Zoom is an online meeting and video conferencing platform known for its webinar capabilities for live virtual events and broadcasting. It features HD video and audio, collaboration tools, chat functionality, and an enterprise cloud phone system.https://media.trustradius.com/product-logos/X0/J2/JJQC92U6VWBP.PNGLove ZoomMy organization also uses Skype for Business, but I have experience from Zoom in a previous job, and prefer the functionality and interface. I find it specifically useful because I collaborate with other organizations on multiple continents, and prefer Zoom. Right now I am the main user of Zoom in my organization, but I am trying to persuade others to use it too.,The screen share function. The annotation function. Controlling settings (e.g. mute). A hands-up and chat function.,Automatic record function: I am sometimes deep into a call when I realize I did not press the record function. Having this automatically activated would be better.,10,Cost savings-- we're not having to make expensive international calls Its ease of use makes it a very functional application.,No.,Zoom makes virtual collaboration easy!I work for an organization that has staff across the country. The people on my immediate team live in 5 different states. Our work requires co-development of projects, initiatives, and long-distance support for our practitioners. This means we need a reliable platform that facilitates video conferencing with multiple people.,It has the ability to connect to audio via computer or phone. Zoom has breakout rooms for small group work within larger meetings. It allows for simple screen sharing.,I would love to have more options to rearrange participant video screens. It is not always possible to see all participants during a screen share.,10,Improved collaboration. We've seen greater efficiency in meetings due to less time spent managing technical issues with other video chat platforms.,Yes. Zoom Rooms is fabulous for hosting small group breakouts within larger meetings. This allows for more inclusive participation in the development of ideas and projects.,Google Hangouts and BlueJeansMaking a good impression starts with ZoomWe use Zoom for all types of conferencing needs across my team. We do Product Demos frequently and have found Zoom to be the easiest for our customers and prospects (who are outside our organization) to join the call via phone or thru computer without any issues. It is quick and easy. Sound quality/clarity - excellent. This greatly helps create a good impression with our customers. We use it also for our daily calls with the development team.,It's a very quick and easy process for invitees to join the call. There are multiple choices for invitees to join the call as well. It's easy for invitees to share their screen. It's very easy for the host to schedule the call. Having the plug-in for Outlook makes it easy to schedule the call. Sound clarity/quality is, again, excellent.,I can't think of anything for now. It meets all my needs now. As the admin, looking up the master code for each user for starting the call, the navigation was not intuitive. I had to do multiple clicks to get the needed info.,10,We can make a good first impression with our customers and prospects while demoing our product. Zoom helps to make that happen. Though we have some other corporate tool for calls and videos, we chose to spend money on Zoom. This helps with an improved user experience.,Not yet. We haven't used it yet. We will explore this in the coming weeks.,Public health and ZoomWe are currently using Zoom for meetings since we have coordinators in every county in Hawaii. I am also using Zoom for our monthly training webinars that are offered to the community across the country. Since I live in Kaua’i, I often also use Zoom to have small meetings with my colleagues on Oahu.,Reminder emails for monthly webinars. Easy to schedule meetings. Easy to find help when you need it.,When sharing your screen sometimes it’s hard to see your options when you have many windows open. I'm not sure if there’s an option to where your chats from meetings are saved to.,9,Improved meetings with colleagues on different islands. Improved meetings with community partners.,We do not use Zoom rooms.,SlackNeed to improveMost of my colleagues use Lync, but Zoom is getting more and more popular. We use Zoom for meetings with people from abroad. The main issue for Zoom right now is that Zoom is very sensitive to your internet connection. It is easily cut off during a meeting, even if the internet is not so bad.,The audio is good. The platform is stable. The video is also good.,It is very easy to get cut off due to the internet. Even the internet is not that bad, Zoom can be disconnected, and cannot reconnect by itself. We have to log out and log in to re-join the meeting after disconnection.,8,More clients. More work. More convenient.,I am not sure what Zoom Rooms is. If it is the Zoom meeting we are using, then the main issue for Zoom right now is the internet issue.,Zoom-ing into communications like it should be in the 21st century, 2nd decade, and 2nd half !!!By the IT Department and