  • Hosting/Joining meetings is a piece of cake -- both for users and first-time participants who have never used it before.
  • Room systems (Zoom Rooms) are affordable and increasingly so which lowers the barrier to entry for our clients. Their partnerships with hardware manufacturers are indicative of their commitment to not only ensure end-to-end quality of communication but to simply both deployments and support.
  • They listen to their users. Seriously. They do not give lip service to that.
  • They do not stagnate. Not ever.
  • I'd like to see greater notifications of and information about of upcoming beta features that I see in the product but don't see that additional information about.
  • As a partner/reseller, I'd like to have a tighter, more cohesive level of communication and support in those specific endeavors.

  • I hardly need to harass our IT group to maintain it.
  • Easy enough for everyone to use without hardcore training classes.
  • There are some features within Webinars that could use a bit more fluid functionality.
  • Sometimes, we have had issues with saving meetings/web calls via the cloud and often cannot find it once it is saved.
  • The other problem I did have seems to have already been fixed with the new Zoom Room Bars. We currently use a Crestron Mercury for our Zoom Rooms and there have been some glitches with the wiring, causing it to disconnect rather frequently.

  • It's easy to use. It doesn't take a lot of upfront work to get users comfortable with the features allowing them to more easily engage with the application and participate in learning.
  • The breakout functionality in Zoom meetings provides a seamless way for participants to move into small groups to engage in a discussion or activity and then move back to the main session to present their results to the rest of the group.
  • The ease of getting people on video has been invaluable in getting learners to engage face-to-face without having to be in the same room. It allows our facilitators to better gauge the audience and their engagement with the class allowing them to adapt and adjust their delivery to better meet the needs of the learner.
  • I'd like to see the host of a meeting retain all of the meeting admin functionality even if they are not sharing. An example is when another participant is sharing, they are the only ones who have the ability to allow or dis-allow participants from annotating on the screen. As the host, we are usually acting as the producer of the class, making sure the application runs seamlessly to allow the facilitators to focus on delivery so it would be helpful to be able to take some of those actions.
  • It would be very helpful to be able to clone meetings so that they retain the selected registration options, branding, and polling questions. We're often creating multiple meetings for multiple offerings of the same class and currently, we have to add each polling question for each meeting.
  • I would like to have the ability to chat or send a message to participants in the Waiting Room. I know you can customize the message that displays in the room, but it would be helpful to have some real-time communication with them.
  • The ability to push specific content into breakout rooms would be fantastic! We often have specific activities for participants to complete in the breakouts but we have to post the information to the chat feature for them to download prior to opening the rooms. It would be more effective if we could push the content out or have it available to them when they get into the room.

  • Screen sharing: it's so easy and versatile with Zoom!
  • It allows remote teams to be 'in the same room' as each other as an always-on type of connection, so the teams feel like and work like they are in the same office.
  • Video options: virtual backgrounds and the fine-tuning available for meeting video is invaluable for different meeting space layouts.
  • A more visible display of which audio source is selected during meetings would be valuable for most of our end-users. Maybe an audio source pop-up to go along with the video on/off selection? Right now, you can select computer audio, but not a specific source on that menu.
  • As an admin, I'd like to see more options to batch update room info (like names) and manage large numbers of rooms at once.
  • If we could pick our own time/day for the room refresh/reboot that occurs on weekends, by location. For instance, we could have Seattle rooms reset on Sunday's at 2 am, but in Tel Aviv, we would want them to reset on Saturday at 2 am, due to local custom.

  • Zoom Transcripts: As long as we are recording we get very good transcripts from Zoom, and detailed note-taking becomes easier.
  • Okta Integration: for our IT team it is relatively straight-forward to manage users (add new hires, remove users leaving, etc.). All centrally managed through Okta.
  • Zoom Room: the convenience of having Zoom rooms set up in all internal conf rooms, so it's easy to start conf calls. Mostly our conf rooms are booked back to back, and this gives time back to setup (with just one click).
  • Support to connect to other conferencing systems through Zoom Rooms. Often our customers have Webex, GTM, etc. and we cannot connect to that from our conference rooms.
  • Deeper Slack Integration/commands. I hear this is coming.
  • Often, while on the road, if I ask them to call me back, the call quality is not great.

  • Your users' conference is fun and I feel gratitude.
  • How you work with channels, resellers, and integrators is difficult. Zoom sales reps are too ready to suggest that prospects buy direct, even if the channel brought the opportunity to Zoom.
  • It would be important to have a secure referral and opportunity registration tool that encourages resellers and integrators to partner with Zoom.

  • It's very easy to schedule a meeting quickly from the application or computer and import it into an Outlook invite. This strength allows me to better my schedule from my desk or when working remotely from the application.
  • It has good integration capabilities across many business sectors. Zoom can be utilized for telehealth, commercial needs, etc. and can connect with other key platforms or solutions to improve workflows.
  • Zoom should integrate a more robust translation and interpretation platform to support healthcare requirements as it relates to language access.

  • Cloud recording is fantastic; faculty no longer have to move files for students to be able to view them. Also, recording at the drop of a hat allows classes to be recorded mid-lecture should we experience any network issues at remote sites.
  • Integration with Google (we are a Google apps for higher ed institution) allowed a near seamless use of Zoom with tools our faculty and staff were already used to.
  • Ease of use....the training required to get our faculty and staff using Zoom was minimal.
  • 323 and SIP integration was a little hard. We came from a scheduled service with automatic dial out and it was a shock to move to a dial-in system.
  • Getting a pricing structure for different features could prove difficult (such as adding webinars or phones).

  • It just works. Biggest complaint with our previous solution is that it took 10 minutes to connect to a meeting. Now, our users connect instantaneously.
  • Dashboard is fantasitic. Can access real time information to troubleshoot calls.
  • Admin ports offers quite a bit of information. Like that it's a one stop shop to access everything I need to administer the site, users, run reports and access the dashboard.
  • Tickets get resolved quickly.
  • Feature requests are realized quickly.
  • Managing subaccounts is a bit cumbersome. Love that I can access them from the same portal, but inconvenient to have to sign-in to the site to fully administer.
  • Zoom Room in-depth meetings reports could be better.

  • Zoom has consistently exceptional audio and video quality.
  • Zoom has a Breakout Rooms feature that makes it possible to allow for small-group sharing. For example, if I'm teaching a workshop to 30 people, I may opt to create ten Breakout Rooms (three people/room) for small-group sharing.
  • Zoom Cloud recordings can be saved with multiple audio, video, and screen sharing tracks. This is very useful when producing recordings of live sessions.
  • My clients sometimes lose track of windows associated with live meetings (e.g. the video feeds). I can typically get them back on track very quickly, so it's a minor inconvenience.
  • On the Mac, when I close the main Zoom window there isn't an obvious way to get it back. This is a fairly minor point, and one that could easily be addressed.
