I used this with all of my customers. Allowed me to have multiple windows open with customer data available to me. My collogues loved this product as well. They all enjoyed the user interface and the data filtering. Great product and highly recommend this to anyone who has a larger business.

The application is one that I would highly recommend for your sales team as they are able to seek out information that they would not normally be able to obtain through something like Salesforce or other applications. ZoomInfo for sure is the leader in my opinion in this area and I love the releases and additional features that they are always releasing.

For company and contact data, ZoomInfo is a great tool to get what you need to run a sales and marketing operation. Some of this data is not easy to come by, but ZoomInfo has been at it for years and is on par for "data quality" compared to competitors – which are numerous. Emails will still bounce and phone numbers will be wrong from time to time, and often for certain companies, there will be few or no relevant contacts populated in the database. ZoomInfo is pretty good with querying and filtering. There are limits, but once familiar with the system, an operations manager can figure out the right way to query what we need.

ZoomInfo is well suited for casting a wide net when prospecting. You can easily pull an excess of leads to reach out to, making it easy to target certain industries. You can even specify the type of employee you are looking to target. It's less suited for when you need very precise data. In my experience, it has been hit or misses with data accuracy.

If you are looking to get a scoop into which leads are relevant to the industries you are prospecting to then it's a great tool but if you are looking to do some targeted prospecting that ought to be very accurate and result-centric then this may not be the proper tool for you.

EverString is very much suited in every field and I don't think it will be less appropriate also. Based on my personal usage of this tool, even in small companies, it will be a big help just by its business-to-business data solutions and advanced numerical visual representations. Another good thing about this software is its price which is very suitable for a small or big company. You would never go wrong with everything while using EverString.

EverString, now part of ZoomInfo does an outstanding job of harnessing artificial intelligence and automated machine learning to provide in-depth firmographics, technographics and contacts for B2B sales. Sales prospecting is taken to a whole new level utilizing this technology and productivity and efficiency soars through the roof.

This is well suited to finding large lists of contacts to target. It does keep a running list of the contacts you've found as well, which is convenient. However, it does not integrate directly with Salesforce, returns inaccurate or outdated contacts more often than not, and does not help to identify who the best contacts are at any given organization.

It helps speed up the process of getting to the point of making that first call. I think it is well suited for any business that needs to find potential business prospects.

Data is a critical component of any modern b2b sales/marketing strategy. It needs to be accurate and easily accessible. Everstring does a great job with both of these and also adds to the mix a new form of data, based around intent.
  • If you are working to develop your targeting and ABM strategy this is a great tool to help better understand your target markets and ICP.
  • Looking to understand the search terms and overall interests of companies
  • Identify key contacts at target accounts.
  • Enrich Salesforce with accurate contact and account data.

EverString is useful as a tool for sales teams (who use Salesforce and LinkedIn) to find better contact info on prospects, and definitely valuable over having to manually search for each individual's phone and email. However I'm not sure how it compares to some of the other competitors that solve a similar problem.

Well suited:
  • It's really good for our researchers when it comes to identifying companies that would possibly be a good fit for Workable.
  • It gives accurate information about the company for them to write mini reports for the SDRs to use.
  • SDRs prospecting time is massively reduced by having easily accessible information and social profile links.
Not so well suited:
  • More of a feeling -- if a company is new (less than 1-2 years) the information may not be up to date, especially if the company is growing quickly.

Business development departments for a sales manager to create a sales pipeline. Really helpful for startup tech companies. EverString is well suited for companies looking to scale that don't have the capital to pay for expensive resources. If your company uses Salesforce, I would recommend enabling EverString because the import function works very well. Great for SDRs/BDRs!

I've recommended EverString to many folks I know that are trying to build good target lists for their sales and marketing efforts. If your company has allocated a significant budget to do targeted marketing, EverString is extremely useful. If you're not committed to spending money to reach the accounts you've built in EverString, it's decidedly less effective.

Great for getting some info to help prepare for first and second cadences. Less advanced info for really getting into the company's mission. It would be helpful to have more on recent news stories, decisions the company has made, and what the culture is like. Having to go to other places to get a robust look/company profile.

If you are a call center for B2B services, then you would be able to leverage their lack of a credits system to get yourself a lot of contacts/accounts quickly and if you purchased their intent data service you could use that to see if your product was specifically searched. In addition, you would probably need to be calling about the very specific product you were selling or target account you were focused on to use this database to any great effect.

EverString's main purpose is to surface intent. I wish the intent data was more descriptive and had more details of the type of searches/information the accounts are looking for. Something my organization needs help with is understanding how to surface this data to our sales reps, rather than having it passively live on the accounts.

I think EverString's best, most useful feature is finding similar companies. The enrichment feature has helped us find new contacts from existing companies, but does provide missing data at a contact level, which would be nice to be able to do. The area in which we've seen the least success is the intent feature, being that the audiences have been too small for us to really utilize.
