Our organization uses Zoho CRM to organize and track all of our clients' information. We use the task features to ensure prompt follow-up. We've run into some troubles with lead imports from various 3rd party apps, like Shopify, and have been manually importing them which wastes a lot of time. There also doesn't seem to be a way to configure IMAP settings for shared mailboxes, which is a shame.
  • Activities
  • Easy to navigate
  • Customizable
Cons
  • IMAP for shared mailboxes.
  • More tools for lead importing.
  • Ability to auto pull information from Contact when creating a deal.
We've opened several cases with Zoho CRM support to mediate the issue we've been having with our Shopify leads. It might fix for a day or so, but the connection is broken quickly. This has caused us to have to manually import our Leads, which is very time-consuming. We do like Zoho CRM's task functions- it's helpful to keep up with our client's projects in a timely manner.

I used Zoho in reimbursing my travel expenses and requesting for office supplies. It allowed me to organize my receipts separating meals and transportation expenses helping me file and save digital copies. Submitting to the office was much easier rather than the old ways of pasting each receipt in a bond paper manually.
  • providing updates on the status of my reimbursement
  • taking digital copies of receipts using mobile phone
  • automated calculations of all expenses
Cons
  • the scanning of photos does not work when used as automatic
  • the 2 factor authentication is a nightmare when you forget your password
  • had a hard time to change my mobile number listed on my account
Zoho CRM is well suited in managing business expenses where you need to keep track of all your receipts to be submitted to the office for reimbursement. It does have challenges when you are attaching photos of your receipt. Also, when doing performance review, it is not that user friendly when it comes to navigation and approvals.

Currently, I use CRM to develop new Products, enlist them with a price a track all the activities related to the product created, like how many products have been sold and what could be a potential customer from our database for the product. It helps by having a record of how good a specific product is performing and how much it represents in [sales] among the rest.
  • Organizes importan information accordingly.
  • Provides tools for product listing.
  • Allow a proper follow up of the performance a specific product has.
Cons
  • Better flexibility to work with the API.
  • Additional options that allow the creation of custom rules.
  • Reporting is very complex and not clear.
Zoho CRM is useful as a good and basic CRM. It has all the main features that are necessary for a CRM to be useful for a business. It has a lot of tools that allow us to track, record, and observe the impact our decisions have on the company. However, Zoho CRM lacks some specific features like the possibility of working with some key elements on the API in order to develop more specific reports. Also, it is very difficult to work with different currencies and convert them to a single one.

Very happy user!

Primarily CRM via sales progression tracking but also use the proposal system.
  • Customizable
  • Integrates easily into our process
  • Scalable.
Cons
  • Would like a simple activity tracking that includes phone calls and emails as prospecting actions.
Very suitable for fixed processes that have repeatable activities and products. Little more complicated for those the are more diverse and have exceptions to quotes.

  • Reaching customers
  • Increase customer communication
  • Better efficiency
  • Streamlined the process
  • Great follow up
Cons
  • Need improvement in tutorials
  • Some products need polishing
  • AI Assistant is not of much use
  • Confusing videos
  • Support shd be faster
For small businesses, it offers all tools to manage lead effectively. It gives a great combination of manual plus automatic and it is quite reliable for small businesses. Well suited for small businesses and new startups but not great for well-developed businesses.
