Webex Meetings is very stable, audio and video have better quality and it has screen sharing. many endpoint devices are able to join meetings in an easy and professional way. Mobile applications and desktop applications do not consume more resources of PC as others. Users are able to join in an easy way no more training is needed.

Microsoft Teams is integrated with our business email, which makes it more convenient for internal calls/meetings. A big proponent of this is always having the status of our coworkers and MS teams can assist in scheduling meetings when the invitees are available. However if we are to invite external guests into a meeting Webex is better, as Webex allows for guest accounts, whereas I believe teams want the user to verify their identity before issuing temporary access to join the meeting.

Webex gives both Zoom and Microsoft Teams a good run for their money. Webex seems to better accommodate a large number of participants and thus why we use the software for our larger meetings.

We liked the integration of our phone systems and Meetings. The necessary steps to configure this were easy and had no maintenance. The solution just works for us. The ability for the users to be able to connect and just have a meeting without needing to be in person. The recording features work and are much easier to send than Teams.

  • Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and now part of Microsoft Teams
this was my first collaboration/communication tool ever in the corporate world. Though it was exciting during those days to use it, it started losing its sheen soon after webex came into being. It is quite difficult to use and is not as user-friendly as Webex. Esp. for a product from micro soft stable you would imagine an easier collaboration with MS outlook. bit it is not the case. Webex Meetings connect and integrate much better with outlook rather than MS teams. I would at any day recommend Webex Meetings or Webex teams or any other collaboration tool from webex in place of MS products.

Webex Meetings are way ahead of the other software I've used when it comes to being user-friendly and convenient. Other software applications I have used often break down, don't offer as many useful features or lack a proper network structure to support widespread use on a globally-accessed platform. Webex Meetings do all of these and more.

Of the 4 video conferencing platforms I've utilized - Webex would be tied for 3rd on my list. I've come to find that both Zoom and Teams are more widely used in the B2B space, thus making it easier to connect seamlessly with clients. It's always a pain when a user needs to download the new video conferencing platform at the start of a meeting.

I am not a big fan of Zoom but used for some ceremonies. Looks like some old tech, and I feel like it is not secure enough. Webex Meetings look more decent and authenticated, and more secure. CGI uses Teams for all their meetings; it's as good as Webex Meetings.

I have tried several of the other similar products and found them close to the same to use. Personally, I liked the features that I found on Webex better than on the others. I like the ease of use and functionality.

Webex Meetings keeps simple the connections with others, the video and audios are faster, it is more intuitive than others, and the menu is more organized. In general the behavior is very similar in both platforms (desktop and mobile). Regarding the interface design, it is more professional and minimalist and works every time.

Both tools worked well.
Vs Webex I think:

Teams: Does not allow to provide the control to somebody out of the company. And it is pretty useful. It does not allow recording meetings if it is not scheduled.

Zoom: Works pretty well, it accomplished almost all the features required, but it does not look pretty professional.

We use Microsoft Teams as our staple platform in the workplace but most of our team prefer Webex Meetings. This is due to its flexibility and stability. We have also used Zoom to bring in remote presenters for lectures and events but many staff are still cautious of using Zoom due to previous security downfalls. WebEx Meetings has a good name with most people we talk to and most users find it easy to adapt to and use.

Zoom is the easiest to use, but of course, had security issues early on. GoTo Meeting is not a preferred platform for me, and the meeting I attended that used it has since gotten an account with Zoom instead. Microsoft Teams is integrated into their suite, which is nice but has challenges with video (you can't pick who is where, people are different sizes, etc). I've also had trouble joining Microsoft Teams a few times and now go to all those meetings early to be sure I can get in.

I prefer Webex Meetings vs. Microsoft Teams. I feel like there are better features with Webex. The customers are like most of us, when they have to switch to a new platform (i.e. from MS Teams to Webex) is learning curve and big adjustment. They find features they like and really focus on what they dislike. It all comes down to what is best for the organization and what is going to benefit the employees and customers and still maintain the bottom line.

For basic video meetings, just about every platform out there delivers on the mandatory requirements: ease of joining a meeting, acceptable audio and video quality, basic user controls for muting, turning on/off video, and reactions. Where Webex Meetings excels, is in the wide portfolio of compatible devices, the device-agnostic performance across Windows/Mac/IOS/Android/WebRTC, and the intelligent AI capabilities of the Webex Assistant. Where Webex Meetings takes things to another level completely, is when you need to host a webinar or event, as Webex Webinars and Webex Events are additional product levels that bring whole new suites of capabilities to the table while still looking and feeling like Webex Meetings to the host user. Finally, when you factor in the specialized extensions available from Webex partners for niche requirements across legal, government, health, and other sectors, you end up with Webex Meetings being the most professional platform for online collaboration (as opposed to MS Teams being the easiest to adopt since MS bundles it with pretty much everything they sell, and Zoom having the greatest mindshare in the general public due to its "free" version being the most accessible at the start of the pandemic).

Webex Meetings is superior to each of the other products we tried because of its better security, ease of use, and quality of audio and video. We have been using Webex Meetings for 2 years, and now when a vendor or client sends a meeting invite from another platform, it is glaringly obvious how clunky or hard to use the other platforms are. Webex Meetings just makes sense when you use it. The options are where they should be and the features are things that should be in any video conferencing platform, and the feature list grow every month.

Actually, we use both Microsoft Teams and Webex Meetings. Although, Webex Meetings was our initial choice and has been used for longer at the organization. Microsoft Teams is still fairly new and I don't think we have had a chance to explore its functionalities to the fullest. However, one advantage Teams seems to have had right off the bat is it being a Microsoft product. Hence, it integrates better with Outlook. As I mentioned, we still prefer Webex Meetings for larger meetings (Teams can be too bandwidth hungry) and for meetings with external partners (Teams has had issues with inviting people outside our organization).

->In Webex, we have an option to join the calls with dial-in numbers across the globe. This has helped us a lot to us. Some of the employees didn't have good network connectivity with the help of a dial-in number they can join the call over the mobile phone and not worry about getting lost because of n/w issues.
->Mobile versions of Webex were also a great help.

  • Zoom and Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
I had used both Zoom and Microsoft Teams for my meetings. I especially like the user-friendly capability that outpaced the other products offered by Webex competitors. I liked the audio, video and that meets my bandwidth requirements. Loved the whiteboard and easy to customize and share the concepts easily.
