We recently started using Zoho recruit for all of our applicant/candidate requirements and its been fantastic. The interface is excellent and really easy to use. I love that I can just upload an excel file of candidates and it can parse all of that data to automatically create the candidate details inside the system. We also use its integration with ZipRecruiter and Monster for candidate searches. I also liked that the hiring pipeline was very customizable so we could use it to fit our use case specifically.
  • Great integrations. Works with multiple job boards.
  • Very good import capability, can parse data from our uploads in excel format.
  • Clean interface, it didnt take us long to learn how to use it.
  • Very customizable. You can set it up to work the way you want it to.
  • I can never get the mobile app to work properly, it just crashes constantly on my Android
  • Sometimes one of my integration will stop working and I will have to disconnect and reconnect.
The pricing makes it suitable for teams of all sizes. So if you are in the recruitment business and want to upgrade from Google sheets or excel to track and manage candidates, this is an excellent option. The free version/trial is also very viable and I would recommend you try that before you commit. But really the pricing alone makes it work for teams of all sizes.

My business locates Natural Gas for all of the north western portion of Indiana probably about a 3 hour x 3 hours driving distance span and only have 1 HQ office and 1 in construction spaced out to support our company. With that comes the complications of having to hire people hours away from us that will be reliable and able to perform their job duties in their area of the state without meeting with other employees face to face for days to weeks. Since we are not able to travel most of our applicants due to this using this software allows us to pull applications from all the cities hours away that are expanding and sort and borrow down a select list for each location based on skills and key component's that we select AND it even streamlines the process by after they are selected then going ahead and helping both us and them connect, set up and interview, and even onto the hiring process all in one package without even needing to meet face to face or worry about making appointments and taking extra company time to do a lot of the hiring process.
  • Having both ATS & CRM in the same software allowing hiring professionals to make it more personal while allowing them to fully guide every step.
  • Modest pricing great for smaller growing businesses to begin with especially with a free version that provides more than what a lot of others provide without paying extra.
  • Zoho is known for top notch support and customer service especially after their explosion in 2016. They also provide 24/5 customer support for any shift at any company Monday - Friday.
  • The software is very small business friendly considering other alternatives however, even for enterprises that can afford their higher tiers they bring a substantial amount of add-ons for aswell.
  • The amount of storage available for the software in the free version can be very limiting especially for a business that's needing to grow but hasent chosen to pay for a software yet or is simply trying to see what software will scale best with their business it really.limits that ability.
  • Having to pay extra for specific add-ons even with some of their paid tier's such as mass emails, API calls, or a designated client portal is kind of a let down. However, with a software that streamlines from beginning to end in one package I understand their decision for that.
  • There are some aspects of the software such as the career site for your employees that is not available or only has limited features based on the paid level that you currently have. This is disappointing to me due to the amount of add-ons that have to be paid for even if your an enterprise with their highest paid tier, I feel they could integrate some of those add-ons in exchange for allowing lower level tiers to be able to have full access to those certain features of the sites.
With the business I am in I have to be able to search and reach potential candidates from hours away due to the scope of the contract we have covering a solid couple hundred sq. miles of the state; so being able to have a software that can search, sort, rank, and suggest candidates without having to spend ours of time or driving hours for an interview I can connect with one person and make a decision and have the software there for them and send an email or two with the steps and instructions and 5 minutes later be doing the same for another candidate hours away without even needing to leave the office or even from home and knowing that I'm able to monitor and adjust the steps or make adjustments along the way and being able to trust that it is choosing quality candidates and able to help me hire the right people to do my job to keep my contractors and homeowners safe is amazing for our business.

