This is almost the perfect product for us - it takes a familiar interface and builds upon it. There are many aspects that have improved the way we do things. Making our forecasting more secure and more in-depth. Like with anything there are aspects that can be improved - specifically connections to third-party data sources although this is such a broad feature.

Establishing communication with a Vena Solutios customer service agent is a very simple task. It is fast and fluid, generally you have to connect to a direct chat with its experts and solve live problems live or simply run Vena tools to optimize our work.

When you receive a great customer support rep, you'll get support right away but other times we've waited four days before getting a response. The benefit of Vena's customer support is that they're always willing to field questions where other vendors are limited to what they will respond to.

We have had a hard time with support. My questions seem simple on my end, example 'clear slices' is a large issue with us, but trying to explain to support takes days if not weeks and multiple zoom calls. In all of our issues, we have run into this and I am not sure why. Instead of asking support questions, we have resorted to Google to try and help find out solutions there quicker.

So I'll qualify this. Overall a 7, but that is mostly based on a really cumbersome and troubling implementation. We have some very specific concerns surrounding security that puts some limitations on the translation ability in Vena from one of our major data sources. It was a real pain to get Vena to address our concerns surrounding some of the cyber security vulnerabilities and work arounds. But more recently, now that we are active, they are quick to reply and always work through our concerns relatively quickly.

The customer support team is best in class. They are highly effective, supportive, and innovative. It has been a pleasure to work with them and the Vena team is one of the main reasons I would enthusiastically recommend purchasing Vena. The success of the system is only outmatched by the quality and commitment of the support team.

Vena Solutions support will respond quickly for all queries that we send to them. First response is fast, but after that it depends if the query is complex or not. If it is a bug solution or related to demanding an upgrade, you need to wait some time to obtain a new version of the Excel Add-in.

Our initial support has been lackluster. We received a lot of "do it yourself" feedback. Our initial trainer was not the best person for the job. It is important to have people that are effective at communication following the rule of KISS to all participants. I understand it can be challenging but in a services company, it is essential.

For us, we have a pretty technical group that uses the system so when we need to reach out to support it is usually a pretty challenging issue. This means that the level 1 tech you initially get isn't as helpful as we would like and therefore have to push to get to the next level.
