Very appropriate for medium-large scale companies that have a full sales team. Smaller companies without a full sales team, it makes it much more difficult. There are still positives to it, but it is much harder to have successful ROI.
ZoomInfo Marketing has given us a new way to target our decision-makers and serve them with highly personalized digital advertising across display and social media. Prior to using ZI Marketing, digital advertising felt like a waste of money - we had no way to prove that our ads were being seen by the right people, and we were constantly fighting bots and click fraud. Using ZoomInfo Marketing gives you the ability to target companies using ZoomInfo's best-in-class business intelligence, allowing us to target the right people at the right time. I now feel confident that our target buyers are getting our ads, and as a result, this has made our advertising engagement metrics far more meaningful.
Pros
Targeted Digital Advertising.
Onboarding and Customer Success.
ABM Advertising Strategy.
Cons
Managing Ad Spend & Billing.

ZoomInfo Marketing can be used to re-target companies already in your sales process or familiar with you (i.e., have been to your website or engaged with you in some way). You may not get a large number of conversions through a cold display campaign, but ZI Marketing is a great way to stay at the top of your buyers' minds and provide them with bottom-of-the-funnel content through advertising.
[...] uses ZoomInfo Marketing to draw awareness to our brand to new and existing accounts. We use this tool as a means to keep our product and services at the top of our current clients minds and to bring in new customers who might not have heard of us. We also aim to build our business side of our brand through the ads as most know us for our certifications and education side. Pairing ZoomInfo Marketing and ZoomInfo Sales together has been a seamless process that just has made sense for our organization and sales teams.

Audience Building
Cons
Salesforce attribution connectivity

It's a great tool for our audiences, ZoomInfo Marketing has really good insight into our healthcare space and higher education space. For smaller or more niche areas it would be harder to target or if you're trying to target international audiences, it's not as expansive.
We use ZoomInfo Marketing for our marketing campaigns, this is a great tool because it is intuitive and provide valuable information to better segment and target our audiences. During the onboarding process, the ZoomInfo Marketing support team was always available to assist us to show us how to use the tool more efficiently. We had several learning sessions with a real person. The expert was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. We truly value his expertise. It helped us to move forward with the learning curve of adopting a new product.
Pros
Providing valuable and up-to-date insight on companies
Connecting with other platforms that are part of our marketing ecosystem
Easy to access, navigate, and use. ZoomInfo Marketing is very intuitive

ZoomInfo Marketing is well suited to enrich a list of existing prospects. We have used ZoomInfo Marketing to learn more about potential prospects and push the information to our B2B marketing platform so the information was available not only for marketers but also to the sales representatives before they engage with the prospect. A great benefit as it was the natively integration so the process was smooth and seamless.
I used ZoomInfo Marketing's MarketingOS for bottom funnel digital campaigns to either intent or list audiences. Getting infront of customers with our products has been highly beneficial.

I primarily use ZoomInfo Marketing for audience list building for social media campaigns. I use the audience builder to create different segments based on job function, team, seniority, geographic location, and industry. This is great as for healthcare I can both identify and build audiences of physician-facing B2C customers and also B2B C-Suite decision makers.

If you use paid search for LinkedIn or Mets, the Integration in ZoomInfo Marketing allows you to build the right custom audience that can be migrated to those platforms. Additionally, you can use WebSights to see what users are visiting your domains and integrate that into your selected audience to further segment them for different scenarios.
ZoomInfo Marketing allows us to create very targeted audiences for our content marketing ads on LinkedIn. It's been a really great tool for tracking companies who are continuously returning to our .com and we've been able to create more targeted campaigns towards those people. The amount of insights and data we can glean from this tool have helped us take a step back and look at our strategy, make decisions based on these insights, and know our tactics are positioned better. Not to mention the
Pros
Connects our sales process with our marketing process and allows us to collaborate effectively based on sales goals (audience lists, accounts, etc)
The integration with LinkedIn audience allows us to be more targeted
Workflows, there are so many options here and you can gather a lot of great data for nurture campaigns
Cons
Reporting doesn't fully feel fleshed out

ZoomInfo Marketing has helped us optimize our LinkedIn advertising and is a key tool in out toolkit now. The websights and intent tools give us great insight we couldn't find from other tools we have used. I'd say full reporting is less appropriate at this moment.
We use ZoomInfo Marketing primarily to build and manage our ABM programs. It allows us to target our audience precisely and engage them across multiple channels, which is a huge time saver! Plus, managing our ABM budget in one platform is incredibly straightforward. With their integration, we can easily report on both spend and engagement all in one place.
Pros
I am able to report on performance across several channels in one location
I can build a audience once and sync it across most of my channels.
Ad creative is extremely easy to manage and report on
ZoomInfo Marketing gives us the opportunity to target specific companies or groups of people. The online tools such as websights, intent, workflows and lists allows us to build various audiences for the ads. We can combine the audiences and add filters to get to our perfect list for ads. The report tool allows us to easily see how our ads are performing and if adjusts are needed.
Pros
The ease of campaign creation is amazing! I can get a campaign set up in just a few minutes.
The reporting allows us to easily see the performance of our ads. There is no guesswork.
I love being able to create audiences from ZoomInfo tools such as Websights, intent, workflows and lists. This allows us to target a very specific audience that we otherwise would not have access to.
Cons
I much prefer the websights in ZoomInfo Sales over ZoomInfo Marketing. Websights within Sales allows you to click on the company to then see specific page views. Marketing does not have this option. I usually toggle between both when looking at ad performance which is annoying and time consuming.
You can now click on a company name when looking at campaign results which is great, I wish this would go a step further and be able to see the full company profile available through the Sales platform.
I wish you could also see an image of the ad when clicking to view a campaign. You have to go in and edit the campaign to be able to see the image.

I think ZoomInfo Marketing is great for B2B businesses who are looking to find new customers, or expand outreach with current customers. I don't work in the B2C world, but it seems like ZoomInfo would be more challenging for this. I have also had challenges when trying to find similar companies to a company that is small in size.
