We use Wrike across department to get asks, or creative tasks done across the company. This makes it easier for the creative team and marketing teams to track what tasks are needed, but reaching everyone's skill set in order to see the progress of a completed task at hand. Wrike brings it all together in one place collectively and makes it easy to fill out details at hand and the status of a task or sub task.
  • Organization and Collective Viewing of a Project
  • Simple, clean, UI, Interface, ease of use to the user
  • Email Notifications for new tasks involved in, mentions, etc
  • Dashboard viewing and easy to view notification and to do list area
  • Less cluttered viewing and layout for some drop downs when projects are task heavy
  • Notification organization when tags or mentions happen
  • Use for more plug ins, integrations
Wrike is a great project management platform and I have enjoyed using it once I got use to how the platform runs. I do think it is easy for some items to get lost in translation since there is a few areas where tasks and data lives.

We used Wrike to manage projects, assign deadlines for completion and keep track of progress. <br>During meetings, we could see the status of all projects and check for timely completion of assignments. <br>The Gantt chart is particularly useful for this purpose. <br>The function to add recurring tasks or program reminders also was tremendously helpful.
  • Tracking progress
  • Comparing between projects
  • Programing activities
  • Creating more interactive displays
  • Using AI tools to find information (specifications, data)
  • Set goals for completion for each person's assignments
Wrike works very well when a dedicated person or team are managing projects, but when there's no direct human supervision it could become hard to follow.
Data presentation on Gantt charts is a great feature, didn't dwell much more to see if there were alternative ways to present data in Wrike.

I use Wrike for project management, the Gantt chart is my favorite feature though I feel it could be more user friendly. For example, I used Wrike to manage a large 300 person anniversary party.
  • Has a desktop app and not just the browser
  • Cross Tagging for tasks that relate to multiple aspects of a project
  • Adding documents for easy reference
  • Gantt Charts are hard to use and should not have to be color coded by workflow step
  • Users should be able to create their own workflows for personal projects, especially if the Gantt chart is dependent on them
  • We need a feature to auto-assign each created task to yourself
  • Wrike seems good for managing projects cross-department but using Wrike for personal projects is bulky and complicated
I would recommend Wrike to colleagues that want a lot of features. It is a very powerful too, though sometimes the added power comes with added confusion / complication.

Project and task management, we use Wrike to connect stakeholders, requestors and creators. We also use it recieve different project request through an intranet page.
  • Project request
  • Time management
  • Reporting
  • Project tracking
  • User interface, can be cleaner
  • cleaner and more intuitive URL
  • Project codenames thru query string eg. EM-2042
  • User centered dashboard, e.g. highlighting projects that are overdue etc.
If a team has at least 8 members with fast paced tasks/projects. Wrike can organize them by providing project tracking for each member and report to the manager as well. Managers can also do a single click follow up. or (bump up) task.

It is less appropriate to use for regular and recurring tasks, however, it is good to have a feature having this, for example, bi monthly newsletters every 1st and 15th. Wrike would notify stakeholders to provide materials, while creators will be provided a preview.

The marketing department uses Wrike to facilitate the project intake for all types of marketing collaterals -- from print to digital. We have also utilized it as a ticketing services for internal users to fill out forms to request or report concerns to route it correctly to the right team. For the digital content marketing group which I belong to, we use to to work across creative, UX, SEO, and publishing teams.
  • Allow people to collaborate on a single file and see previous comments / versions
  • Create breakdown of tasks in a project
  • Create request forms that slot into existing project templates to save us time.
  • Integration with other tools like smartsheets or Jira
  • Turn on specification notifications for projects
  • Separate notifications (inbox, approvals)
  • Org Charts or at least see what team a person belongs to
Most of my work revolves around publishing on our company website, and Wrike works for me in this scenario since we are able to collaborate on changes with screenshots, attach images, etc. It's easy for simple requests and approval to publish. It gets tricky when there is a request to develop something new and we have to open another platform where we put the same details in.

