We use this tool to help organize all our meetings and to share documents across different teams and departments, not just within the company, but outside the company as well.

Pros and Cons

I really like the collaborative aspect of it. You can draw diagrams, interact with PowerPoints, excel documents, and all that stuff, interactively with a bunch of people. I think that's really great. You can also do that with people outside your company.

The UX and the UI for the chat aspect, especially when you're trying to create a new group for people to talk in, could be improved.

For the positives, it's anything that involves sharing a document or some presentation with other people inside and outside the company. As I mentioned, with improvements, it's just the chat aspect could be improved. In terms of the UX and UI, you can do everything, but to get to that point takes a little bit longer than it should.

As an organisation we have thousands of employees based all over the world. Most people work remotely but we need to keep in contact with more than just calls. I use WebEx Meetings on a daily basis to connect with remote teams, customers and meetings. It is now my 'Go To' product when I need to meet with people on video.

Pros and Cons

The real time translation has proved a hit for calls where language can be a barrier
Ability to use host different types of meetings with the best layout. Webinars with an uncluttered screen layout
I often join calls whilst on the move, the ability to block my background noise so it isn't played in to the meeting makes for a more pleasant experience for everyone.
Being able to move my meeting from my desktop to my phone without interruption is a huge bonus as no longer need to drop and re-join when I need to be on the move.

There are currently no features that I feel are missing. I'm yet to use all of those that are available

Likelihood to Recommend

WebEx Meetings is well suited for all of the meetings that I host whether internal or external. It gives a clean and easy to use layout without too many distracting icons. I've started to make use of the WebEx Assistant which is fantastic as I no longer need to take notes (that I'm likely to lose). The WebEx Assistant does it all for me and I can refer back to meetings as and when required.

I am one of the Webex Administrators at our office. I assist Staff with setting up Webex Meetings, and occasionally schedule Webex Meetings for Administrative Staff, as well as record meetings and make said recordings available to Staff who weren't able to attend.

Our organization has 16 branches, and Webex Meetings allow us to be more efficient with our time, having multiple branches able to communicate in real time without everyone needing to be at a specific branch for a meeting.

Pros and Cons

Flexible - Staff can access the app from a phone or computer.
Easy to Administer - It's fairly easy to schedule and record meetings.
File Size - For a webconferencing app, Webex Meetings are relatively smaller in size to make transferring easy.

I don't really have any complaints or improvements - it works well as-is.

Likelihood to Recommend

Webex Meetings is very suitable for use with remote meetings - that's its main purpose and excels at that task.

Although it could be done, Webex Meetings is probably not suited to host a meeting of people in the same building - it would be quicker to have everyone meet in the same room to focus on the meeting, versus just using Webex Meetings because it's available.

We use it for everything to meeting catchups to all hands conferences. It has been providing us high quality meetings at a very large scale. It also integrates well into our call center.

API versions, pulling data from one cisco system to another is a massive painpoint

Webex Meetings overheats basically all our laptops. they aren't low spec either i5 12th gen minimum we have had to roll out laptop cooling to heavy Webex Meetings users

Webex Meetings are a secondary alternative to Microsoft Teams, and although we don't use it nearly as much - it's still a primary resource to testing Audio Visual collaboration. Also, our primary conference devices (Codecs) work very well with Webex Meetings.

It is device agnostic, works on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and even in a regular web-browser.
It has a user-friendly interfaces on all platforms.

The integration of 3rd party applications such as Slido has been a bumpy road.
The WebEx help website often includes outdated articles.
The inclusion of a larger set of emoji reactions would be nice.
The delay of sunsetting of old versions of Webex Meetings has resulted in some customer confusion.

Webex Meetings is very well suited for team meetings and general collaboration discussions. It has been much less useful for instances involving surveying, polling, and other features relying on 3rd party application integration as often the user interface can be confusing for new customers. There isn't a nice way to display a timer to presenters so they know how much time they have left during length-limited sessions.

Webex Meetings is one of the best when it comes to this. It looks and feels premium and professional. Crisp video and voice quality. When working with large clients, small things make a difference and Webex Meetings does make a huge impact.

Web version can be improved, the UI needs some work.
When clients use the web version it keeps asking them to download the software.
In some cases, at low internet bandwidth clients do face an issue. I have not faced any issues.

Webex Meetings works perfectly even on calls where there are multiple people from different countries with different bandwidths of internet. Also, while presenting the screen and voice quality does not drop like other software we have used. In some cases where clients have a low bandwidth they do seem to complain but I have not had any issues when even working from my phone internet.

Being a support specialist, we have to use a variety of tools to connect with clients in meetings, and Webex Meetings is one of the tools that we use a lot.
I personally prefer Webex Meetings, when I like to present more "feature rich" content. In Webex Meetings the Camera quality looks more crisp and especially when I share the screen, the screenshare window visual is smooth and clear. This being my personal experience.
The one-click invite is like a reward for me, while using Webex Meetings, and I like to use Webex Meetings on my IOS, which is favored with a materialistic build.

Previously when switching to Cisco Webex Meetings. It happened a lot of times where the meeting suddenly dropped off because of the Internet or network connectivity. Checked with the ISP and having a 200 mbps plan, there seemed to be no problem from ISP and this was getting frustrating for my office clients, especially when I was the presenter.

And sometimes the "other" meeting applications which I used, plainly used to prompt "Dropped because of unknown reason".

This got really frustrating. But afterward when I started using Cisco Webex Meetings. The call dropping scenarios became less and I don't know how the embarrassing scenarios got lowered down in numbers. And I realized that I can potentially use my laptops FHD camera to stream FHD live presentations.
Since then, I got habituated to high quality video meetings.

Webex Meetings is very good for close collaboration with co-workers. The user can choose video conference, share the desktop or whiteboard to help the user do communication. The attendees can watch the same content and ensure all the participants are on the same page, so they can communicate with each other in a more efficient way.

Webex is used to large scale meetings such as broadcasts, townhalls, all-hands etc, where participants dial in from around the world. With Webex, I believe scaling is unlimited and haven't had latency issues ever. I'm aware the participants use either browsers, apps from both desktop & mobile, to connect quite seamlessly.

Although this is common, and mainly due to OS related issue I'd want to bring the point of switching between audio devices can be tough sometimes.

In our organization we use Webex Meetings for weekly development standups with our external customers and partners. It provides a great platform for communication and collaboration. It provides great screen sharing options between different members as it offers the users to adjust the zoom to compensate for smaller and bigger screens. And many other great features such as the whiteboard which can be easily exported afterwards.

It also provides many other quality of life features such as built in noise canceling, which is great if you are dialing in from a noisy environment or another member has.