across a few other departments in the organization as well as for national meetings for important inter-jurisdictional collaboration. Addresses business problems related to large distances between rural organizations and reduces travel needs.,Video calls allow for visual communications. Sharing of screens gives control to participants to showcase material on their devices. Mobility and flexibility of access across modes and devices.,Usage of bandwidth could be lower. A remote control would be useful! Screen does not show participants clearly for the organizer. A report on who participated would be extremely useful. A report on who participated from where and for how long would also be useful.,8,Positive impact: ability to set up teleconference calls for access by participants across the nation. Positive impact: cost savings achieved thru reduction of travel. Positive impact: improved collaboration in team meetings thru improved participation. Positive impact: ease of meeting setup helps use at short notice.,N/A,Why you need Zoom.Zoom is used for video conferencing of meetings ranging from sizes of just 2 up to 20 or more. We use it in our department amidst the unreliability of Skype for Business. It addresses the efficiency of getting meetings started without technical delay.,Teaching to large groups via video conference. Hosting large meetings and using an iPad Pro to share screens and draw out plans. Run and host podcasts with screen share and record video and audio (good quality). Was able to have a Zoom call with two individuals—one in Dubai, the other in Australia—in which the reception was absolutely clear. It was like they were sitting right next to me.,There needs to be the ability to change the volume of others on the call as to effect the audio on your end only. Often times callers are too loud and the only way for me to get their volume lower is to ask them to turn down the gain on their mics which, in many cases, people do not know how to do that. The green screen feature is brilliant but I would like greater ability to touch up hue and saturation of a video feed. There have been some issues with windows sticking to one monitor, even after moving them to another monitor, they bounce back to the original monitor the window was on.,9,Only positive impact on meetings starting swiftly. Audio records were used in past for podcasts where local recordings have failed without degradation in quality. We have been able to record meetings and provide them to those who missed.,I have used Zoom Rooms in the past though I have found it a bit clunky and intrusive when asking people to come back to the main room.,Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and Adobe ConnectZoom works for usWe rolled out Zoom to replace our video conferencing solution and our phone provider. We doubled the number of video conferencing rooms on the same budget we had to update the current rooms. Users love the ease of Zoom Rooms so far.,Zoom Rooms are easy to use. Digital signage is included with your license. Airplay!,Zoom phone is very new and is not as feature rich. International phones are slow to roll out.,10,Reduced our costs while increasing number of video conferencing rooms. Easier to screen share in meeting rooms.,Zoom Rooms are the best feature. One-touch to start meetings, calendar integration, and screen sharing are awesome.Zoom is a must for any businessZoom is being used as our main communication tool. Our workers are dispersed in different locations, and the majority of our internal and external meetings, as well as interviews, are conducted on Zoom. It is also used as a telemedicine platform for us to meet with patients.,Its a solid application that is consistent and dependable. Private as well as group messaging. Encryption for our HIPPA requirements. Breakout rooms for larger meetings and trainings.,I have heard of Zoom getting hacked, like programs being developed that spoof Zoom are concerning.,9,Zoom has a very positive impact on our business, it is one of the main tools we use. A low cost high return tool.,We do use Zoom Rooms and are very satisfied.,Zoom Zoom: easy and quick way to organize and conduct your meetings. We use it to conduct research related meetings. Your survey assumes that only business folks use Zoom. I am in academia, so you missed a complete category. I could not select the best category in the response options. The whole organization. Again, this assumes we are a business and we are a university. We are using it in our department and I am for my personal projects.,Good and stable reception of the communication Recording Screen sharing,REGULARLY I have problems with participants not being able to get into the meeting. They receive an error message that the host is NOT present. Real pain. Downloading recording meetings is tricky. It is not intuitive to direct where the file should be saved as I can be accessing Zoom from different computers.,10,Cost savings Convenience of organizing meetings impromptu,I did not lead this meeting but was a participant. It worked INCREDIBLY well. The only issue is that once partitioned into rooms I was not sure