Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

This is of course a nice bundled setup
Easy to quote and to present to the end users
The partner web site is also well done to track the expiration dates and take actions
The Management included in the price is important. it does not need to be purchases separetly

The licensing model has benefited in some ways at customer sites where we have utilized all of the features within the licensing. However in some sites that only require basic functionality think the option to buy the box outright on its own would suit a bit better and allow us to sell boxes to customers that are subscription averse.

This bundle made it such an easy decision to be able to get all of the features that we needed and more. It provided us with more protection and features that we have made use of. Being able to use Intelligent AV on the gateway is a fantastic addition along with the Web blocker making this one of the products out there. Knowing we got all of that and more bundled at a good price was spectacular.

This approach makes managing and maintaining the appliances much simpler as we no longer need to track multiple module licenses and ensure that these licenses are renewed and kept up to date across dozens of devices individually. We just need to keep track of the license level and renewal date for each device, saving time and effort.

Two types of licenses are available: Basic and Total security. These packages offer less flexibility in the sense that you can't pick and chose what features you need and only pay for those features. However, this simplified pricing scheme does work very well for the industry they are targeting. The cost of each license is appropriate for the features included.

The licences are easy to manage, we mainly sell total security licence but sometimes basic too and we can select specific functionality if needed.

Its simplifies thigs at least, would like to have this remain at future. Cloud implementations should be separated, so customers that don't want to put resources at cloud environments don't have to. Not aware of any other benefits that could useful our organization or others. Licenses could be more affordable for small business if WG would like me to endorse them.

Moving from a traditional network setup into WatchGuard Network Security's 'managed solution' has been a blessing. Following a relatively simple install which I recommend, you have a trained network engineer to assist with the ongoing maintenance, and the data available to you is fantastic. Having a simplified annual bill means we can report within our accounting process and forecast as part of our IT budget.

Having a single list means we do not run the risk of missing any renewals as they give us plenty of notice of upcoming renewals

It makes the decision easier since there are less options. I recommend the device that can offer throughput similar to their ISP provided speeds and the best license for 3 years so they don't have to think about it for a long time.

Certainly beneficial for us. Separate products or technologies would cause overlap in functionality which ultimately has overheads both in direct cost and in terms of time spent setting up and managing the technology. Having everything working in one place made the overall solution quicker to implement and easier to manage going forward.

Having a single appliance/license simplifies the conversation with clients; we find the more complicated the licensing is for a product, the more a client can feel confused about the solution, which leads to indecision. We only offer WG's total security license, so customers can rest easy knowing they are getting the full feature stack both now and for any new features added during their licensed period.

As a single appliance with a single license covering threat protection, reporting, and management capabilities. there are no expensive add-ons to purchase and integrate into the system. A client may decide to not purchase an add-on to save money e.g. a separate and expensive reporting module. This would compromise the total security posture of an ICT system.

With the WatchGuard solution and all its built-in resources, it is possible to have complete control over the network, both from external attacks and from attempts to access unwanted content internally. With its spamBlocker feature, we were able to eliminate/retain more than 1000 spam emails per week. With its web access control feature, we were able to limit access only to content related to the work of each user. Its efficient point-to-point VPN allowed us to connect 3 work units in a simple and transparent way to users, and its Mobile VPN SSL feature allowed us to practically allow external access for some users with only a client software and valid credentials.

We are a nonprofit, and I am the single technology support person and only work part-time. We are an organization that provides support for dogs and cats. It is important that the technology is simple to use and reliable. The single license makes it simple and cost-effective. Compared to other technologies where licensing can get very complicated, and the costs keep adding up.
