Zoom Leads the Way in Video Conferencing
- Zoom has consistently exceptional audio and video quality.
- Zoom has a Breakout Rooms feature that makes it possible to allow for small-group sharing. For example, if I'm teaching a workshop to 30 people, I may opt to create ten Breakout Rooms (three people/room) for small-group sharing.
- Zoom Cloud recordings can be saved with multiple audio, video, and screen sharing tracks. This is very useful when producing recordings of live sessions.
- My clients sometimes lose track of windows associated with live meetings (e.g. the video feeds). I can typically get them back on track very quickly, so it's a minor inconvenience.
- On the Mac, when I close the main Zoom window there isn't an obvious way to get it back. This is a fairly minor point, and one that could easily be addressed.

Zoom is every IT Administrator's favorite product
- It's easy to manage from the Zoom Web Portal. It doesn't take long to get up to speed and feel comfortable administering it.
- Extremely reliable. Zoom just works, as the tagline says. It is the most reliable web conferencing platform I've ever used.
- Zoom Rooms are a great conference room experience. It enables us to turn any sized room into a collaborative space.
- With the variety of supported devices, there is some lack of feature parity. I have learned this the hard way with some of the choices I've made. The differences between these platforms could be made more clear.
- Some of the coolest features -- like Digital Signage -- are in need of love and improvements. These are really the types of things that unlock the full value of being a Zoom Room customer.
- Higher quality video and screen sharing is a must! 1080p at least!

- Some features that exist - users seem unaware of - not sure that's an HCI issue or just an awareness [issue].
- I surveyed users recently on what could be better and the only answer was auto transcription could be better especially with medical terms.
- It would be good if we could upload a dictionary of common specialist words.

Simple, elegant and efficient web-conferencing. It just works!
- Content can be shared extremely easily. All you need is a sharing code and a web browser or the Zoom application.
- Ad-hoc meetings are a Breeze. Simply clicking a few buttons starts the meeting magic!
- Scheduled meetings are also a Breeze and even launch automatically. This was extremely important for us as some remote locations have limited support staff. It just works!
- Manipulating camera tiles could come in handy. As more users start to join a meeting, Zoom will automatically arrange the camera tiles. In our use case and for training purposes, allowing the tiling of cameras to be accommodated between multiple monitors would proof beneficial.

Zoom Review
- Easy scheduling of meetings. Fewer steps involved in setting up meetings than in the past.
- Users are able to record meetings through their own login instead of calling IT hoping there is a recorder available.
- They can add whomever they want to the meeting just through the app with their emails.
- It would be nice to have Zoom Rooms work with the breakout room feature.
- Is it possible to manage Cisco standard rooms?
- Better way to mute on joining without issues for Cisco-based endpoints.

Still in love with Zoom 4+ years later
- Zoom is very intuitive and the learning curve is absolutely the lowest I've experienced in any video conferencing solution.
- Zoom's support is top notch, very responsive and friendly.
- It's easy to develop relationships with our customer success managers and product managers. Zoom's culture makes it easy to become loyal customers and brag to others about the Zoom experience.
- I am probably one of the more vocal customers in the past four years and some of the things I have been asking for and have yet to receive are: An easy portal to submit feature requests and track their statuses and be kept up on what is happening from a feature perspective. Zoom often releases updates without formal announcements not giving the system administrators and engineers time to fully test before deploy. I have 30 plus feature requests in to date and not sure I've seen progress on more then 2 or 3.

- The ease of use helps staff members adopt the software.
- Zoom Support has been very helpful even after post deploy to help troubleshoot and answer questions.
- Zoom's ease of use to work on multiple platforms like mobile and computer.
- Providing more options on post recording options like file download load format and editing options.
- As an IT admin it would be nice to have better options when attempting to make custom reports on the backend. At times the canned reports, do not help with information being requested.

- I am really happy with the Zoom web extension for Google Calendar.
- I find Zoom very stable compared to other video conferencing systems I have used. I have been an "IT person" for several years and I would say that's it's the best video conferencing solution I've come across.
- I find that setting up a Zoom Room is a very easy thing to do from a hardware perspective.
- I like the ability to update Zoom software from the Zoom admin console.
- I would like Zoom API support to be more helpful than it currently is.
- Zoom usage and support in China could be better.
