  • Has a desktop app and not just the browser
  • Cross Tagging for tasks that relate to multiple aspects of a project
  • Adding documents for easy reference
  • Gantt Charts are hard to use and should not have to be color coded by workflow step
  • Users should be able to create their own workflows for personal projects, especially if the Gantt chart is dependent on them
  • We need a feature to auto-assign each created task to yourself
  • Wrike seems good for managing projects cross-department but using Wrike for personal projects is bulky and complicated

Useful and Easy

  • Wrike has been consistent in emailing any updates or changes to each person involved in each task.
  • Wrike has a simple to navigate website, with quick access to each task.
  • Wrike keeps all data files located at the top of the task for quick reference, which makes it easier for each team member to find.
  • Wrike adds date tags as well as any edited or deleted notes where we are able to cross-reference any major changes that may have been made.
  • I do wish we could have a silencing feature for Wrike tasks, since some of our team members who may be assigned tasks are unable to mark as complete even when they may be completed since it could affect many teams if other team members still their own tasks involved with the associated project that may be incomplete.
  • I do wish that the Wrike search bar would allow for a quick view, since some of our project names are long or similar in name, so having to type out the Wrike task and then returning to the previous page just to search again can be time-consuming.
  • I would also like to have a quick download button with data files since I tend to have to open a data file and download it from a separate tab, which can add unnecessary time to our manufacturing process.

  • Keeps detailed timelines
  • Lets people divide projects into different parts (writing, design)
  • Notification system is outstanding. You get notified via your work email when there's a status update as well as in the app. It's impossible to miss an update.
  • Everyone hates the "rejected" status. There has to be a better word without such a negative connotation.
  • Too many options for customization at some times. It's difficult to figure out what features do and if you actually need them.
  • Multiple notifications can be overwhelming.

  • The interface is not intuitive. Trying to navigate the toolbars on the left side, based on project or department is difficult.
  • The hierarchy for the company projects is cumbersome and hard to determine what is a task and what is a larger project, and what are subtasks.
  • I don't like the name. It pronounces like Reich, which has such a bad connotation.
