Zoominfo is so far the most reliable B2B Sales platform that provides our sales and marketing team with quality leads and contact information about our desired prospects. One major plus, especially after exploring other platforms, is the seamless integration with other platforms like our CRM, G2 Crowd, Outreach, etc. Also, with features like intent data, advance filters, workflows, tracker etc. I'm really able to do tasks automatically or filter through millions of target to the ideal ICP and take meaningful actions on it. I believe it's also very user friendly with an easy to understand interface, compared to some other platforms that could be too busy.

For prospecting, market research, contact information of your ICPs. Zoominfo info is absolutely great, also if you use a CRM like Salesforce, you can map out fields to anything you design. It's great for the Sales team and research team to use. Also if you deal with a lot of csvs, I'll recommend uploading first to ZoomInfo to match and accurately fill out the companies or contacts info better before exporting into your CRM through Zoominfo to avoid duplication and bad data. We cleaned out thousands of duplicates recently and ZoomInfo was helpful with this.

We use ZoomInfo SalesOS to identify new logo sales opportunities. The search features within ZoomInfo SalesOS allow us to really get granular with the type of companies and contacts we are looking to target.
  • Their advanced search features allows for a lot of granularity
  • The Workflows feature allows for easy imports of specific companies and contacts that we want to target
  • The enrich feature is amazing at keeping our data clean and up to date!
  • We would like to be able to have an option where we can separate our AMER users from EMEIA and APAC users and the data that is available to them. We want to make sure that AMER data is not available to EMEIA and vice-versa. This is helpful for compliance and GDPR rules
  • I would like to see the Workflows feature have the approval queue available again. We don't want users to create just any kind of workflow with out some kind of oversight from an admin. Otherwise they risk brining in incomplete data and wasting credits.
  • For the Instant Enrich feature; as an admin I would like to be able to make changes to the mappings more easily. Right now we have a dedicated API user set up for the connection. But anytime we need to make changes I have to login as that user and that can be tricky given our SSO login.

We use ZoomInfo for prospecting companies and leads. We've been using it for a little over 2 years with BDRs and RSMs as our primary users. We also enrich our database using ZoomInfo through our integration with Hubspot. Recently, we've also added on Intent as well as the Workflows product, which our BDR team is incorporating more into their process.
  • Best contact info compared to competitors.
  • Integrates across our tech stack and integrations are reliable for the most part.
  • Intent data is seen as a differentiator by our BDR team.
  • More customizations on the integration side to Hubspot and Salesforce, how data is enriched and fields are mapped
  • Credit distribution being required across the team keeps us from getting the most out of our total credits. AEs do need to be able to find contact info and prospect when needed, but they're not going to use 1000 credits per month.
From what I've heard on the market, the contact info on ZoomInfo is still the most accurate so I would recommend it to a more mature sales organization that is willing to pay more for an effective prospecting solution.

I work as an internal admin for ZoomInfo in our company. One of my day to day task is to provision new users and deprovision inactive users in our company. Also I do lead cleansing using ZoomInfo to get certain company details such as address, employee size and industry. Been using this for 3 yeas and this software is the one we trust to be our data source.

  • One thing that I noticed is the Integration of ZoomInfo with other tools, sometimes data syncing is not working.
Zoominfo SalesOS is well suited for sales and marketing purposes such as lead update since you can obtain work emails and phone numbers. Been using ZoomInfo for 3 years already, so far I don't have any inappropriate experience with ZoomInfo.

Currently, we use ZoomInfo SalesOS as our #1 contact and account data source. We also tap into ZoomInfo SalesOS intent as our main intent source. We use this as a foundation to fuel campaigns and source individual contacts for our target accounts. Of particular interest and relevance to our segmentation strategy is the accessibility of Alexa rank as a data point.

ZoomInfo SalesOS is a must-have as a primary data source, especially if the US/NA is your primary geography. That said, I always recommend using 2 or 3 data sources. Also good as the primary intent source, but again, I recommend using 2 to 3 intent sources. ZoomInfo SalesOS intent and G2 intent are a good combination.

We use ZoomInfo SalesOS to validate our potential prospects. We also use the product to scope out opportunities and explore lookalike companies within the same space. We also use this service to ensure our prospects information is up to date. ZoomInfo SalesOS makes it easy to set up automated routing rules to our CRM. This allows the Sales experience to be quick and easy.
  • The ability to export straight to Salesforce is invaluable for our Sales team

Another great feature is the ability to export directly to your CRM this makes the marketing process so much easier. We use ZoomInfo SalesOS not only for our prospecting efforts but also for their Intent data and Enrich product for our Salesforce database cleanup/inbound lead enrichment. We have 3 different Sales teams using the product(SDR's, Commercial Sales Reps and Regional Sales Managers)--our ICP ranges from companies $100M in annual revenue and above. ZoomInfo SalesOS helps us get accurate contact data for these segments and helps us keep Salesforce clean and up-to-date.

We have also added their websights tag onto our website to uncover which companies are looking at our website. It has been a great prospecting tool.

