Zoom- Best Online Platform for Interactions
Frustrated by Zoom's poor UX that doesn't improve over time. Annoyed that it forces you to install updates at the worst possible time--right before a meeting :-/
Zoom met our needs during difficult times.

Once you try Zoom, you won't look back
- Zoom meetings are easy to start and join. With some other web meeting platforms, it is difficult getting the software onto your computer. We've found that Zoom installs the first time you click on the meeting link with one-click ease.
- Recording your meetings in the Zoom Cloud is simple. Click record and then after your meeting is over, you get an email from Zoom with your recording link.
- Zoom is platform agnostic. It works with computers, laptops, mobile devices, Linux machines, and legacy video conference systems.
- In our environment using Polycom systems, videos that are being shared don't come through really well on the Polycom systems. The audio is usually very fluid but the video will lag or stutter.
- Virtual backgrounds have a come a long way, but I recently saw a "blur background" feature on a competitors platform that looked quite good. It'd be great if Zoom could do something like that.
Click and connect with Zoom
- Allows for collaborative discussion.
- Works on multiple devices so you're not tied to the computer.
- Records in multiple formats (video, audio, and chat files) allowing for clear communication.
- Integrates with Gmail & Google Calendar to help keep your time managed.
- The file-sharing feature only shares at that moment with whoever is online right then. I'd like files to share separately from chat and remain available throughout.
- The Emojis for applause, thumbs up, etc. should be integrated into chat, not in a separate area: participant.
RMN Review from IT
- Slick UI
- Easy to Use
- Works on many devies.
- Some features need refining (Zoom Phone, External Call Management, i.e. Zoom Rooms getting spam calls).
- Beta UK Numbers would be nice to have pushed out.
- Scheduling on behalf of others has been tough to implement but sounds like its going in the right direction.
- interactive ability to connect with anyone with a device
- easy log on and learning curve
- use of computer audio with computer
- more space for cloud recordings to store
Zoom, a reason to not miss court.
- The quality has been extraordinary. We used a competing solution before but it never quite met our expectations.
- The reliability of Zoom has been excellent. We have never experienced any downtown from the service.
- The user interface is simple making it easy for even our less experienced users to catch on and not feel intimidated.
- The recent security issue with mac should have been handled before it was released to the public.
Need video conferencing? Look no further than Zoom!
- Easy to use with a minimal learning curve.
- Powerful remote administration options for enterprise users.
- High quality video and audio when meeting.
- Need more granular administrative options such as selectively disabling/enabling call me/out features.
- Would like more branding options/white labeling for enterprise-level organizations.
- Zoom meetings are easily the most user friendly application we currently use.
- Zoom support is quick to respond and resolve all of my requests. Every Zoom support ticket has been one-touch.
- The administrative side of Zoom is centralized and simplified to a good balance. My admins love the straight forward approach to the admin portal and reporting.
- Zoom is expanding aggressively which means there are some pain points around new features.
Zoom just WORKS!!!!!
- Works the first time.
- Easy to use (limited training needed for my employees).
- Easy to Manage.
- Better email visuals (When setting up a meeting in Outlook with Zoom, it's plain text and not attractive).
- Difference between creating a meeting right now vs a recurring meeting (I end up doing the wrong thing until I really look at the description).
Zoom is great!
- Zoom provides seamless connections.
- Supports time zone changes well.
- Has a nice interface.
- I like Zoom the way it is.
- Break-out rooms.
- Easy to use.
- Not resource intensive.
- Mobile app.
- Service outages age not unusual.
- Recording to local device is not intuitive for re-sharing.
- It would be nice to record break-outs.
Zoom is our future in collaboration
- Engagement.
- Ease of use.
- Breakouts assignments pre-loaded from Excel.
- Adding a timer/countdown timer for when we do 2 minute report-outs.
- More ability to customize the instructions for logging into a zoom meeting - the links don't work for your organization and only confuse new users.
Love it!
- Easy to set up and use. The entire software is intuitive to use.
- Zoom support/chat feature has answered many questions for me. they are super helpful.
- Zoom webinars allow for anonymous participation - so no one can tell if there are 2 or 200 people in your webinar.
- Allow email invitations to go out right from the software.
- More customization offers available in the reminder emails.
- Zoom is reliable. You can always count on Zoom to work, whether you are on your phone or on a computer.
- Zoom allows you to auto-record or manually record meetings, making it easy for our team to soundbite and review information.
- Zoom business transcribes all cloud recorded meetings, saving our marketing team tons of time and money in repurposing quotes and recorded content from a conversation.
- I wish Zoom had a Calendly integration, where you could share a calendar and have a meeting auto popup in Zoom. It's a one-stop-shop.
- Zoom's interface on the management side could be cleaner and easier to navigate within. There are a lot of features and selections, and it can be overwhelming sometimes to figure out the settings you prefer.
- Zoom could provide better training resources, besides one long document. They should diversify their training portfolio to video and short-clips.
Zoom into your next meeting with ease!
- Cloud recording.
- Large base of users connectable at once.
- Integrated File share-ability.
- Expensive.
- All users must have Zoom.
- Simplify plan options.