We use Wrike to Assign tasks from the creation of the Manufacturing Project to the design of the Customer Project, passed to the purchasing team, where they order the materials, to the receiving and shipping departments, then passed onto the manufacturing team, where we take the project information and verify the information, all the way to the completion of the project. It's extremely helpful to the entire company and allows each team to complete their own tasks involved with each individual project. When I use Wrike, I look at the Data files that are provided with the associated project, and then verify any notes provided by the teams that have previously written on the Task provided.
  • Wrike has been consistent in emailing any updates or changes to each person involved in each task.
  • Wrike has a simple to navigate website, with quick access to each task.
  • Wrike keeps all data files located at the top of the task for quick reference, which makes it easier for each team member to find.
  • Wrike adds date tags as well as any edited or deleted notes where we are able to cross-reference any major changes that may have been made.
  • I do wish we could have a silencing feature for Wrike tasks, since some of our team members who may be assigned tasks are unable to mark as complete even when they may be completed since it could affect many teams if other team members still their own tasks involved with the associated project that may be incomplete.
  • I do wish that the Wrike search bar would allow for a quick view, since some of our project names are long or similar in name, so having to type out the Wrike task and then returning to the previous page just to search again can be time-consuming.
  • I would also like to have a quick download button with data files since I tend to have to open a data file and download it from a separate tab, which can add unnecessary time to our manufacturing process.
I have noticed that when using Wrike, we have been able to see when each team has completed their own individual work, which is very helpful, as well as being able to quickly verify the data files that have been uploaded to each task. However, when we have tasks that may be put on hold for a period of time due to supply chain issues, We are constantly bombarded with daily emails showing incompleted tasks even though it could be completed to the best of the ability of the individual. If I completed the task prematurely to silence that feature, it can confuse other teams, so we are left be reminded of a task that could be on hold for months.

I have been using Wrike as our project management software system used to coordinate marketing requests.
  • Management
  • Organization
  • Usability
  • Faster uploading and downloading of attachments
  • More user-friendly approver feature
  • Improve the comment box section
Wrike is well suited in its program management arrangement and workflow. It somehow needs improvement in terms of usability and more features.

We are administrating tasks, through them we set up time plans as Gant charts. We also visualize resource allocation via Wrike. Getting everyone onboard is a bit hard. People find Wrike's many functions a bit too much sometimes. The Gant charts was the thing that made me choose Wrike over Monday.

We also use the report function, and snapshot for sharing.

The biggest downside is the limitations for inviting client to participate, for instance creating tasks within specific projects.
  • Gant charts
  • providing lots of ways to view data
  • keeps me on track
  • client participation without hastle. Basecamp is much better here (or was at least)
  • The search should be able to to från every view
+planning resources.
+creating dependencies between tasks
+Discussing a task and handling the responsibility over to other people
+filters are the best, just being able to se what I need Is great

-the notifications are a bit too much for some People
-maybe an option to turn on a simple view could be nice
-a function where an assigned person is not able to see the that he/she is assigned until all planning is done (take some stress of people)

I receive design tasks from companies that I contract with. The biggest problem it solves is having to attend only a few meetings. Everything I need to complete the jobs is in Wrike (time tracking, deliverables, revisions.) I currently work with six different properties that assign tasks for me. I spend about an hour in weekly meetings, allowing me to be creative and get work done.
  • Clean Interface
  • Easy Collaboration
  • Mobile App Experience
  • Easy Time Tracking
  • Dashboards
  • Dark Mode for Desktop
  • File action button placement when in full screen.
  • Search results
It's well suited when working remotely and juggling several properties. It allows you to have a clear picture of your work day. A scenario where it doesn't work as well is for people that aren't as tech savvy and are forced to deal with people in person such as tech installation and quotes.

We extensively use Wrike to schedule our calendar for assignment and time off, also we record and track meetings and tasks progress. It is very helpful for productivity and project tracking. Our goal is to use Wrike to centralize all of our operation thus the whole team can focus on one place to keep goals and progress in one setting.
  • Task assignment
  • Keep track of progress
  • Communication
  • Ordering capability
  • Expense tracking and submission
Wrile is suited when we schedule our operation from travel to PTO. IT is also very helpful to create a group and assign tasks so the whole communication is in one place and follow up is easily done. The nice thing is a whole task can be tracked until completion, all in one place. For other task like sales orders expense tracking we have another system it would be nice to have all this in Wrike to avoid jumping from place to place.