Zoho Recruit is the best ATS platform developed for mid and small-sized companies. It will help us to source candidates from all integrated platforms and track and hire the best candidates. You can customize everything in Zoho as per your convenience, and you can get reports for everything.
  • CRM
  • Emailing
  • Inbound Marketing tools.
  • Invoicing tools.
  • Support is not that much good.
  • It's not too much mobile friendly.
Whenever we can get any requirement, it will get posted on the connected job websites automatically. It's easy for us to Manage all the applicants from one system. We can shortlist and schedule the interviews for the best candidates. And Onboarding is also done using the Zoho Recruit platform. It's the best platform for us, and we love it.

We used Zoho Recruit primarily to automate all recruitment processes, data management, candidates, and employee profile management. It was really useful as we worked with employees worldwide, and we had a lot of profiles, CVs, test documents, and others that were managed with automatization. We had no cooperation with any recruiting agencies and used our own HR department, so Zoho Recruit was easy to implement and to use with high efficiency.
  • Find potential candidates.
  • Automatization of HR management.
  • Data collection and featuring according to our parameters.
  • Ukrainian language was not available.
  • Everything else was well-done.
  • Anything to add.
As we were an IT digital marketing company, we had rather quick growth, and our HR department was searching for different types of employees. For us, Zoho Recruit was useful for declining irrelevant candidates without spending time with HR managers; everything was made automatically. That was very useful as there was no need to look into irrelevant candidates' CVs.

We use Zoho Recruit as our standalone ATS/CRM for both business development, client management and everything candidate related. Zoho Recruit takes care of everything for us in a nice, neat package that also happens to be cost effective.
  • Cost Effective
  • User Friendly
  • Robust
  • Interface can be a bit clunky
  • Wish some reporting tools were more robust
Zoho Recruit isn't as well suited as say Loxo which has a little bit more robust candidate management tools and is more user friendly. Zoho Recruit however is very well suited in terms of cost effectiveness. It's very difficult to beat the price point.

Excellent Recruiting Software Zoho Recruit meets our recruiting needs in a very unique way. We were able to customize the features the way we want and it automates processes for the organization. It's very easy. It navigates well. Self-explanatory. Even for a computer dummy. It would be perfect if a Romanian translation was available.

Zoho Recruit is currently being used by our recruiting and sourcing team. Zoho Recruit allows us to track our client activity, post jobs, manage candidates, manage our recruiting workflow, the source for top talent and keep track of all of our job openings, in one place. We benefit from using Zoho because they offer unlimited job postings (for example, if we have the same job posting in multiple cities, with Zoho Recruit we can post each role individually).
  • Allows for unlimited job postings. While there may be other bells & whistles with other ATS's, we've stayed with Zoho Recruit for this top reason- we can post as many jobs as needed, at the same time. No need for reshuffling job postings. This saves us a lot of time.
  • Manages the staffing agency workflow process. Where staffing agencies differ from HR Team, Zoho Recruits' staffing agency technology allows us to jump right into managing our workflow with a technology that is already set up to support how we need to do this.
  • Connecting clients to candidates, managing emails, scheduling interviews - all in on place. We have the capability to use the software in a way where we don't need to work outside of it- from posting the job to managing the offer details, we can do all of it in ZohoRecruit.
  • Integrations- Zoho Recruit does work to add on additional integrations with job boards, etc.
  • User Interface - It's a bit outdated, and can use significant refreshing. Having the ability to train our new team members on an easier-to-use UI would save us a lot of time. Although Zoho adds on new features, their UI isn't the best to work with.
  • Career Site - Very limited. Without having to hire a developer, the average user is stuck with the limited functionalities of Zoho Recruit's career site. There is no option for our candidates to sort through jobs, we have limited UI control on the layout experience, no room for video, etc.
  • Mobile app- The app has very limited functionality and does not allow us to manage the entire recruiting process via mobile. And at times it crashes or freezes.
Zoho Recruit is great for a startup or small businesses that need a low-cost way to manage the recruiting process. It allows the users to do about everything within the system, and, because of Zoho's other products, can easily be integrated with their CMS, etc. If you have a lot of job openings to post all at one time, Zoho Recruit is #1.

