I used Zoom for online B2B Sales calls. Previously i was using Skype and local dialers to reach out clients. During COVID -19 moving from phone call to Zoom meetings totally changed my experienced. In my opinion, it is user friendly and increased my conversion rate. I also used it for internal team meetings and was a great experience so far. Managing virtual team, chat rooms, screen sharing and easily joinable from browser with a single link made it a favorite platform.

Zoom's existing functionalities are already addressing most of my needs that why i might not renew it. In future i might suggest my company for a paid plan of Zoom to avoid the trial bracket for 1 hour. All other features are up to the mark and fulfill my requirements for the meetings

Skype We replaced Skype for online meetings because joining process for online meeting is comparatively very easy for Zoom. A single link can help you connect anywhere around the globe. Meeting recording is another important factor that helps me because i don't have install any relevant software for meeting recording separately.

I started using Zoom after Covid-19 and it helped me a lot in client meeting and Sales Closing. Prior my efforts were limited to Skype and Dialer Calls. Zoom helped me improve my interactions with the clients. Email Synchronization was a feature that helped me organize myself for meetings and correspondence.
Nowadays easy integrations with different freelance platforms like Upwork, Fiverr and Calendly give an edge to any communication platform. Since Zoom is integrated with Upwork so i attend all my meetings on Upwork by Zoom. All integrated platforms has an edge to use that specific platform.
Future AI can also help to improve Zoom integrate for many plausible applications

Just like i mentioned earlier Zoom provided me exceptional support in my closings after the Covid-19. Due to COVID I prioritized all my meeting via Zoom and it was very easy to adopt and operate Zoom software. Joining and organizing the meeting via Zoom was very user friendly and i enjoyed it.

We use Zoom meetings for all individual, team, and company-wide meetings that require bringing together employees, customers, vendors, etc. in different locations. I use Zoom daily as one of the many remote employees. All employees across the various countries in which we operate use Zoom, it is the recommended form of communication by our employer for all calls when possible.
  • High-quality sound and video.
  • Great mobile app for dialing in for video and or audio calls as needed.
  • Chat feature for larger scale calls to help manage questions and reducing talking over each other.
  • Individuals cannot turn on the feature to mute audio or video upon meeting entry, only the meeting organizer can change these settings.
  • We have had issues with larger meetings in which some participants are unable to enter, no resolution for the issue right now.
  • The sound in rooms can sometimes default to a high volume regardless of the volume left from the previous call.
It works well for medium to large companies that have employees distributed globally. We have noticed a significant reduction in long distance and international call expenses once the recommendation and enforcement to use Zoom for calls as often as possible went into effect. Overall, video meetings allow remote employees a more personal experience during conference calls than a traditional audio-only call would provide.

  • Ability to interview candidates in other locations and not flying into headquarters until later rounds of the interview process has saved the company on travel expenses.
We used BlueJeans for years and Zoom offered a better corporate pricing and support model in addition to addressing a few issues we had with BlueJeans in regards to the larger scale and private, confidential events that need to be held virtually. Overall, Zoom was able to fulfill the needs of a rapidly growing global corporation looking to keep employees all around the world as connected as possible.

Zoom Video Webinar is being used to provide education to our clients on how to utilize our products and general advice on social media. Zoom provided a solution to our problem of providing content to multiple users instead of in dribs and drabs as we had been doing it previously. The problem had been doing education one to one instead of running mass webinars dedicated to educating our clients and potential clients in an efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Zoom allows presentation to groups in a cost effective way.
  • Zoom has allowed us to cut down time spent in preparing trainings.
  • Zoom has given us a great way to present training and use it to generate leads on new clients through free webinars.
  • It is not as robust as some of its competitors as it doesn't have all the features present that they do.
  • Zoom is fairly easy to use but has been difficult for some of our users to transition to who have used other products extensively.
  • I can't really think of any other cons. Overall it's a pretty decent product.
Zoom Video Webinar has been incredibly useful to build trust with our current client base as we provide education to them on things important to their business. We have also been able to generate significant leads through our large webinars by offering free content. So far it seems easy to use in a group setting but hasn't been used extensively by our employees for one on one client communication. I'm not sure why that is. It might just be a perception issue.

  • Allows us to save money in a several different ways including cutting labor costs.
  • Zoom has given us a way to not only educate our clients but generate leads at the same time.
  • Zoom has actually cost less than our former service.
GoToMeeting was a more expensive option even though it did have some added functionality we liked. It was also extensively used by our employees so transitioning them away from it was painful at times. Skype was also more expensive and didn't meet our needs in many ways. Finally, Google Hangouts was such a purely basic tool and just didn't cut it when looking for reporting and group meeting capabilities. Just completely didn't fit the bill.

Our organization uses Zoom for different functions. Sales uses it to present demonstrations to potential enterprise level clients. Our training team uses it to present materials to large groups of clients for simultaneous training. Our marketing department presents webinars for education outreach and to generate leads through those same outreach efforts. There is almost equal use across departments.

Our org is small and doesn't need more than basic administration. We have one ongoing admin for the software who supplies all training and support. Zoom requires little in the way of ongoing support as it functions well and once initially set up is easy to learn and maintain. Maintenance costs almost nothing.
  • Webinars to support our client base in ongoing education has been one of our primary uses. It has been a life saver in changing the structure of our efforts for ongoing training.
  • The webinars put together by our marketing department have netted our org a lot of good will through smooth presentation and Zoom has allowed us to reach them the way they should be. Also of note is our ability to get new leads through this ongoing training as well. Zoom has facilitates this.
  • Our sales department has benefited greatly from our ability to give them smooth video chats for reaching new and potential clients.
We will be renewing with Zoom as long as it continues to meet our needs for client and lead outreach needs in a robust manner. With little error and an easy to use interface, Zoom has met our needs and exceeded our expectations. The cost is right and with a short learning curve, Zoom has been an easy decision to make and maintain.
