I use ZoomInfo Sales OS to help build lists of decision makers. I am looking for B2B decision makers that can benefit from our services. This helps create email lists and it also helps me with active outreach. Often, the contacts and information on the company are accurate.
  • Detailed information about companies, often with accurate contact details
  • Linkedin profiles are present on most contacts.
  • Pharmacies have very little data. Hard to find what you are looking for.
  • Often companies are in multiple industries. This can be confusing.

I believe ZoomInfo is useful for prospecting into larger corporations, for example the Mid Market or Enterprise markets. But our company is primarily SMB, so the information for the companies we prospect into is sometimes outdated.

We use ZoomInfo for a few different functions. We support business development and inside sales by monitoring intent data for specific industries and then vet prospects using LinkedIn accounts and other social media links provided by ZoomInfo. Our sales team can then make contact with these prospects using the various methods of communication provided. We also utilize the database to find hard to reach professionals for research studies.
  • Intent data is actionable and current.
  • The volume of contacts.
  • The "most likely to engage" feature provides a glimpse into the easiest way to reach prospects.
  • I would like to see more frequent updates to contact profiles. I have found numerous contacts with outdated information. Reporting inaccuracies needs to be made easier. There are updates that cannot be reported because I don't know the new information that should replace the outdated information.
  • Working with a team inside ZoomInfo is difficult. My team does not need to have the same contact information and we especially do not need to be charged for obtaining the same contact information as other members of our team. It would be great if there was a team function (other than public tags) where we could share contact pools and contribute to combined lists of prospects that have been exported. It would also be great if there was a way to list every contact that was exported by my team all in one place that we could then segment by tag or date.
  • Sometimes intent data points to a location where ZoomInfo has no contacts.
  • I would love to see org charts based on location.
  • There are issues with tagging. I have created public tags that my team members cannot access. (This goes back to my team suggestion.)
  • The events section needs more accurate and detailed information. We rely heavily on trade shows for networking. The trade shows listed contain very few actual exhibitors. For example, there is no information about the National Restaurant Association show which had over 35000 visitors and over 1500 exhibitors. The Natural Products EXPO West which had over 57000 visitors and over 2700 exhibitors. The SEMA show for 2023 isn't listed either and the SEMA show for 2022 lists only 178 exhibitors out of over 1500.
I think ZoomInfo is great for sales prospecting. Following intent data and vetting prospects provide actionable information for sales reps.

I use ZoomInfo to get contact info of prospects and I use the intents to know who is probably in the buying process of our products. I also use the different filters to find company that would be our ICP for various reasons (funding, anniversary, new role, etc.). I also use some of the course available on Zoom Info to help learn more on the OB process.

ZoomInfo SalesOS is used to help uncover critical information related to target companies such as annual revenue, locations, and company size. What is more critical though is how we use ZoomInfo to find prospects that fit our ideal customer profile and gather their contact information for sales and marketing efforts.

This information allows us to find new prospective customers and the right contacts at those companies, making our goal of consistent growth a reality.
  • Provide business contact information
  • Provide data on company size, growth, revenue, etc.
  • Find similar companies to ones you already know in order to broaden your target list.
  • Better crossover between users internally. This has improved over the years, but there still can be some duplication of work
  • WebSights - great tool, but far too often am I unable to nail down the exact location the browsing came from
  • Advanced support for niche industries - ZoomInfo does not always recognize the industries or technologies that many industrial, manufacturing, and construction companies use.
Anyone who is prospecting needs to have ZoomInfo. It is the best tool for uncovering prospects and its not even close. I have used many other tools in this space, and the quality and quantity of information found from ZoomInfo is above and beyond what others offer.

.ZoomInfo SalesOS enables me to obtain the contact information of the specific job titles I am seeking to speak with instead of having to call or email blindly and possibly be transferred between departments based on the person answering the phone and/or email. What I like best about ZoomInfo SalesOS is the search saving function. It's great that you can upload contacts and add them to an email drip campaign with minimal effort. The interface is straightforward, and it's easy to transfer "opened" emails to a more personalized Salesflow strategy once they've interacted with your content a few times. Narrowing your target audience by job title and role increases the level of customization, and expected return call and/or email from prospects.

ZoomInfo was the obvious all-inclusive option when we were looking for a solution that combined all the various search options we had at our fingertips. Our sales team was using a half dozen different engines to be able to manually enter leads in our CRM. ZoomInfo cut that down to ONE solution, SalesOS! Now, me and my team save countless hours prospecting. With just a few clicks, we can find and add prospects to our daily efforts. With its Advanced Search feature, we are able to build lists that incrementally add new prospects as they are found, all based on our specific parameters. To say that ZoomInfo has been a game-changer is a gross understatement! ZoomInfo IS the GAME!

We use ZoomInfo SalesOS primarily for prospecting. The main business challenge we were hoping to solve was the lack of access to current information for key accounts and related contacts. It's used by myself and the SDR team for researching key accounts. We also find the WebSights capability very useful to monitor, in near real-time, what organizations are looking at on our website.

