What is Zoho Sprints?

Zoho Sprints is a cloud-based collaborative project planning and tracking solution for agile teams, which offers drag-and-drop planning tools, Scrum boards, timers and timesheets, meeting scheduling, dashboards, reports, and a team activity feed. The software is designed to be used by teams of all sizes managing multiple projects, and offers native apps for iOS and Android.

Sprints includes a drag-and-drop planning center, which allows users to create sprints and backlog items, with user assignments, estimation points, and prioritization. The Scrum board visualizes all work for each sprint, giving all users insight into task progress. Work statuses can be customized, and users can drag-and-drop work items, stories, and bugs into different completion stages. Work items can also be sorted into swimlanes based on priority, story, or estimation points, and sprint activity graphs allow users to track the progress of any ongoing sprint. The dashboard gives users an overview of key project metrics, with a weekly digest of work items and overall completion. A range of reports are generated automatically by Zoho Sprints, including velocity charts, burnup and burndown charts, and cumulative flow diagrams, allowing users to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust goals.

Since using Zoho Sprints at my company we have discovered that it really is possible to have an orderly job. It provides us with management and work planning tools, keeping projects up to date, visualizing their roadmap, to prioritize important issues, coordinate business meetings, as well as build a productive and highly competitive environment. It is possible to assign tasks and improve work performance, be involved in every progress we make and exchange comments to make work fully collaborative. We find the weekly reports attractive, in this way we evaluate the progress in each proposed project, we follow up on current projects and we finalize completed issues. It is a totally versatile platform that has helped us feel comfortable when working, with comfortable and customizable tools and interface. The best thing about all this is that it is not necessary to be a professional in the area, with just clicks and drag everything is done automatically, which is incredible. Integrating the work to have a single source of control is essential, and Zoho Sprints provides this facility, in this way we order in a single platform, other means of work that make our work development much more effective.

  • Customizable and adjustable interface to our preference, quickly, with extensive adjustable features.
Cons
  • Perhaps it could be a little faster, with so many functions the platform becomes somewhat slow and delays the work.
  • The boards to organize tasks do not show me all the pending tasks of various projects, it would be ideal to be able to modify this to be able to centralize the pending tasks.
  • Mail notifications are abundant and stressful, I tried to eliminate receiving so many emails but it seems to be a failed mission.

I think it is necessary that in every work group there is a platform that can help them keep everything in order, with planning and generation of reports. This is undoubtedly a plus when it comes to setting goals and planning projects, it allows you to quickly achieve goals that you thought were impossible. They are similar and very powerful tools, with really incredible functions. But Zoho Sprints gives me much more customizable dashboards and interface and the reports are much more tailored to our particular work.

All the tasks can be created in a single space and everyone has access to it.

  • Interface can be a bit tricky and challenging sometimes.
  • Need to add more features for agile management.
  • Need to add every user individually on sprint boards.
Likelihood to Recommend
Best suited for agile software development and project management. For those who have tough and tight requirements where changes need to be done simultaneously along with the development, this can come in handy. Sprints would give a clear idea of who is doing what in a project team. Task status, bugs fixed, planning, everything under one tool.

Quite affordable as compared to others. The trial version can accommodate up to 3 projects with 500 MB storage and a parallel sprint whereas the paid version with a minimal cost can accommodate an unlimited number of projects with up to 100 GB of storage and an unlimited number of parallel sprints. All these factors make it very affordable.
