so far.
