I think it depends on what you're looking to do with it. If you have a small team, it can be super helpful to multiply your outbound efforts. On the other hand, if you have a small team, you may not have the budget or time needed to adequately get your investment back. It is nice to have a dashboard that shows your user's usage, so you can keep an eye on it and ask your team why they aren't using it (if they aren't). I would also recommend having someone in-house who can manage the connection to your CRM. Having that up and running smoothly goes a long way towards ease of use.

ZoomInfo is one of the best tools in the market when it comes to finding the contact from any company and their contact information. It saves a lot of time and effort. The area where it actually lacs, when company size is small or company, is new in the market.

ZoomInfo is used by our organization to find the best customers and contacts at a particular company. It cuts down on the time it takes us to fight through gatekeepers, connect with the decision-makers, find that data about a company/history and give context so we know if we are chasing the right territory. This solution has cut down the time it takes to get in front of the right people and present.

ZoomInfo is perfect for organizations that need to find contact information for potential prospects or partners. It would not be well suited for organizations looking to ensure their database of contacts has the most up-to-date information. There may be an additional offering to automate that use case, but it would be an extra cost.

ZoomInfo is great for building a database, finding email addresses, and seeing back-end organizational charts to understand the company structure better. It is appropriate if you have a difficult time finding the proper contacts to reach out to. It saves time and gives great insight into how a company operates. It is not ideal for companies that don't do frequent outreach or has a clear methodology for finding prospects.

I've used Zoominfo majorly to point me out in the right direction when it comes to Outbounding efforts. Since functions like Outbound and ABM are more of a push than a pull, the better the quality of your database, the more pointed your efforts can be. Another area where ZoomInfo has worked very well for us has been understanding the behaviour of the market, and how it changes dynamically. This is mostly done through its features like Scoops and Buyer Intent - which can be considered as a hack to find out the top 3% of your buyers in the market at any given point in time. I've seen some companies use ZoomInfo for marketing activities - running campaigns. I think even if this functionality is present in ZoomInfo, it's nowhere close to a Pardot or an Outreach. ZoomInfo is excellent for understanding your TAM and carving out a very rich ICP though.

Well suited for B2B mid-size to large organizations where the demand gen team primarily drives leads to convert to sales funnel and where outbound prospecting is given significance. Less suited for B2C companies and small organizations or where you have a very small marketing/small team. Less appropriate is when the budget is also less.

It is suited when you need insights on US based companies specifically. In cases other than this there are other platforms that can be considered as well. Filters need to be effective and uniform across the board for companies to use it in all geographies effectively. Rest all seems good.

ZoomInfo is a fantastic resource for marketing and SDR teams to plan outreach, campaigns, and monthly/quarterly targets together. We have found that the tool is not well adopted by our sales team, who care less about the behind-the-scenes work SDRs are doing, oftentimes letting SDRs lead all prospecting.

We are still gauging how accurate WebSights are.

ZoomInfo is generally a strong tool for gathering direct phone numbers and email addresses in order to improve my hit rate and increase my client base. Where it can stand to improve some is the accuracy of some of the phone and email information. Occasionally, I see the identical number listed for the same individual or the main number that is marked as direct. Neither is possible.

It's an amazing tool overall if anyone is looking to increase their dependency on outbound sales. Some of the key features like scoops make it more useful with the information it gives. You can save the searches so that you don't have to set filters every time. Salesforce integration works like a charm

Clickagy is useful for creating an ABM strategy target list and creating pipeline. Less appropriate when the intent signal is not strong enough when a company is only using for free trials or testing the products only and is not ready to buy yet.

If you need to find contact information for a "decision-maker" at a specific account, ZoomInfo usually has it. The plug-in feature is very convenient while prospecting over LISN. ZoomInfo, in my experience, has not been useful when downloading company contact lists en masse. Much of the information is outdated and creates unneeded clutter in your CRM.

ZoomInfo is very well suited/tailored toward sales organizations with an ambitious outbound engine. Reps can scrape contact information on their prospects, import into their CRM and begin sequencing their prospects with a few savvy clicks of a button. My experience with ZoomInfo makes it seem more appropriate for immature sales orgs still looking to bulk up their prospecting, more mature teams will likely not lean as heavily on the tool.

Persons and account data are incredibly important to any go-to-market leader. Zoominfo is the best I have worked with when it comes to allowing data to be enriched, enhanced, and/or updated on an automated or as-needed basis. The interface is relatively simple and user-friendly, as well. It certainly helps keep your TAM data up to date.

The database is very extensive. I think this can work well for a lot of sales reps out there trying to contact more established larger companies with 50+ employees. I had a list of a little over 300 names to try and get personal information back on and it returned 67 hits. The system doesn’t make it easy to upload lists unless they are an exact way. I found our onboarding person to be very incompetent. Our sales rep had to step in to rectify the situation, and he did, but the onboarding and training were rushed, and we felt steamrolled. When they offered to help they sent us a video to figure it out ourselves. I really had to push hard to get their team to get in there and help us. The fact still remains the output of the data we did receive made it worth the investment.

It's a huge time saver when searching for contacts needing your service. The intent is amazing to narrow down our search even closer! Engage was not developed for marketing applications, but it fits the salesperson's needs. Training videos are good, quick, and easy to watch. They are not troubleshooting, troubleshooting is difficult to find.

ZoomInfo is great for new account managers to build up contact lists to be able to reach more people within a company to get meetings to drive business. The Org Chart breaks it down very easily to know which contacts you need to reach depending on what solutions you have to offer. You no longer need to blindly reach out to everyone and hope you are getting to the right people.