Zoho Recruit may not be the best for larger agencies or a team with employees that rely heavily on mobile to manage their recruiting process. The app has very limited functionality, and the desktop site is not up to date with its responsiveness and user-friendly options.

We love using Zoho Recruit because it integrates perfectly with other Zoho products and is super easy to use. Because most of our team uses other Zoho products, they also use Recruit and were able to pick up this tool relatively easily since it is very intuitive like most other Zoho products.
  • Intuitive to use - things are easy to find and to make sense of.
  • The pricing is fair.
  • Integrates with other Zoho products.
  • Support could be better for this product.
  • Mobile system needs to be improved.
  • More ways to be able to visualize the pipelines.
Definitely a great product if you use other Zoho products. If not, there may be better options out there for you to use. Either way, I would still recommend this product.

Zoho Recruit is a platform used to help get job applicants. Usually it's tiered to small/medium size businesses or organizations but within our large organization (10,000 + employees) we found use for this tool within different divisions as it's easy to use, has a great user interface, and has allowed for our process for recruiting to really be streamlined.
  • Very simple user-interface.
  • Database management is well organized.
  • Background screening is key.
  • Applicant tracking is great.
  • Lack of external facing customer portals.
  • More elaborate customization of pipelines.
  • Greater range of email templates.
It's a great tool to accomplished your ABC's of recruiting and candidate tracking. The user interface has helped many divisions utilize the tool which has not been a negative change management experience, and the cost is affordable and well priced for the tools you're receiving. Zoho Recruit's customer support is also fantastic which helped a lot in our configuration process.

The Human Resources team use it to manage the whole recruitment process: adding candidates, scheduling interviews, uploading files pertinent to candidates such as curriculum vitae, and others, add notes, adding relationships to job openings, status follow-up, as well as adding some custom fields we use to register test results and psychometric evaluations.
  • workflow management
  • database management
  • automation
  • there's too many modules/ functions
  • psychometric evaluations nor available
  • tech support
It is much easier to manage our recruitment process. It helps provide context and history to different people involved in the hiring of new employees, in a collaborative tool. It has helped us to streamline the process, keep everybody in check and most importantly have reports and accountability. We use several psychometric tests as part of the evaluation process, and for this we had to add some custom fields.

This is just one of the exemplary services that the Zoho suite has to offer us in terms of business management, which in this case, encompasses the direct administration of human resources operations. We liked Zoho Recruit very much because it synthesizes all the HR tools in a single software, with very high integration capabilities.
  • Like other HR-based services, Zoho Recruit allows you to track the behavior of candidates during the execution of your hiring process, so that you can create constant notes of any problems that may arise and that may prevent a proper job.
  • The relationship between employers and candidates can be measured, which is excellent for creating reports on the development of each hiring process, and employees can then be evaluated on their ability to manage and communicate correctly with each candidate under their direct care.
  • Hiring sessions can be recorded using a variety of methods. It does not necessarily have to be done using an audiovisual recording tool (which is possible through different integrations) but a convenient recording system that allows you to note down important data, and where even the candidate's photographs can be saved.
  • We believe that some features of Zoho Recruit's support service could be improved, although this is probably a general service by the Zoho team for all their programs. The staff is not sufficiently explanatory, and therefore we have not been able to meet our expectations for troubleshooting.
  • We like that using Zoho Recruit is so convenient, and that it interfaces well with the other services that the entire Zoho suite has to offer: Zoho Recruit is a good alternative for human resources, which shows a reliable and easy-to-manage operability, so that all registration and follow-up processes are simple.
  • Zoho Recruit has difficulty integrating with other services that are not directly part of the Zoho suite, which is demonstrated by wanting to use a funnel management based CRM to include employee information, and Zoho Recruit's platform not allowing it because it doesn't meet some integrations beyond their suite.
  • You can't create portals where people can post their resume and quick contact information, and this can be a bit limiting for those who directly need employees to send their information to an easily accessible service where it can be conveniently reviewed and separated from the rest.
  • In terms of deployment, Zoho Recruit does not have such good adaptability when working from mobile, as evidenced by its application tracking function with the mobile version of the Zoho Recruit website, which does not let you send direct messages to candidates because the platform is closed unexpectedly.
The scenario where Zoho Recruit could be much more exploitable would be where you have the other platforms that are in the Zoho suite, such as Zoho CRM, to be able to cover different areas of the same office work without having to buy another service. Likewise, being able to use it in conjunction with a CRM service, it is feasible that it can be used to cover the area of communication with customers, and that this serves to create evaluations of the treatment that employees offer them. When it comes to reporting incidents or behaviors, this is a very favorable possibility. With its self-service tools, employees can manage their time and attendance information on their own, since by means of an attendance reading tool, all the aforementioned information is kept secure and free from subsequent changes by employees once it has been updated.

