Acquia DAM (Widen) Reduces the Gap in Managing Marketing Assets
- Organization
- Ease of navigation/user interface
- Identifying what an asset is
- Integration with third-party sites

Acquia DAM (Widen) - A perfect enterprise level DAM solution
- Bulk upload
- Metadata management
- Versioning
- Publishing workflow
- User roles and permissions
- Acquia DAM (Widen) portals has lot of scope of improvement. Currently it serves very limited type of audience. Customisation possibilities are almost none.
- APIs
- Integrations with third parties.
I appreciate the ease of Acquia DAM (Widen)
- Organizes Photo Library
- Easy to share outside of users
- Easy to control levels of access to photo library
- Portals are a great way to share photos with people outside of our user group.
- Sharing links to photos at different size and scale.
One of the best asset management tools out there for the price!
- Organizing assets
- Ease of uploading and entering metadata
- Providing analytics for our DAM
- Customer service could be improved. A dedicated person was appreciated prior to Aquia acquisition. Now you have to go through an automated system online.
- I wish it were a bit easier for our sales team to navigate or if we could somehow tailor the experience more towards certain departments
Acquia DAM: Elevating Workflows, Enhancing Collaboration
- The platform's user-friendly design ensures easy adoption across departments globally - enhancing productivity.
- Acquia DAM excels in attaching detailed metadata to assets, facilitating quick and accurate searches.
- The platform efficiently scales with our growing asset library, maintaining performance and responsiveness.
- Improvements in the cropping and editing features within Acquia DAM are essential to ease the workload for our graphic designers. The current functionality falls short in providing the necessary tools and precision required for efficient asset manipulation, not helping with that time management at all.
- Enhancing the onboarding experience, we propose creating more video tutorials for Acquia DAM. These visual guides, covering topics from account setup to collaboration features, offer dynamic, step-by-step learning.
- To improve the onboarding experience, we recommend expanding introductory tools and templates in Acquia DAM. Introducing more user-friendly features and providing a variety of templates will empower new users to navigate the platform with ease, fostering quicker proficiency and enhancing overall usability.
Acquia DAM may not be as helpful for graphic design tasks. Its features might not fully cater to the specific needs and preferences of graphic designers, potentially requiring additional tools for design-related tasks.
A good product for any company
- Portals
- All users in included
- Roles for uers
- Permissions
Everyday user. Acquia DAM is reliable and smarter than me.
- I like portals -- for creating smaller, focused environments for users.
- Search power and meta data -- fields
- Saving new versions over old versions
- Archiving capabilities
- Share links for external users and web use
- Thumbnails and Lists, is good, but sometimes I'd like to see thumbnails in different sizes
Using Acquia DAM (Widen)
- Portals are a useful tool to share and make assets available both to internal and external clients with the ability for they to either download or view the items.
- The ability to create categories and collections enables the user to sort assets into more manageable groups.
- Metadata can be customized and also embedded into asset.
- The inability to change the default search returns so that they stay each time one logs in. For example, in my experience, it always seems to sort to date asset is added even though it's been changed to filename countless times.
- In my experience, search results are limited to 10,000. With hundreds of thousands of assets, this limit makes it difficult for metadata cleanup as it limits results.
Reliable, clean and robust Digital Asset Manager.
- User experience and design is elegant and clean
- Customization of dashboards and portals is easy to create
- Easily manage users and assets
- Scales to any amount of assets and administration
- Taxonomy and metadata structure is easy to build
- High quality customer service
- AI image scanning and description baked in
Remarkably, Acquia DAM has expedited our disaster response. This platform allows swift offloading of on-site resources, thus enabling vital fundraising activities to commence quickly as emergency responses are urgent. Concurrently, it supports our national marketing efforts during fundraising seasons, harmonizing our brand messaging. Furthermore, it serves as a consolidated repository for our multimedia ministry library, storing and managing audio, video, graphics, documents, and images. In its totality, Acquia DAM has become an irreplaceable asset in the organization.
A DAM good option
- Provides clean and easy portals to share with clients
- Autofilling metadata fields
- Providing multiple search options - searching by file type is great
- More customization of the dashboard would be nice, but not needed
- Better clarity on organization between user roles and permissions would be helpful
If you are a small company, Acquia may be a bit overkill due to features and cost that will likely not be fully taken advantage of.
Great DAM system for companies bigg and small
- Portals
- Conversions
- Searching
- Language Capabilities
- Collaboration
- Feature updates

- Accepting the new ideas from the DAM Users.
- Having more functions in the portals app.

- Integration with outside software is clunky
Great service
- Excellent training
- Very organized environment
- useful and customizable platform
- A more customizable interfase to upload documents showing only the most used items.
Acquia DAM (Widen) is a game changer!
- Helps organize files by portals
- Make sharing files/artwork with others easy
- Provides extra storage of all artwork that can be easily accessible
- Versioning sometimes takes a while to update
- export links of collection
- thumbnails
- easy to filter
- In my opinion, way too complex and hard to figure out some of the ways to create collections
- portals are great, but not enough flexibility with the colors and tools
- I think it should be able to create totally separate areas in one business
Give Acquia DAM (Widen) a try!
- The training they provided was GREAT.
- The DAM is very user friendly.
- The onboarding process for staff is very easy and training is quick.
- They could provide better support when needed.
