I participated on the creation of request forms that I work on, it is a bit easy but the problem is that other creators put a lot of field on the forms that it is cumbersome for the requestors to fill them out. I also participated in the creation of an intranet page promoting request forms made in wrike.

Implementing Wrike was easy (from the software side). The platform is easily formatted to do what you want. Most of our framework was built during the free trial period, which just shows how easy it is to setup. The difficulty in using the software came in changing people's personal workflow. We did utilize Wrike's consulting team to help with the implementation, and this was helpful for 2 main reasons: 1) to get buy-in from the team (they're more likely to listen to a consultant vs. an internal employee when changing). 2) for answering specific use-case questions. After the consulting, Wrike has an awesome community that will help solve more general problems.

There are a lot of bells and whistles in Wrike, and not all of it is easy or intuitive to understand once it's plopped in your lap. It's easier when there are a few choice people who understand Wrike as a platform and articulate it in such a way where it makes it easy to pass it along to others in the group.

Clearly define your goals. What are you hoping to achieve with this tool? How will you measure success? Having a clear understanding of your goals will help ensure a successful implementation. Get buy-in from stakeholders. This will help ensure that everyone is on board with the tool and willing to use it. Develop a training plan. Start small. Don't try to implement Wrike across your entire organisation all at once. Start with a small team or project and gradually expand from there. Customise to fit your needs. Wrike is a highly customisable tool, so take the time to customise it to fit your specific needs and workflows.

I would give it a 9 at this point, but it is still ongoing. 2 of the main teams in our organization have been using the software for about a year now with some growing pains, as is expected. We hope to be fully functional by summer. The support from Wrike has been great at helping us get going and answering questions.

While there is a learning curve with Wrike, implementation was on par with experiences we have had with other services. We started out by using basic features that were easy to scale and satisfied our immediate needs. Then we gradually implemented more advanced features.

It was important to plan wrike release activities within our company. This has allowed us to monitor the advantages and optimizations that the software has brought. Our approach has been to activate wrike in 2 business areas to start managing tasks and workflows. We are now evaluating the next steps, buying more licenses for other business areas.

Unfortunately, the implementation of Wrike was the reason why it didn't succeed at our company (we will likely be switching services midyear). It was originally slated to be a company-wide adoption but was immediately more useful to our creative team than our sales, engineering, or other project-based teams. Perhaps it was the fact that it seemed like processes outside of the average marketing team project needed custom workflows built, and we didn't have a dedicated employee who was implementing the system. In fact, now that I'm thinking about it more, that was a serious oversight: no dedicated, project-manager-like employee was heading the charge of rollout. Instead, the implementation was a bit of a wild-west, individual affair, so the marketing team ended up primarily using the software.

Wrike worked very closely with us during implementation. Training was intense but they were there to answer all questions throughout the implementation phase. They listened and provided solutions to all of our issues and questions. They also assisted with training our team, which was a huge step in why we have such a high current adoption rate.

The implementation could have gone better if we did our homework first. Wrike has so much capability and features. I felt that if we had a better idea on what we needed and what we wanted to do, we would have gotten more out of the implementation / consultant meetings in the beginning. As it was it ended up that a lot of it we had to learn along the way as we grew as a company. Best advice I can give is organise your PMO / internal processes fist, then go into Wrike. Wrike will not fix your processes for you.