Zoho Recruit is a very powerful tool for managing the end to end hiring process for our organization. It is being used by the HR and all the key heads of departments and CXOs. Zoho Recruit is also integrated with other Zoho products that we use in the company, hence other teams make use of the tool or some of its interconnected features too.
  • Managing interview candidate
  • Managing the evaluation process
  • Internal HR processes
  • Candidate / internal communication
  • Application tracking and shortlists
  • Limited customisation possibilities
  • Support could be better
  • UX could be better
It is best suited if you have Zoho suite of products being used in your company, this becomes a natural fit for you then. Otherwise too, it's a light and cheap product for a 1-2 member HR team, helps to save a lot of time and organizes things very well. It is less appropriate for a large organization where this needs to be shared with hundreds of employees as the cost increases then. Also, if you need the tool to find new relevant profiles or integrate with other third party CRM, then this might not be the right fit.

We use Zoho Recruit to track candidates, as an ATS, and to manage and schedule interviews. It solves the issue of having multiple places where these things are stored and helps us to stay organized by making sure everything is one place and there is no overlap. We just have a few people in our company who use this software and they are those who work in hiring and managers.
  • Background screening.
  • Applicant tracking.
  • Interview management.
  • Job board.
  • Scalable.
  • Billing.
Zoho Recruit is especially useful if you use other Zoho products. We use the CRM so the integrations make life a lot easier for us. If you do not use other Zoho products it may not be as necessary to use this software.

Zoho Recruit is working great to help with the onboarding management of applicants. We use it to recruit and manage job applicants. What makes it so nice is it simplifies the managing of the people, keeps everything in a central location and really helps us manage the job postings and applicants that come from it.
  • Pushing job postings to multiple sites.
  • Managing the applicants in a central location.
  • Helps with recruiting communications and tracking.
  • Great to track resumes submitted.
  • I wish this also had the ability to manage employees once they are hired.
Zoho Recruit is great for managing the job listing applicants and recruiting process. It has worked great as a software to manage the hiring process and tracking candidates in the hiring process. One other aspect we love is the integration with job boards makes it easy to publish a job listing to multiple sites.

We use Zoho Recruit to track applications and prospective new employees as well as to post new jobs. It is primarily used by our HR department although another large department that handles most of the process of hiring within their department uses it as well. It enables us to easily track and manage a prospective hire through the entire process as well as makes it easy to post new opportunities within our company.
  • Job posting
  • Tracking prospects
  • Managing the interviewing process between departments
  • Termination process tracking
  • Equipment issued
If you are looking for a complete hiring solution, this is well suited. However, it is less beneficial if you are looking for a complete HR package that handles all aspects of the HR department.

