What is Ventiv Claims?
Ventiv Claims is a claims administration system that is comprised of one or more Claims Management modules and a variety of supporting modules, including Absence Management, Enterprise Legal Management, Workers’ Compensation, Policy Management, Billing Management, Claims Intelligence, Corrective Action Plans, and Incident Reporting. The system was designed as a claims management system from the perspective of claims examiners. Designed to make it easy to manage claims, it includes functionality like diaries, business rules, workflow management, notepads, and financial management. Ventiv Claims enables users to define custom workflows tailored to each client’s specific business process, to make claim, document, and policy administration more efficient.
Ventiv Claims offers an “out of the box” solution to clients. At the same time, the Ventiv Claims architectural design was developed with the fundamental requirement of flexibility to adapt to meet the changing business requirements of clients. The system modules, fields, interfaces, and reports are user configurable so that Ventiv Claims can be adjusted to meet most organizational processes without custom programming.

It has enabled our Risk Management department to centralize our claims and reporting. It also allows dashboards to be created for the benefit of our internal Legal and Accounting teams.

Compared to paper files, the ease of access to file documents and notes related too are seamless. Each file is able to be designated as a certain type and scope which in turn allows for easier capability of finding certain documents.

Ventiv is awesome!
Ventiv has definitely improved our organizations claims management process by through its seamless tracking and processing. I would highly recommend this product to other organizations for ease of use and great customer support. This product we love and use everyday. Everything in one system to make the end user experience easy to navigate-no other software needed
Yes, we have the capability to customize fields and use business rules to trigger certain events. They keep us informed and compliant with changes within the system. Built-in functions for reserving, correspondence & payments are easy to use and easy to track. Bill review process is much better within the system.

Ventiv Claims Review
We dont use too many automated workflows within Ventiv Claims , so I am not sure how has Ventiv Claims improved our organization’s claims management process other than a few restrictions, requirements and errors that the system produces for us. For example, entering payments that have already been paid: the system will allow you to enter the payment, but a flag will prevent the payment from professing. Stops duplicate payments from being made.

If you have field employees, you need Ventiv Claims!
I set the "Diary" tab so it is the first thing I see when I open Ventiv Claims and I absolutely love the "Workflow" tab. Workflow allows me to see claims that have come in that need to be worked, and having the Diary right there has really helped me work through claims at my own pace and easily see what needs to be addressed.

The work flow configuration tools have tremendously improved our claims management processes in the area of mail importation and timely assignment to examiner staff. It has also proved to be very help in the processing of medical and non-medical bills with and without nightly interface with my bill review company.

iVOS has helped streamline and automate different aspects of our claims handling process freeing us to focus our time and effort in managing the claims. Ventiv products have made claims management easier for our clients based on the user friendliness of the software along with all of the options that come along with it. If you need information, by using the reporting functions provided, it is easy to pull just about any information you seek in minutes.
Ventiv Claims is highly configurable, though it does require continuous support. There is an ease of use in comparison to similar applications; however, there are some automations that could be available to better handle client needs. Dynamic business rules can be built to assist in certain automation, but often require assistance from Ventiv to create and implement.

It's been a long road, but the Ventiv has improved significantly over the past five years.
We've used Ventiv Claims for 15 years, I barely remember what the workflow was prior. Being able to handle claims and policy information out of the same system was pretty groundbreaking back in 2006 when we purchased the system. While I don't think it's groundbreaking anymore, the ability to build processes into the current Ventiv infrastructure is special.

We only use the workflow configuration for incoming Digital claims, which works great. Things are going really well after we upgraded to the latest version (5.xxx), we are now able to use a better web-browser, things are now flowing better. There are quite a few new features that the users like - and when they're happy, I'm happy.

Being able to report out our finances and truly trust the data, business rules set up that allows for complete tracking of a claim from beginning to end with email alerts, audit capability of fields ad tabs, email alert notification of new incidents, everything is all electronic now so you don't have to go searching through a paper file to find anything related to a claim.

Ventiv Claims review: One-stop shop
Business rules and workflows have saved us significant time and allow staff to be more consistent with the information they put into the environment. The correspondence feature makes it easy for staff to produce letters to claimants and vendors with consistency. The document image features have allowed us to be paperless since 2009, and it easily allowed staff to administer claims when the pandemic hit.

Ventiv Claims System review
I feel we have the freedom to 'fine tune" the system with many options that each user can change to their liking. I think the learning curve on it is very easy. <br><br>The reporter function is basic and provides the necessary reports needed to provide information to our excess carriers, auditors, actuaries, etc. They now have a new Ad Hoc Reporter which we are anxious to access.
