The licensing is very simple to understand and they have 3 tiers for you to choose from. Standard support basically just covers warranty issues so we don't choose that. We go for the Basic Security Suite which covers most everything we need. They also offer a trade up program so we can get the latest hardware for free by only paying for a new subscription.

It takes a lot less time to set up a functioning firewall from scratch. Also when your budget it makes it a lot simpler to identify TCO. Also, annual maintenance is a single price for both license and hardware.

As a single subscription, the renewals process is very simple. We tell the client what features are included and the differences between the major packages so that they can make a choice between A, B or C rather than having to look at 100 options and explaining every one in detail.

This approach makes managing and maintaining the appliances much simpler as we no longer need to track multiple module licenses and ensure that these licenses are renewed and kept up to date across dozens of devices individually. We just need to keep track of the license level and renewal date for each device, saving time and effort.

This has absolutely simplified our deployments when compared to other similar solutions. We know that out-of-box, the WatchGuard appliances are going to provide all the tools we need to build secure network requirements without having to worry about multiple licenses to get all of the bells and whistles.

The basic security suite is our go to for new clients. All the applications that are included support our main requirements for network security. This package is affordable and sufficient for most client offices. We do upgrade some clients to the Total Security Suite if they require additional security measures.

Its very simple to renew, implement and buy, is only one part number needed to obtain the full package, no need to have a express difficult crazy course to understand what you are buying. And you will allways get all you need, not needing to buy extra licencing or hardware.

The single license model helps to keep things simple, easy to apply and makes quoting/renewals straight forward as you dont need to compare multiple offerings like with some products.

We took the HA license and devices to mitigate the point of failure and get a higher level of system availability. The reporting system is very well covered with their free SIEM solution Dimension, which offers great options for traffic monitoring and reporting. Basic security license has enough good protection features.

WatchGuard Network Security simplifies everything thanks to its firebox devices, having a Watchguard UTM firebox in the communications rack is synonymous with "no problems" and once it is up and running, the system is practically independent, from watchguard they update it periodically and its systems in the cloud they update it every day with the most recent threats. Install and forget problems.

WatchGuard Network Security is a very simple offering that includes the appliance and whichever level of support that the customer chooses to implement (i.e. Standard, Basic or Total Security). The package is straight forward and easy to understand. WatchGuard also offers easy to understand literature that explains what is included in each of the security bundles.

WatchGuard Network Security offers a simple-to-understand line of products, which is consistent throughout their entire range. Their smallest devices offer almost the same feature set as their largest ones, which means they are suitable for many different use cases while all being managed in the same manner with the same consistent convenience.