We use Zoho Recruit as an applicant tracking system. Our company does two things - hire entry-level business development reps and outside sales roles for our clients. Only the recruiting department uses Zoho Recruit (2 people). It is good for organizing candidates and making sure none slip through the cracks since it is such a high volume of candidates we're speaking with.
  • Easy-to-use interface.
  • Organizing applicants and candidates.
  • Reminding me to reach back out to candidates at a particular time.
  • Doesn't download every resume properly if it is weirdly formatted.
  • Hard to add a resume to current candidates.
  • I can set reminders, but it doesn't send me an email on it like ATS's I've used in the past.
Zoho Recruit is a great tool if you're dealing with a high volume of candidates. You can tag them, making it easier to find candidates with specific qualifications/talents. Even if a candidate isn't a good fit now, Zoho Recruit makes it easier to tag them in case a role in the future is a better fit. Because I talk with 70+ people a week, it is imperative to have an ATS. It wouldn't be appropriate if you weren't doing high-volume recruiting.

We use Zoho Recruit to share information across offices; we track candidate communication, resumes, client interaction and lists. The information is searchable - and we use the reporting tools to track metrics and create call lists. Additionally, saved searches allow for a quick call list to be generated when a new job order comes in.
  • Lists - can quickly generate lists based on criteria.
  • Saved documents - Zoho catalogs resumes and cover letters for easy retrieval with a date stamp on when they were received.
  • Being able to code candidates allows them to be searchable and listed by skill and location.
  • When searching for a name, it brings up much too broad of a list.
  • Adding candidates from LinkedIn sometimes has a lengthy delay and takes up to 2 minutes to be able to search from them, though I have found a workaround by navigating to the home page to find activity of adding a candidate.
  • Would be helpful if it were more intuitive with adding duplicates.
Its a solid ATS for a small firm with a few users, and it has great storage capacity. However, the upgrade as we grow is cumbersome. Deleting candidates that self add would be helpful as they fill up the storage.

As a small startup that is sourcing candidates across roles from various free and paid sites and sources, we needed an efficient tool that would help us track candidates through the recruiting process and also to prevent duplicates from multiple sources. While Excel does work, it is cumbersom to use in the long run, cannot be shared easily across multiple resources and does not have automated workflow rules. Zoho Recruit solves all these problems and then some.
  • Zoho Recruit provides automated workflows that be defined to trigger emails for changes in the pipeline stage of a candidate.
  • Zoho Recruit provides the ability to create email templates that can be triggered from the candidates profile without having to retype them.
  • Zoho Recruit enables resume parsing from doc, docx and pdf files which automates the data entry of candidates.
  • Zoho Recruit allows for the creation of a simple career website with the open job positions auto populating from the application onto the site.
  • Zoho Recruit allows for the creation of vendor portals enabling you to better manage the flow of resumes from recruiting vendors.
  • Zoho Recruit should allow for customization of pipelines based on department/role to be hired.
  • Zoho Recruit should allow for customization of the vendor portal allowing the vendor to type in key data points about candidate profiles that are typically not found on the resume, such as notice period, current salary and expected salary.
  • Zoho Recruit could simplify the blueprinting process built into the tool which allows for smooth flow of candidates through the system.
Zoho Recruit is well suited in situations where one has multiple sources of candidates applying for different jobs, as it allows you to keep track of progress across each source. It is also well suited for companies that are constantly hiring and need an efficient system that tracks candidates. Zoho is probably not well suited for someone looking for an absolutely free resource for their ATS, or anyone looking to hire less than 10 people over the next 1-2 years. Tranditional tools can serve the purpose better in those cases.

I’ve worked with Zoho Recruit for over a year and we are growing as a small business. This software allows us to show our vacancies within our business on social media and take possible candidates to fill vacancies as our needs began to grow. The business problems that it addresses are the vacancies open which we need to be filled with candidates that have a certain worker profile. It is mainly used by our IT department.
  • Easy to use and very intuitive to the user.
  • Very nice dashboard makes it easier for the user to make decisions.
  • The price is very affordable
  • Sometimes the integration with other software is suspended and connected again later.
  • The customize phase of the software should be easier.
  • The editing is still restrictive.
Zoho Recruit is a product that is well designed to open a database of all the vacancies of your small business. It is well suited for tracking your possible candidates who can apply through your social media interface. On the other hand, the pairing with your needs, editing your search needs and finding the final candidates could be tricky. Overall the product needs some work to be smooth.

