We use ZoomInfo so we can find the right contacts at the correct organization. We use it for the entire Sales team. We use it to find contacts, confirm contacts, and find deep info on our prospects. We also find the intent very useful as well.

We use ZoomInfo across our Sales and Marketing teams. We use ZoomInfo both for prospecting net new accounts and contacts as well as updating and enriching existing accounts and contacts. We have ZoomInfo integrated with SFDC to make a seamless experience for users and use the tool within the system of record.

ZoomInfo is great for teams who are looking for their users to be proactive and find new prospects, as well as update existing ones. ZoomInfo has many other features that help make the Sales team's life easier such as Intent Signals and email/in-app alerts to follow targeted news topics, technology specifications, and rounds of funding to target the right accounts at the right time.

We are using ZoomInfo to develop a more modern sales lead generation and prospecting strategy. We have been almost completely reliant on cold calls - largely in-person walk ins - for most of our company's history, so incorporating ZoomInfo into our sales teams daily work flow is helping us to develop a more dynamic, modern sales strategy.

  • Helps us discover the right person to reach out to in each marketing, especially with companies headquartered in other cities.
  • ZoomInfo has also helped our collections department find the right people regarding delinquent payment.
  • It is costly for a company our size.
  • Some of the information in our smaller and medium-size market isn't as accurate as larger markets despite the A+ rating on many of the contacts.
Our company has hired a handful of new sales reps recently - smack in the middle of the Covid-19 lock downs. Also, being a business focused on staffing light-industrial and manufacturing companies, our territories tend to be very spread out. Our new reps have been able to use ZoomInfo to help them focus on finding the right companies and internal contacts prior to getting on the road, currently a requirement of our reps.
We are still very new to ZoomInfo, so I have not seen a scenario where to the platform is inappropriate for us quite yet.

ZoomInfo is being used by our Marketing Department in order to support our Sales Teams. Marketing works with the Sales Leaders to understand their growth opportunities and use the ZoomInfo database to nurture warm leads by passing them off to our Sales Teams. It addresses problems such as engaging in new business development opportunities that our Sales teams were not able to initiate before because they did not have the appropriate contact. It helps us to grow wallet share and grow business development opportunities by ensuring we are engaging with the right decision-makers in our customer-base.

ZoomInfo is well suited for our Digital Marketing purposes. It allows us to be more intentional and strategic in targeting granular audiences.

It is less appropriate because we own the tool in Marketing and want to be the liaison for the tool between Sales and Marketing therefore we do not need the additional add-ons such as the InboxAI.

Currently we are using Zoominfo with our sales organization to identify target prospects. We like to do a multi-touch approach in prospecting and downloading prospects into SFDC, and Outreach allows for us to do that.

It's been used in order to make quick and efficient market researches and also for collecting large amounts of potential leads in a short term of time. From our personal experience, ZoomInfo is by far the most efficient tool to use for those use cases.

ZoomInfo is used across all Sales team to help build out contacts within prospect accounts. It helps us get to the right person much quicker than solely leveraging LinkedIn or any other tool. It also helps us stay alert within the accounts we are targeting with valuable features like scoops and intent.
  • Scoops: Helps us get alerts on prospect account that are looking for solutions we can offer.
  • Intent: By far one of the best features. We select specific intent criteria for what our prospects will be looking for and it gives that intent a specific surge score. Priceless!
  • Contacts: Their contacts include mobile numbers! Not to mention the accuracy is bar none the best in the industry.
  • Better synchronization to Salesforce. Importing and exporting contacts.
  • I would like to see a LinkedIn integration at some point.
  • Thats all
ZoomInfo is extremely useful for building out vast personas across different product offerings quickly. Their Scoops and Intent features are priceless. From an efficiency standpoint, ZoomInfo has allowed us to become more agile in our sales processes and in most cases helped us get to the right person quickly.

ZoomInfo is used to auto enrich leads, contacts, and accounts with their database information across our entire org. We also use it for account creation by our Sales team and parent-child structuring. We also use it for territory mapping and management.

  • Expensive, tends to charge for every little thing.
  • Wish there was time stamping for when things were enriched.
  • Customer support usually just tries to sell you things without solving problems.
ZoomInfo works great as an enrichment solution for smaller orgs; it's easy to set up and use. However, once you start running thousands of records at a time, things get harder to manage and more expensive. We also love that we are able to import account information directly from ZoomInfo. This prevents Sales from making weird rogue accounts with no information.

We use Zoominfo in our Marketing and Sales departments. We have a niche audience, so Zoominfo has been invaluable by allowing us to target people who need our products. We consistently add contacts every day and use those audiences in our Facebook campaigns using the beta testing Zoominfo/FB integration.
  • Connects social accounts with companies: allows us to be present in multiple ways.
  • Integrations with HubSpot and Facebook: easy to add contacts to our email list and add them to social campaigns.
  • Ease of use: Zoominfo is very intuitive and doesn't take long to find the contacts/audiences I need.
  • Integrate other social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. I know this is a work in progress.
If a company is online (which, in this day and age, every company should be online), then they should use Zoominfo to target the right audience for them. I can't think of any reason why having contacts who are relevant to your product or service would not be beneficial.

My Sales team uses ZoomInfo to identify qualified decision-makers and obtain contact information. It is being used by a select group of brokers. The biggest problem that it addresses is verifying contacts with accurate email and phone information.

