We use WorkRamp for employee onboarding and continuous training. It allows us to consolidate our knowledge bank and organize it into bite-sized segments for our employees to consume at their own pace. It is very easy to use and create new training modules so the scope of business cases are truly limitless, given the flexibility of that platform.
  • Employee onboarding
  • Continuous Training
  • Ad Hoc Training Assignments
Cons
  • Tracking of progress completion glitches and doesn't accurately record the progress made when sessions time out
WorkRamp is well suited for Employee Onboarding, Continuous Training, and Ad Hoc training assignments. We specifically use it to roll out training on new products that roll out so that we don't tie up hours of people's time to meet in person and roll it out in a live setting.

  • WorkRamp has allowed us to roll out training, faster and more seamless
  • We can onboard employees faster
WorkRamp has allowed us to keep employees up to date on the most recent trainings so that the entire workforce is working on the same information. It has also allowed us to roll out that training on an ad hoc basis vs gathering everyone together for live training, which can be delayed with calendar conflicts.
WorkRamp has a very sophisticated solution that allows organizations to be nimble and flexible when it comes to rolling out training to employees. I like it for the ad hoc ability to move as fast as the organization needs to move.

Makes training and learning fun again!!

We use WorkRamp as a resource to create and hold all of our learning and training resources for certain departments in the company. WorkRamp alleviates the many links and websites we had to keep track of to find information throughout the departments and brought them all to one location which allows us easier assess to answer questions in the customer service department for me.
  • WorkRamp is very easy to read and maneuver the site.
  • WorkRamp allows you to upload or create learning resources very easily.
  • WorkRamp makes it very easy to find tagged information for different departments.
Cons
  • Auto tagging resources by keywords being used can be helpful to the party in charge of maintaining the information.
WorkRamp is extremely helpful for organizations that have a lot of training information and resources and may need an easy and accessible way to not only share this information but also monitor, test, and follow up with colleagues.
  • The amount of storage.
  • The ability to tag resources.

  • We are much more knowledgeable in our respective teams and across departments regarding what each team is working on or has control over.

Great employee onboarding tool

Rating: 9 out of 10
December 10, 2022
We use WorkRamp to educate our internal employees when they are new, and also for rolling out new features or training modules across the company. In addition, we also use it as an onboarding tool for our external partners. The main business problem we address is the onboarding process for new hires, but we also use it to educate existing employees from time to time.
  • Flow of information
  • Ease of use
  • Segmenting information
Cons
  • Searchability
  • Repeatability
WorkRamp is a great tool that is easy to use and manage. Especially for trainings that need to be done once it is easy to set them up and make them flow together, set out different topics, link to internal documents, etc. For trainings that you want people to be able to repeat or refer back to often, it is not the best solution. It's hard to go back and find a specific module or section of a module once you have completed it unless you know exactly where to look.
  • Ease of use
  • Training reminders
  • Segmentation for different teams

  • Increased knowledge for employees
  • Shared knowledge for partners
  • Quicker onboarding
WorkRamp was a bit easier to set up than SkillHar or Guru, but I do think that each has their own unique benefits. Guru is more about knowledge sharing among peers and users can add their own notes and make their own new notecards. With WorkRamp everything is controlled and set up by the admins. SkillJar has better repeatability for annual trainings or compliance training in my opinion.

We use WorkRamp to onboard new employees, train sales reps on sales plays, and use the platform for continued education.
  • Customer service.
  • Drag-and-drop course creation.
  • Great UX/UI for both users and admin.
  • Salesforce integration.
Cons
  • Reporting.
  • Automation.
WorkRamp is great for any team that requires any sort of training - whether that's in onboarding or continued education. It's also especially helpful for teams that don't have an instructional designer or don't have a lot of time to spend on building courses. WorkRamp makes it easy!
  • Access to learning based on user groups.
  • Great customer service.
  • Consistent improvement in product and roadmap.
  • Quizzing and certification.