  • Well-managed pipeline structure which helps to map the overall process of recruitment.

Being a small firm and starting up Zoho has allowed us to manage our database as it grows. From a free standpoint it is great to help mitigate the upfront cost to a startup like myself. The more I grow and use it the more it has to offer and feel, it is a perfect software to use in my industry.
  • Zoho's easy to use resume database and tracking system has helped manage a lot of data. Its ease of use and full function - I will need as I grow.
  • Job board posting and client track is another great feature. It truly allows me to go from first contact to hires using the system.
  • I will say the staff and support team have always been quick to reply and very helpful.
  • I think it's easy to use, but can be a bit daunting learning how to use it. I highly suggest reading all of the help links they offer to get used to the system.
Zoho can work for small and midsize businesses alike - there are plenty of functions and attachments. There is a lot we don't use yet, will in the future.

I like that you are able to use indeed and monster in the Zoho system.

We use Zoho Recruit to build applications for our training program and staff roles in our office, and to track applicants all the way through the application and on-boarding process. We also use Zoho People for personnel information, so we can easily transfer information from Recruit to People when an application is accepted.
  • It has been easy to set up and manage application forms and information forms for conferences and other recruiting events.
  • Forms are super customizable.
  • We have had some trouble recently migrating application information into Zoho People after applicants have been accepted, but customer support has been really helpful.
Zoho recruit has been really helpful in streamlining our recruiting processes. Now all of our applications forms have been built in Recruit, so all of the information we need about applicants is readily available, and we can easily track communication with applicants and where they are in the process as multiple people interact with them.

I have been a regular user of Zoho Recruit and it's a real life saver. As an HR professional it becomes difficult to keep track of interviews and candidates but with Zoho it is a very simplified process. Love how it works and how easy it is to set up. The email automation and the interview scheduling is the part that I like the most, as life has never been made so simple before. I'm surely going to be using Zoho Recruit forever - never switching to any other software. Thank you, Zoho.
  • The Email Automation is definitely the star of the software.
  • Workflow Automation makes manual work minimal.
  • Exporting resumes directly without manually having to add them is superb.
  • I really like how it works, but if we as the admin could get a notification of acceptance of the email by the candidate (or email tracking) it would be easier to understand if the candidates have checked our emails.
  1. Exporting resumes from various portals.
  2. Workflow automation is the best part of the software. Love how it works.
  3. System generated work reports of the day with the Resume count and the interview count.
  4. Adding users is very simple and the set up for them is easy to use as well.
  5. Scheduling interviews is a cakewalk. Very simple and requires minimal time.

We use Zoho recruit as out Application Candidate Tracking system here at Compustaff. We are a recruitment consultancy. It manages all our candidate interaction and indeed out work flow. We use it to import candidates into the system, we import their CV/resumes and manage the interaction with them through the complete hiring process.
  • Phrasing CVs/resumes well is critical. To key in all this information takes a long time, zoho recruit does it accurately and usually in less than 30 seconds.
  • Adding relevant notes on the fly is great, it's easy to do and easy to retrieve.
  • It's just so easy to use, it's great. No fancy frills, it just does everything well and and very quickly.
  • It's great value for money.
  • Perhaps I would like the dashboard to be a little easier to read, easier on the eye.
  • I would like to be easier to update data job data to social media sites.
  • More templates for standard emails, etc.
Zoho recruit is designed to assist the work flow for the hiring process, and it does this extremely well. When you want to import a new candidate, it's just a couple of clicks and all the necessary information is imported.
If you want to contact and interact with a candidate it is easier to do it through regular email rather than through the system.
