WordPress needs to be set up before use, making it less adequate for students. It has a huge userbase and tons of add-ons, but these advantages are not accessible to the beginner.
Wix is very powerful and easy to use, making it on par with Weebly. But I believe Weebly has a clearer interface, making it better for the beginner.
Weebly allows the user to copy the files of his/her website. It is not a full backup, but is far better than Wix.

I evaluated Wix, and started building my site. To my horror, I later learned of their horrendous ecosystem strategy. I understand why they do it as a business, but as a user, it drivers me INSANE. They go to great lengths to prevent you from using 3rd party tools. I.e. marketing tools that will work on any website are restricted on Wix. They want to push you towards using their own add-ons. The problem is, most of these add-ons are mediocre, IMO.

I liked the features in Weebly more so than what Wix had to offer. It was a good balance of customizability and user-friendliness. I also liked Weebly's given templates better than what either Wix or Google Sites had to offer. Google sites were very open-ended and required more hardcoding to create the same effects as Weebly.

The only comparison I did was to Wix during the first testing/trial period. I found Weebly easier for a non-technical person (like myself). I understood that Wix would give more flexibility for a few things, but it would take more time to deploy when compared to Weebly. In terms of pricing the difference was little, so the priority was to choose a solution that was easy to use and fast to deploy without big efforts.

WordPress takes time to set up properly, needs hosting and always has security issues. Drupal is getting more and more complicated every year. Again, hosting a Drupal installation is a security headache. Weebly, being a hosted solution, completed does away with the need to worry about installation or keep updating the server side code because of security issues. They automatically take care of this. With Unbounce, you get a hosted solution which is pretty good at A/B testing but you don't get the range of templates and widgets that come with Weebly.

Weebly is great for early-stage beginners with no website building experience but with a solid foundation of basic computer skills. If you like to explore and learn, I would highly recommend taking more time and researching/learning WordPress instead as they have so many themes available with so many plugins that really allow you to build and customize the site you want. If you do not have the time or patience, then Weebly may be a great alternative to get a site up and off the ground quickly.

Weebly has the best price compared to this three and it's very, very simple to use. Wix is a quite more satisfying in terms of getting exactly what you want in the aesthetics, and Squarespace has a lot of fancy themes and a very good support team, but it only beats Weebly in cost effectiveness if your pockets are full.

Weebly has more options to edit the effects of how any picture or text box appears when going on the page, such as transition and or fade in or out. It has more animation options than Squarespace.

I have used both and Squarespace offers more app integrations but is more restrictive with design layout. The major difference is Weebly uses a free-flow drop and drag, whereas Squarespace has bullet-style areas that you can add text/photo/link, etc. I like Squarespace for the more modern styled templates and enhanced app features, but Weebly gives more creative freedom in designing the page.

Squarespace is an underpowered and less-intuitive version of Weebly, which requires your customers go to site.Squarespace.com to finish the checkout process. This is absolutely unacceptable and I would never recommend anyone use them because of this alone, so no other comparisons matter.
WordPress is incredible because of the community around it. Tens of thousands of actively supported plugins and themes with breathtaking complexity are available for very small sums, and WordPress is the platform which keeps these extensions playing well together. That said, WordPress is too powerful for some clients or would exceed some client budgets.
Drupal is monstrous to implement, terrible to use, frustrating to modify mid-build, and is far outside the realm of self-management by clients, requiring an on-call development house handles even minor changes. There is nearly no situation I would recommend using Drupal.