We are currently using it in the sales department in our prospecting efforts. In this effort we use it to identify ideal customer fits, then find the appropriate contacts within said companies, then engage to assess the fit/interest. We are in the process of reviewing WebSights to see if we can get our Marketing team engaged with ZoomInfo as well. If we decide to proceed down this route Marketing would use ZoomInfo WebSights to do further analysis of website visitors.
  • Content data is relevant and reliable.
  • Scoops are extremely helpful to create talking points.
  • Always updating and staying current.
  • Does not break down companies at the subsidiary level.
  • Would love for their contact hierarchy to be more detailed/updated.
Well suited:
  • Creating a filtered search to find ideal customers and the contacts at the said companies.
  • Creating notifications to receive updates of lists you created and news updates for companies on the list (Scoops).

My Inside Sales department uses ZoomInfo. It has helped us get deeper and wider into current and new accounts for our organization.
  • Provides hierarchy for companies.
  • Provides direct contact information for individuals.
  • Links directly with LinkedIn Navigator.
  • More accurate hierarchy charts. We know someone works for a said organization but when looking it up in ZoomInfo, that person is not listed.
If you are in sales, ZoomInfo is the way to go! The level of detail and the integration between LinkedIn Navigator really helps my team strengthen their search. We have been able to get to contacts that we weren't before. ZoomInfo has really helped my organization get deeper and wider into existing accounts as well as new accounts we have been seeking.

ZoomInfo is primarily used by the marketing and sales teams. Our BDRs use it for prospecting and target outreach. We also use the platform for data enrichment to enhance lead records and update our CRM. ZoomInfo solves two critical problems for us, 1. It gives us contact information to enhance contact and connection rates, and 2. It provides intent data for targeted outreach moving us beyond spray and pray style outreach.
  • Their contact information tends to be more accurate than other data providers. They tend to have more direct lines, mobile phone numbers an alternative email addresses than what I've seen with other data companies.
  • The intent data helps with targeted outreach. This is something I feel is unique for data services company like theres.
  • The background they provide on technology use and news scoops is another feature we use heavily for target outreach.
  • Like all data companies, not ever record is correct. I feel like the amount of bad contacts has increased during COVID with increased furlough and job transitions. However, I doubt this issue is unique to their platform at this time.
  • Intent data alerts are somewhat inconsistent. The timing of the email alerts and frequency doesn't always match the scheduled settings.
Over my career I've used a handful of companies for data. ZoomInfo is the most accurate and feature-rich platform in my opinion. They also provide training that takes the burden off our team to educate users, we leave it up to them. Their team also meets with ours regularly to answer questions, keep us informed, and yes sell us more stuff.

We are using it across the sales and business development department in the US. As an international company operating in the US, we found customer base and behavior very different from other regional markets. Therefore, a high quality and cost-effective database tool becomes essential. We use Zoominfo to filter out customer segments so that we can ground-start US business with a much-focused customer group.
  • Comprehensive coverage of industry, location, and company profiles
  • Intent and scoops add more granularity to the search
  • International data looks good
  • 1000 credits per head in the bundle is too limited for hunter's team
  • About 30% bouncing rate, which is a waste of money
  • Intent feature is not well integrated with advanced search
  • Expensive
If we do not need to take care of the cost, I would give a score of 10, as the software does its job. I didn't feel Zoominfo and its rivals have much different - they try to rip you off by selling essential data you need.

ZoomInfo is used in our organization to find and qualify leads. Our sales development team uses it on a daily basis. They are constantly searching for new opportunities through their robust set of tools that allows them to filter and narrow down certain industries.
  • ZoomInfo has the contacts you are looking for.
  • They give the information that may not be given through other vendors like added details of company growth, revenue, and employee organization.
  • They are always trying to find a way to support you. I am receiving constant support from their team.
  • Some of the contacts are outdated. They may need to be updated.
  • Oftentimes there are people who may be upset with you for calling them with the contact info found on the directory.
  • Some of the filtering tools could have more categories to choose from, especially in the service industry.
ZoomInfo is perfect for sales teams that are looking for new leads where they have a defined target market or people they are looking for. It may not be a good fit for consumer-based marketing.

For anyone in the B2B space, ZoomInfo is the way to go. The salesforce integration is amazing and helps with territory management, and the data is always complete and up-to-date. If you are looking to contact lower level contributors the data gets scarce, but when it comes to manager level and above, this is the ultimate tool.

We use ZoomInfo to get contact information for our outbound sales process. Not only do they have excellent contact information for people at our target accounts, we also get great insights into what technologies our prospects currently use, the size of the company, how successful they’ve been recently, etc. It’s a great tool and all sales orgs should look into it.

We have a few licenses, mostly in the marketing department and a few in our sales department as well. Sales Reps reach out to me to get lists of companies they would like to target in their business development plan. They come back to me after with a refined list to get relevant contacts' information. We also use WebSights, where we see the behaviours and companies visiting our website. Another great feature is the topics trending among the prospects; so we can retarget them on social media or in any on-going campaigns. One of the great features I find super useful is the "enhance" of lists; ZoomInfo basically fills out the blanks within a spreadsheet pertaining to company information.

A great database of companies and contacts that is super useful for sales and business development. Relevant contacts to a company searched is also displayed together with their social media (LinkedIn) profiles. Easy to use, and lots of resources and training available. ZoomInfo is the best!

It is just used by me, in the sales department. It primarily helps us create contact lists for us to reach out to through call or email. ZoomInfo has really saved me a lot of time compared to other tools that I would make me do the email gathering process manually.
  • Gather Large Lists
  • Extremely Accurate Info
  • Easily compatible with HubSpot
  • New contact information created at a higher frequency
  • Sorting could be simplified (there's a lot of information which is great, but just needs to be more easily condensed)
  • I would like the default location setting to be only US
Zoominfo is well suited for building large contact lists. Because we don't have the "intent" feature in our plan, I don't really use it for that. However, I would like the scoops to be a little more simplified. As of now, it hasn't been great for finding information about our target buyers.