about how to ask the administrator questions or ask to return to the group.,RMN Review from ITZoom is being used across the organization. The main problem it resolves is that it allowed us to have a unified video conferencing room setup across offices and countries.,Slick UI Easy to Use Works on many devies.,Some features need refining (Zoom Phone, External Call Management, i.e. Zoom Rooms getting spam calls). Beta UK Numbers would be nice to have pushed out. Scheduling on behalf of others has been tough to implement but sounds like its going in the right direction.,9,Cost savings Unified meeting room setup Easier for meetings to be scheduled ad-hoc,Yes, overall it's been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Most people in our org have had excellent reviews about how easy it is to just walk into a meeting and get things started.,RingCentral and Google HangoutsZoom is our future in collaborationWe're using Zoom in place of WebEx to host 1/2 day virtual meetings that have a 60% physician attendance. It solves our business problem of being a national organization (with leaders in every state) and reducing time and cost of travel.,Engagement. Ease of use.,Breakouts assignments pre-loaded from Excel. Adding a timer/countdown timer for when we do 2 minute report-outs. More ability to customize the instructions for logging into a zoom meeting - the links don't work for your organization and only confuse new users.,10,Cost savings for travel avoidance. Higher engagement in virtual meetings. Less multitasking during meetings.,No,Cisco Webex Teams (formerly Cisco Spark)Love it!Our department is using Zoom. We also have other departments that use it but I can only speak to ours. We have been hosting webinars to try and educate our customers about our product and it's been very successful so far. We also use it to host video meetings internally because we have a lot of salespeople in the field we need to stay connected to.,Easy to set up and use. The entire software is intuitive to use. Zoom support/chat feature has answered many questions for me. they are super helpful. Zoom webinars allow for anonymous participation - so no one can tell if there are 2 or 200 people in your webinar.,Allow email invitations to go out right from the software. More customization offers available in the reminder emails.,10,Allowed us to communicate to our customers directly in a more formal way. Allows people who never met to see each other at meetings.,I do not use Zoom Rooms,An easy-to-use remote support system with integrated audio and video abilitiesWe use it to provide technical support to our customer base by remotely connecting to their systems.,Easy to schedule online meetings particularly from within Outlook. Easy to invite additional people into the meeting. Integrated audio connection with the ability to dial in to the meeting if no access to the PC Can also use the mobile app to view and control remote systems.,The most important limitation is the inability to reconnect to the remote system after a reboot of the remote system. Control access has to be approved by the user on the remote system sharing the screen when multiple users are joined. Sometimes the mouse control lags severely and the sessions have to be restarted.,8,Provides reliable and quick connections to remote customers helping resolve the issues quickly. Easy for the customers to quickly launch the application and join the meeting for remote support. Single sign-on option for the team helps in maintaining the subscription.,We have not used Zoom Rooms yet. Normally we schedule the meetings providing all the that users with the meeting link invite and start the sessions. Not sure if this is called the Zoom Room.,TeamViewer, LogMeIn Rescue and Skype for Business (formerly Lync)Zoom ReviewZoom is being used by our company for collaboration between our several locations. We have locations on both the west and east coast, as well as outside of the country. We hold multiple meetings a day and we use Zoom in order to meet face to face without having to be in the same room.,Ease of use Reliable Good quality,Sometimes service can be spotty,10,Allows collaboration across all of the locations Easy to communicate,Zoom Rooms have been great for meetings,GoToMeetingZoom into Your Next Connection with Zoom!Zoom is used during video conferences to connect with other professionals in the field of education to form connections and learn about best practices in the field. Classroom teachers are also utilizing the tool to connect with experts from across different fields to bring resources and real-world application into the classroom.,Easy to use. Strong connection allowing easy collaboration.,More interaction among participants.,10,Allowed for more collaboration across schools and grade levels. Allowed for more experts and guests to be incorporated into the classroom.,I have not used this feature.,Zoom through Virtual Calls!Zoom is being used for virtual conference calls with different departments between buildings, and we also have been trying to explore its use for "virtual field trips" and having presentations by experts in