We use it as a tool to help easily get a hold of prospects within our top 100 organizations and to penetrate each account deeper through research of organization charts and territories. Using the mobile number feature has increased our connect rates by 5x and allowed us to qualify and disqualify many more prospects through cold outbound attempts.

Anytime where your sales team is actively looking to penetrate new accounts, new contacts, or cold leads, ZoomInfo will be an ultimate data provider. It works very well using a Linkedin Connect tool or simply through their online portal. This is also extremely useful when a contact on the phone tells you a better contact, you don't have to ask for their contact info, you can simply just use ZoomInfo to pull that data for you. The only time where it doesn't make sense is when your budget doesn't allow for it.

We use ZoomInfo for lead generation and accessing contact information for leads. With ZoomInfo, we save countless hours of time finding emails and phone numbers in particular. We also use ZoomInfo for account research to better understand the companies we would like to sell to. We use this to feed information into Salesforce so that it can be easily utilized.

ZoomInfo works very well [for] pulling a large quantity of lead contact information. Using ZoomInfo may be less appropriate when conducting outreach through Linkedin. This is because ZoomInfo does not connect to Linkedin.

ZoomInfo is such a time saver for us in sales as we research leads, companies, and prospects- to just be on a website and click on the extension to get whatever we need- it saves time and makes us faster and better. Zoominfo is amazing and I’ve only scratched the surface with the “intent” feature, the website function is amazing! It lets me see who hits our website and allows me to zero in on the prospect(s).

Our Marketing, Sales, and Leadership team use ZoomInfo. For Marketing, ZoomInfo allows us to see who is on our website and who has active intent to buy. Since we are industry agnostic, it helps us filter down to the [low-hanging] fruit. We make all of our digital marketing decisions based on intent, [scoop, and websites] data. Our sales team utilizes Zoom for the contact information in their target accounts. Our leadership team uses insights and scoops to monitor our current customers to make sure they're not researching new brokers, and they utilize the mobile app to prepare for upcoming prospect meetings.

Finding phone numbers is hard especially in these times. ZoomInfo has the info, they have tight integration into SFDC, and multiple ways to access this info. Highly recommended. They have intent data, contact info, and news on companies. A [one-stop] shop for making the sales discovery process more efficient. The export and uploading is a snap, one click, and the contact is loaded. SWEET!

Navigation within news is clumsy. it takes some time to get used to the way they display news, and there are other sources that are deeper, but having it all in one place is great.

I love the fact that it seamlessly integrates with my other technologies which [makes] my prospecting process extremely easy. When we want to look for employee email and phone information, we can find the information. We also use the list and filtering to prospect accounts and people based on what industry we are targeting/filter by technology as well.

If trying to build a list, ZoomInfo is great. When looking for contact information, many times the info is not updated and also many people are missing from LinkedIn prospecting.

I have used it as a rep to research business for reach outs/ insights. [Currently,] I am helping our team by working on ways to enable them to use Zoominfo to help with their roles. I believe some of the problems would be the knowledge of all the opportunities this tool provides/ how to apply. There [are] so many ways to incorporate into Grooves/LinkedIn and yet, knowing how to better filter, pull, and continue to utilize, is where I see opportunity.

  • There are lots of buttons and some simplification would be appreciated in the user interface
ZoomInfo is great for finding leads quickly using the org chart function. I [don't] always excel inaccuracy, as many of the leads I've found have moved to other companies. Perhaps I don't know how to do this, but if there was a way to upload all accounts under my name from SalesForce and then automatically use that as a search filter, that would save me time.

We use Zoominfo to prospect companies and contacts who could utilize this service. My team and I use Zoominfo on a daily basis.

  • Chrome Reach out extension is for quick access to company and contact info
  • Importing contacts into Salesforce from Sales Navigator with the Chrome ReachOut extension
  • I often have to go to other extensions to find contact email or phone info that is out there, but for some reason, ZoomInfo does not have it. That is my biggest struggle.
I use ZoomInfo every day and it is very helpful with prospecting. I typically start my prospecting in Sales Navigator and then export to Salesforce via ZoomInfo. I have not had as much experience using ZoomInfo to start my prospecting, but that is due to my process which I would like to optimize. I believe I am only utilizing about 50% of ZoomInfo's potential at this time and I would like to make that number much higher. That is on me, not ZoomInfo. The [training is] helpful and I learn by doing, so I need to get into the platform and not just the extension more often.

We use ZoomInfo to find the best leads to contact. We can easily find our ICP as well as the Accounts that we want to go after. Also, my users are able to grab a few records each and every day without any issues. In addition, we leverage Enrich to update our existing database.

This turned into a POV, then a Win. My whole team was thrilled. Since then, many of our users have leveraged the Intent data with great success.

Our company uses ZoomInfo to cross-reference prospects that fit our criteria and might be a good fit [by] offering our program to their employees. Also, ZoomInfo [is] used to find brokers that can be great partners [by] helping to open doors with their clients.

This saves countless hours in finding contact info since ZoomInfo has everything necessary in one place. The scope of my case is finding new hires with a business email that may work well without the company.

I can't believe I was prospecting, especially during the pandemic without Zoominfo. The information on contacts and company projects alone would have saved days of research. If you don't have access to Zoominfo, get it. If you can connect to a Salesforce account the more value you will get

I love how quickly I can find the information on a company and/or individual that I am looking for. I find outbound prospects and companies to reach out to for a free demo of our HR talent management software. I'm on ZoomInfo daily for prospecting and mass important hundreds of contacts a week.
  • Most companies that exist are on ZoomInfo I feel.
  • Many contacts have multiple phone numbers I can call them on.
  • It's easy to mass import many contacts from ZoomInfo into Salesforce.
  • Sometimes contacts' emails bounce or are incorrect.
  • Sometimes the provided phone numbers are not for the correct organization. Example: when I reach out to cities/municipalities, the HQ line often given is the police department, not the city itself where the prospect is employed. Or it's a city with the same name in a different state. A real example is Windsor, CO vs Windsor, CT.
  • I feel like it takes a while for ZoomInfo to update information if someone no longer works at an organization. It will say they're still employed there when I'm told they haven't worked there for a long time now.
The reason I am successful at my job as an ADR is [that] I rely on the info in ZoomInfo. It's the main form of prospect sourcing I use to call/email people and complete my job tasks. So daily I use it and have success.