I use it to manage and control the progress of the different tasks my area has to fulfill as well as to asign oa few other employees the tasks they need to fulfill to complete certain projects
  • assigning tasks to employees
  • the ability to create tasks and subtasks in orde to complete a project
  • general overview or projects and tasks
  • the possibility of linking projects not only tasks
  • the capability of adding reminders to tasks or projects not necessarily by assingning
  • due dates only
  • the capability of adding predecessor or successor tasks or projects without having to add due dates
It has helped me to take control of the different tasks and projects of the different areas I need to take care of, I think it would be nice if it wasn't mostly directed to creatives or web development kind of jobs

We actually used Wrike in a daily basis. This is our main project management tool. This helps us really manage our day to day routines between stakeholders.
  • Manage
  • Reporting
  • Project summary
  • Multiple choice of inbox for every request
  • Detailed training video for beginners
  • Up to date Wrike applications
  • Adaptive themes for dark mode
Wrike is well plotted by the developer. Managing multiple projects solves this tool and in multiple channels. What i do not recommend is the dark mode adaptability of the tool. Dark mode nowadays is needed, mostly in IT industry which are likely used to dark interfaces. This option make sense in a way to grab others attentions.

In Marketing, we use Wrike as our project management software. It's intuitive and customizable and lets everyone involved in the project know about the status of the project along with deadlines. Marketing managers assign both writing or editing and design elements in each request, and it's easy to follow the path of the project. We used to use SharePoint for this. Wrike is infinitely better and more helpful.
  • Keeps detailed timelines
  • Lets people divide projects into different parts (writing, design)
  • Notification system is outstanding. You get notified via your work email when there's a status update as well as in the app. It's impossible to miss an update.
  • Everyone hates the "rejected" status. There has to be a better word without such a negative connotation.
  • Too many options for customization at some times. It's difficult to figure out what features do and if you actually need them.
  • Multiple notifications can be overwhelming.
It's a perfect system for assigning projects with multiple components involving different people. Everyone knows the status of the project at every step.

This might just be in our office, but if a marketing manager needs me to proof something in a hurry, it would be easier for them to just email it to me so I can get on it rather than having to enter everything in Wrike.

We use Wrike for all project management that span multiple departments and then for personal tracking of projects and to dos.
  • Reminder Feature
  • Ability to assign items to other people
  • Board view within the view options
  • The interface is not intuitive. Trying to navigate the toolbars on the left side, based on project or department is difficult.
  • The hierarchy for the company projects is cumbersome and hard to determine what is a task and what is a larger project, and what are subtasks.
  • I don't like the name. It pronounces like Reich, which has such a bad connotation.
We have had Wrike for several years. Granted I don't use it on a daily basis, but even when I do try and engage with it, I cannot understand the layout or hierarchy. it's not intuitive for a new users. It's just easier for me with smaller projects to use One Note or something similar to collaborate. Also, due to HIPAA requirements restrictions, we are unable to upload documentation into your platform, which can be a hindrance.

We use it to create tasks and bugs for developers to implement. Our product managers and support teams create these tasks and put them in the back log. The product manager then gives them priorities and assigns them to the developers to work on. The developers work on them while leaving any questions they need answered in the comments section. They move the task along the pipeline as it gets worked on, reviewed, then released.
  • Tracks task history
  • Integrates with GitHub
  • Allows for customizations
  • Speed of application
  • Organization (finding specific tasks can be difficult)
  • Needs better integration with GitHub
As a developer we obviously work with a lot of code. Wrike would be far useful being able to reference that code in GitHub. It also was very confusing and hard to navigate. Issues feel like they're all over the place. On the other hand product and customer service seemed to really love using it.

My team and I use Wrike to manage all phases of our projects. From sales entering in a design request first and all the way through to production. Wrike ensures that each phase of a project gets done efficiently and in a timely manner. We use Wrike to also communicate between departments to stay updated on what the next steps will be for a project.
  • Project management
  • Document sharing
  • Communication between departments within the company
  • Searching for past tasks is difficult
  • Setting due dates is a bit confusing
  • Email preferences
Wrike is excellent for sharing documents for review internally within the company. We use it often for quote reviews which helps streamline the process. Wrike can be annoying when you been mentioned one time in a project, let's say by accident, and then you are kind of stuck receiving notifications on the task until it is complete.

