  • Cisco Webex Share (discontinued)
Zoom is far better than Webex as the mobile app is better, screen layout is better, screen sharing is better, slide show sharing is better, etc. Zoom makes our business more efficient as well as saves out team time driving in for an in person staff meeting. Zoom for the win!

The only reason why my company uses Zoom is because the company-wide meeting is too large to continue using Google Meet. Thankfully, this is not often.

Zoom is easier to configure than teams but has basically the same features. The main reason we went with teams was it is part of micorsoft365 and integrates well with other micorsoft products. At the time we needed a quickly configureable system to get in touch with remote workers. Zoom was a quick fix. Teams was much more difficult to use than zoom, however, the cost of zoom added onto our existing micorsoft accdounts made it more imperative to be able to use teams.

We actually use both Teams and Zoom. We mainly use Zoom for meetings with people outside our organization. We regularly host meetings and conferences. It has made things a lot easier for us. It is a universal platform that everyone can use with little to no issues.
We like the product and use it often.

With Zoom, the audio and video quality surpasses the quality of Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. The biggest benefit of Zoom is screen share. You can select which tabs you want to show your audience and once your screen is shared, you can still view the video of others in the call. I cannot say the same about the other two video conferencing platforms. When I share my screen on Google Meet, I no longer can see the other people on the call.

I would say that Webex is almost similar to Zoom in regards to the enhancements and usage. The UI of Webex is a bit simpler. Whereas the zoom UI has a lot of information and a first-time user might need some time to get used to it. Zoom is way very inferior to GoToMeeting which doesn't have around 80% of the options that zoom provides.

Video quality and Service reliability were the two main features we chose to use Zoom over MS Teams. We were a Microsoft 365 organisation which included Teams as part of our licensing but we chose Zoom over it

Zoom is a versatile and reliable video conferencing platform that has become a go-to tool for remote communication and collaboration. Zoom is a popular video conferencing platform that offers a wide range of features including screen sharing, virtual backgrounds, and recording capabilities. It is known for its ease of use, reliability, and high-quality video and audio.

No competition, Zoom is well below standards in functionality and much more expensive. Also, it requires a contract where the others is pay as you go on a monthly basis. The phone conversation is clear. No problem with connectivity. The international feature is still about 30% more expensive than other voip system.

Zoom is way lighter than MS Teams - especially on Mac ecosystem. Participants management is also more clear on Zoom.
Zoom handles numerous participants on the call better than Google Meet.
Zoom does not require dedicated account to log in (unlike Google Meet or MS Teams).
Zoom UI is way easier than MS Teams.

Zoom is way better in video conferencing, desktop sharing and stability. Also having the ability to create rooms, so you can divide your team during the meeting to work on several projects is great! Also for me to be able to draw in order to explain or highlight on desktop sharing is superb!

Zoom over Webex, while nothing against Webex, Zoom is much easier to understand and use right out of the gate. It provides simple functionality for a nice, clean video conference and also has the bandwidth that we needed to host a lot of people (500+) while Webex could not support that number for some reason. So that's ultimately why we have continued to use Zoom for our large conference meetings.

Low cost and improve quality when you have several participants.
Multi platform support is also amazing for this tool, no mater if we are talking about PC or MAC, Windows or Linux, Zoom can be easily be used.
Support provided by the vendor is also an incredible key feature of this tool, if you face an issue, or have a question you can easily be in touch with the support services

The main core reason why we are still choosing Zoom its because of the large-list feature. With Google Meet we have the limitation of potential attendees to the meeting, that results in a big issue for meetings where we need to involve large portions or the whole company.

Zoom is much better than using a source such as Vonage for business meeting solutions. The main reason would be Vonage has limits and can't always function properly when using a government computer. In those situations, one would need to use a mobile device. When it comes to Zoom, you can use it on any device with fewer problems and issues.

We use Zoom for the specific use cases mentioned because it seems to be the best tool for those use cases. Other tools are in use for other use cases in our enterprise, as well as because of the pricing structure for the tool.

Skype for Business had reliability issues and we often experienced poor quality audio and/or video. For a while, we tried using it with a large number of participants (50+) and encountered some bandwidth/quality issues. We haven't had any of these issues with Zoom.