their field that do not require travel.,Easy to access and use. Ability to record calls. Strong network connection and stability.,The interface could be a little smoother.,9,Ease of communication Less travel More collaboration,Extremely easy to use and set up. Can control audio/video by default for invited participants.,SkypeVery happy user!We use Zoom to connect with our colleagues across time zones and in different states for regular meetings with 10+ people.,easy to use allows you to share documents allows you to type messages,Sometimes it takes a minute for audio to work.,9,It has allowed us to share ideas without everyone having to be present (in person).,NoGreat for small conversation groups and presentations!I use zoom for my own business with Arbonne to educate others on the business and the products.,Speed Quality Design,Link Talking Size,8,Being able to share with a larger audience who is not near by! The link doesn’t always work for People joining in Works well anywhere I am!,No, I do not use Zoom Rooms.Zoom is the bestZoom is being used in my department for every type of remote meeting and conference calls we have.,Excellent connectivity Ease of use Very low failure rates/rarely are calls dropped,Connecting your chats to Evernote would be great Continued development to maintain your excellent service quality,9,It is a time saver as I never worry about establishing or losing conference calls,I don't use these rooms.,Video Conferencing made easyWe use Zoom for meetings and training. This has helped us to reduce the need to travel. our training department delivers staff training with the web n r lic. we have large staff meeting with Zoom rooms. Supervisors will use with remote staff to conduct supervision. We have also used with board meetings.,Staff Training Calibration Staff Meetings,Allowing no Zoom Lic holders such as admins to schedule meetings for directors,9,Greatly reduce travel time Easy to use,Staff satisfaction is very high. The equipment cost is low compared to a Cisco product. The bandwidth requirement is very low. Staff really like being able to see everyone on the meeting. It is very easy to control the meeting from an iPad. We also use Zoom just to share content from a laptop in a room without having a meeting.,Highfive and Join.meLeading your team anywhere, anytimeI use ZOOM for my weekly conference meeting with my graduate students and church co-workers. ZOOM really helps me both professionally and socially. It makes meetings very easy to organize and greatly reduces travel time and other logistics. It can fit into everyone' schedule effortlessly and flexibly, especially if you have team members with a vast difference in their lifestyle and schedules. ZOOM has become my regular tool in both my professional work and community service.,Multi-users Anywhere and any time Screen sharing,No,10,Time saving Efficient management Leadership,NoEasy and Quick Learning Curve - even for those not Tech Savvy! We use it across a few departments and then also by programs in different states.,interactive ability to connect with anyone with a device easy log on and learning curve use of computer audio with computer, more space for cloud recordings to store,10,ability to train and hold meetings very easily with one click or dial in yes, cost saving!,No, have not used yet- but plan to!,Cisco Webex Room Series (formerly Cisco Spark Room Series) and Skype for Business (formerly Lync)Zoom is great!I have been using zoom for several years to communicate with research partners. Now, my entire organization uses it.,Zoom provides seamless connections. Supports time zone changes well. Has a nice interface.,I like Zoom the way it is.,10,Zoom has led to improved collaboration with my colleagues.,I do not use Zoom rooms.,A great way to set up video meetings. We needed a tool that would let us do video conferencing and this has been working really well for us. We have people on my team that work offsite or from home. We use Zoom to set up meetings with video that allow everyone to be in the same place at the same time. Meetings are really simple to set up, you just select the date and time and send an email. It integrates with Outlook so everyone on my team gets a calendar notification as well. Connecting to a meeting you have been invited to is pretty straightforward. Zoom also lets you record your meetings. Recording meetings wasn't something that was high on the agenda when we started using this but over time we have found more use for it and it's nice that Zoom lets us do that.,It can record a meeting on your local computer. Takes a little time to process the recording but it works without any issues. Plays nicely with Outlook. Connecting to an ongoing meeting is problem free. Really good audio and video quality.,It would be nice to be able to directly share a recorded meeting to Gdrive or Youtube. Right now we have to do it manually.,10,It has allowed people on our team to attend meetings from remote locations, saved us [money] on travel costs. Recorded meetings allow us to review and improve.,I havent used Zoom Rooms so cannot comment.,BlueJeans and Webex Meetings,10