[...] uses Wrike to support project management--this includes subtasks, deadlines and assigning personnel. It helps with workflow so nothing is dropped or missed, regardless of the size of the task or project. I use Wrike daily across a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Easy interface makes finding and processing tasks and timelines easy.
  • Notification settings allow for various levels of alerts, etc.
  • Easy to develop tasks, subfolder, assign people.
  • It's easy to overload Wrike with folders and tasks, it would be nice for it to be more organizable with files.
  • At times it can be hard to locate older items/projects.

We tried a few products before we ended up with Wrike. The reason we ended up using Wrike was mainly because of its ease of use, and for us, a lot of features as well as how to set up projects, tasks, and so on, made so much sense. Having over 400 clients was not a problem at all, and assigning tasks and projects to different team members was a breeze. Our use case was mostly to keep track of what needed to be done as well as what had been done for our different clients. Working with SEO made it easy to keep track of changes being made to clients to keep track of what moved the needle and what didn’t. Having everything that had been done for each month and client also made it very easy to create a report for the client showing what we had been working on. If you are a solopreneur working for yourself, then maybe there are other tools out there for free that might get the work done, but for teams, Wrike gets my highest recommendations!
  • Set up
  • Ease of use
  • UI & UX
  • Having a better option for soloprenuer and freelancers working for themselves
  • Faster support response time
It’s well suited for teams of at least 5 people where you can get a lot of great features for a competitive price, and it’s less suited for solopreneurs and freelancers when you have a lot of projects going on, and you might have to get on a bigger plan with features you don’t really need when all you need are to be able to create more projects since you might have a lot of clients you are doing work for.

  • Provide an easy way to tag other contributors and involve them in messaging
  • user friendly interface
  • I feel like I get too many email alerts from my team but that's not a Wrike problem. it's a team problem.

We are an advertising agency located in Guatemala City, and we utilize Wrike to efficiently manage the operations of our creative, media, and account departments. Wrike serves as our central platform for organizing client requests, tracking the status of each task, and providing an accurate estimate of the time allocated to each project. With our rapid team expansion, maintaining comprehensive oversight of our work has become imperative.
  • Task or project status
  • Time control
  • Record of every step of the tasks
  • Comparison of images to visualize changes
  • Time control for people outside the team
  • The privacy control of guests could be more intuitive
  • If the creator of the task is not assigned to it, the @asignees tag won't send a notification to them
Wrike is a highly comprehensive tool, but its learning curve can be steep. Many of its features are excellent, and the user experience would greatly benefit from increased intuitiveness. The platform performs notably better in its web-based or desktop application format. The mobile app offers limited functionalities; for instance, it does not support video downloads to the device, which is essential when working remotely.

Wrike is the all-in-one project management and collaboration tool that we use on each assignment, from start to finish. It allows all the assignees to collaborate in a sleek/efficient way—communication, sharing files, noting revisions, and changing the status as we go. Whether working from the desktop app or mobile app, each is equally effective. I've used other products in the past, but this one is the most intuitive.
  • Proofing and Commenting on Shared Files
  • Sleek Apps for Desktop and Mobile
  • Team Coordination and Communication
  • Free Plan is Quite Basic
  • Needs a Chat Option
  • Email Notifications Somewhat Delayed
In the fast-paced world of social media posting, content is key. Not only does the content need to be designed and conceptualized, but it also needs to be planned out well in advance. Wrike has allowed us to do all of this, with seamless team collaboration on each specific assignment.

We primarily use Wrike for day to day task management. Our biggest use case is processing deliverable requests and ensuring they are moving through the pipeline correctly with the correct labor assigned. To do this we leverage Wrike's request forms, custom fields and dashboards. Additional we generate weekly reports on these deliverables.
  • Task Management
  • Dashboards
  • Reports
  • The current update to Dashboards is clunky.
  • Adding additional logic to the request forms.
  • Simplification of visuals.
Wrike is well suited for traditional project management operations. Anything you would do in Jira, Asana or Monday can be executed in Wrike. It's great for ensuring items move through the pipeline. Its direct data visualization can be a bit clunky and occasionally you will hit odd logical flows or find you are not able to do something in the way that seems intuitive.

The client has the ability to update the Wrike tasks and completing the assignments they've done and any comments they've made. Wrike also helps us organize internally exactly what needs to be done throughout a project and we can see who the tasks are assigned to and what date they need to be completed by.

Wrike also helps us organize our daily/weekly work so our entire team can see what everyone is working on.
