Zenefits

We selected Zenefits because of good sales pitched and touted integrations and it turned out we had no after sale support nor integration were straight forward.

This is very user friendly and does well

I love how easy it is to run payroll with zenefits. Having close to 300 employees can make it a challenging task, but the software is so user friendly that uploading it all is a breeze and then all deductions, contributions, taxes, etc. is taken care of from there! Plus having the "full service" option for them to take care of our unemployment insurance for all employees - including those in multiple states is amazing. I have seen reviews criticizing the customer service, but that's never been an issue for me. Timely responses and helpful people are all I have experienced with Zenefits.

Easier to use and more modern. Everything on Zenefits is quick and easy to access, if I can't figure something out or have any questions I can call the help desk and I get a real person to help me navigate where I need to go and what I need to do.

Zenefits is much more user friendly than paychex was.

Compared to my past experiences, Zenefits is hands down the best format. It is much easier to understand and navigate.

I have not used any other products similar to Zenefits.

I have only used Zenefits within the last couple of years. I don't remember the other platforms that we used back in the day. I will tell you this, Zenefits is the only platform I want to use currently and moving forward. This platform is very user-friendly and I don't plan on leaving.

My last job had something similar to Zenefits but it functioned very poorly - half the time it was so glitchy and you weren't able to log in correctly or the screen would be white. My experience with Zenefits has been night and day in comparison because I can actually retrieve payment info and benefits.

I have never used a platform similar to Zenefits. I worked at Lifetime and they had developed their own platform but it wasn't user-friendly and we didn't have access to an app on our own device if you weren't a hiring manager. I prefer Zenefits because it enables you to check how many hours/ how much PTO you have taken versus asking your direct manager or the HR manager. In addition, you don't have to jump through hoops to find out your insurance benefits. It is easily displayed.

The employee site is much more intuitive and easier to navigate. The Paychex Flex site is overly complicated with extra steps.

I have only used Gusto as an employee, not an administrator. I found both Zenefits and Gusto to be user-friendly and easy from the employee perspective. Ultimately, as an administrator, I went with Zenefits because they offer a discount for nonprofit organizations.

Well organized, quicker in responses I just really like the overall of Zenefits.

Zenefits beats both these products for my organization because Zenefits streamlines processes, offers state of the art functionality for my organization, and is user friendly for my employers. The other two products, although good, are archaic in design and difficult for employees to navigate.

We haven't had to look for anything else because we're happy with Zenefits.

Cost and ease of use were our main attractions for Zenefits.

Both Paychex and ADP are great payroll companies. However, its' bells and whistles are not always needed for a smaller company. Zenefits offers just the right amount of service and at a better value.

When we were considering HR software back in 2015, we set up demos and reviewed many different options, but based upon the needs of our company Zenefits was the best choice with where our company was at the time and it offered the flexibility using customization for where we saw our company heading in the future.

Gusto has the all in one features that are unbeatable! Paychex was payroll only, we then moved to Gusto... it did not go well...

Zenefits is my favorite payroll provider. I have used them all (ADP, Zenefits, Gusto, Intuit Payroll etc etc) and none compare in terms of features and price.

I had a previous experience with Zenefits and their onboarding team was fantastic. Also more affordable than QBO.

Love the UX of Zenefits, and the pricing was very fair.

They are very similar, although Zenefits is more user friendly.