  • Sharing a "saved intent" with another ZoomInfo user.
  • "Chorus" feature is usually not helpful/working.
Very helpful for US/domestic research for larger organizations and manager-level contacts and above. Outside the US, it will not be so enriched. Very helpful for business emails for key contacts, and often includes personal email, although we don't use personal email. The intent feature was really the standout feature that swung us to decide to use ZoomInfo. It's helpful to have some predictive indication of what accounts to target.

Account and contact enrichment are used for prospecting by marketing and sales.
  • Comprehensive data set across firmographic and contact info. Works well as a one-stop shop if breadth vs. accuracy is the goal.
  • Multiple integrations (CRM, API) allow different levels of detail/access to different end-users (sales exec vs. analytics team).
  • New Platform UI has some poor decisions -- for example, filter options move when selected, making quick selections down a list needlessly laborious.
  • Although there has been some improvement, corrections submitted to ZoomInfo are not resolved in a transparent manner. Generic email without details of whether accepted or not.
  • International data remains a weak point compared to more specialized vendors.
  • Totally missing "modern" industry classifications like FinTech, Ed-tech, SaaS etc.
  • Credit system is arguably outdated and confusing.
ZoomInfo is a comprehensive, one-stop show for a lot of company and contact data, but it comes a steep price compared with newer competition, which frequently offers more tailored data sets that speak to "modern" account classification and segmentation.

We research hospital and education facilities, sometimes long-term care. We often export 25 people a day and update information in our CRM instance.
  • Categorize people by reachability.
  • Make updating information easy with exporting.
  • Workflows.

  • Descriptions are way too long.
  • Workflows only work for new people added to a saved view.
  • Exporting people is easy to duplicate people based on spelling.
ZoomInfo SalesOS is very hard to use for Education because most teachers do not have LinkedIn or social media. It is effective at finding large corporate companies and their employees. Smaller organizations are often not easy to track.

I would use ZoomInfo SalesOS once your company is large enough that it can handle these larger companies' business because that's where ZoomInfo SalesOS has good info.

We use it across all sales departments to find contact information for IB and OB leads. I can't imagine doing our jobs without some form of data provider, we wouldn't get in touch with anyone unorganically.

It started out well, then it was it was a.tumultuous experience three months in. My original support team switched out multiple times, and I didn't always get an immediate response. When I spoke up about it, the answer was to give me more bandwidth (more usage points) for ZoomInfo. While this was a great gesture, it did not cover up the fact that I gave up on figuring out who my dedicated advisor became. Also, as a side note Zoom Data isn't as reliable as I remembered it being in the beginning. The answer? Its my understanding that there is a way to click on a link to alert Zoom info that data needs to be updated. Is that really my job? How long do I wait for the change and what does that follow up look like? For the price I paid for 1 year--- Zoom is a decent system but the price supersedes the value it brought me personally. My experience was rocky.

I have found ZoomInfo SalesOS to be a comprehensive sales and marketing intelligence tool that provides me with access to a vast database of companies and their contact information.
I typically use it as a lead generation tool to help me identify and generate leads using the contact info for potential customers. I have found it to also provide me with valuable insights into target accounts, offering information on key decision-makers. Additionally, it helps me with my market segmentation by industry, location, size, etc...Zoominfo has proved to enrich my CRM, which has helped me stay up-to-date with accurate information about the companies. The ZoomInfo platform has also helped me stay competitive by providing me with insights into the competition whether by tracking their activities, mentions etc.. which has also helped me prioritize my leads and prospect engagement.
It is a must for any organization - with an excellent ROI.

ZoomInfo is very well suited when it comes to business intelligence as well as finding the right contact (although some info is outdated, and not all companies are included) ZoomInfo is never less appropriate - there is always something thatto learn from the platform.

ZoomInfo addresses the challenges of finding and sourcing our leads that have actual interest in our services. I use it daily and can't imagine trying to create my lead sheets without it. I will continue to use daily.

I use Zoom info for business prospecting. It works great, is easy to conduct searches and the contact information is complete and up to date. If far exceeds the competition when it comes to accurate information. I also use it to track companies that are giving buying signals that align with my company.

  • When updating saved searches make sure to send only contacts within the saved geographical location of the search.
It is well suited for anyone that is in sales/prospecting. Easy to use and accurate and complete information.

Prospecting can be challenging and usually is time-consuming. We use ZoomInfo to cut that time down for our employees and Sales staff. With ZoomInfo, we can set up lists of possible contacts to hit our inbox automatically, and by setting up our lists in advance, the work is done for us. It is such a time saver for our organization and we are using that time to connect with prospects provided by ZoomInfo.

If you are in need of a tool that finds and prospects for you, this solution will do much of the work for you. It is easy to set up different types of contacts you want to receive based on many different indicators/factors, and once you have that setup, information and more contacts continue to flow to your inbox and account automatically.

  • CRM Integration for contacts could be improved, every day I have my lists to exclude my HubSpot contacts, but there are still a noticeable amount that show up on my list. The same goes for contacts that I have already exported and have opted to leave them out of my search.