We use ZoomInfo SalesOS primarily for prospecting. The main business challenge we were hoping to solve was the lack of access to current information for key accounts and related contacts. It's used by myself and the SDR team for researching key accounts. We also find the WebSights capability very useful to monitor, in near real-time, what organizations are looking at on our website.

Very helpful for US/domestic research for larger organizations and manager-level contacts and above. Outside the US, it will not be so enriched. Very helpful for business emails for key contacts, and often includes personal email, although we don't use personal email. The intent feature was really the standout feature that swung us to decide to use ZoomInfo. It's helpful to have some predictive indication of what accounts to target.

Account and contact enrichment are used for prospecting by marketing and sales.
  • Comprehensive data set across firmographic and contact info. Works well as a one-stop shop if breadth vs. accuracy is the goal.
  • Multiple integrations (CRM, API) allow different levels of detail/access to different end-users (sales exec vs. analytics team).
  • New Platform UI has some poor decisions -- for example, filter options move when selected, making quick selections down a list needlessly laborious.
  • Although there has been some improvement, corrections submitted to ZoomInfo are not resolved in a transparent manner. Generic email without details of whether accepted or not.
  • International data remains a weak point compared to more specialized vendors.
  • Totally missing "modern" industry classifications like FinTech, Ed-tech, SaaS etc.
  • Credit system is arguably outdated and confusing.
ZoomInfo is a comprehensive, one-stop show for a lot of company and contact data, but it comes a steep price compared with newer competition, which frequently offers more tailored data sets that speak to "modern" account classification and segmentation.

We use it across all sales departments to find contact information for IB and OB leads. I can't imagine doing our jobs without some form of data provider, we wouldn't get in touch with anyone unorganically.

I have found ZoomInfo SalesOS to be a comprehensive sales and marketing intelligence tool that provides me with access to a vast database of companies and their contact information.
I typically use it as a lead generation tool to help me identify and generate leads using the contact info for potential customers. I have found it to also provide me with valuable insights into target accounts, offering information on key decision-makers. Additionally, it helps me with my market segmentation by industry, location, size, etc...Zoominfo has proved to enrich my CRM, which has helped me stay up-to-date with accurate information about the companies. The ZoomInfo platform has also helped me stay competitive by providing me with insights into the competition whether by tracking their activities, mentions etc.. which has also helped me prioritize my leads and prospect engagement.
It is a must for any organization - with an excellent ROI.

ZoomInfo is very well suited when it comes to business intelligence as well as finding the right contact (although some info is outdated, and not all companies are included) ZoomInfo is never less appropriate - there is always something thatto learn from the platform.

I do about 95% outbound prospecting and 5% inbound. For inbound, I need to search for phone numbers and verify emails, as well as company revenue. For outbound, I am searching for contacts for select accounts that I work with. I need to identify the personas and contact information.

  • The contacts listed in "Intent" is just a best "guess" who might be interested in your industry.
  • It sometimes provides results for companies I am not filtering for.

I am from sales development team, so reaching out to the potential customers is the important part of the job. So Zoominfo helps to profile the prospects from the target accounts. The biggest help that Zoominfo provides is in prospecting the target accounts. Reaching out to prospect whose contact is not there with us, it is so easy with zoominfo. Its advanced filter options makes it really convenient to search from the thousands of accounts. Its tag feature allows to group selected prospects based on criteria, which can be later accessed. This helps in organizing the task.

Since we have to deal with account prospecting for south India region, cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad have thousands of mid market accounts which are potential customers. So it's not practically possible to have contacts from all the target companies. So, here zoominfo plays a very important role in reaching out to the prospects from these accounts. We are just given the names of the target companies and with the help of zoominfo, we can profile the accounts and reach out to the prospects, giving a huge boost to the business.

CRM sales data is often incomplete with several missing fields such as employee count, industry, etc. Zoominfo company information is used to enhance CRM data as well as for sales data analysis. I have also used it occasionally for market analysis. The contact database is also often used in demand generation and targeting efforts.

  • Chrome extension does not work half the time
  • They have an employee range on the company page. For the longest time, I did not realize that you can hover on the employee range to see the actual count. Instead of hiding it thus, it should be more prominently placed
  • I have sometimes seen that the web version of Zoominfo can have different employee counts
Overall, it is a decent system which integrates with various CRMs, making it very useful. It is also good for targeting exercises.
However, it is not the best system if accuracy is important. Also, Zoominfo is good for simple searches but the advanced search functionality is not very good.
I have also found at times that when I search a company through Zoominfo, it may not yield any results, but when I do a Google search, the Zoominfo result is among the first 10 hits. So, the way they tag companies or enter them is not very effective.

-Zoominfo helps us to target the right set of customers, identify the right set of personas to reach out to, import their details to our CRM and then run email campaigns on the same.This is the best toll for Cold Prospecting out there.I have actually used Slintel, SmartE ect but nothing compares to Zoominfo especially since they moved away from the legacy version
  • Provide details on Revenue of companies
  • Provide details like email ids and Phone numbers of Possible personas in an account to target
  • provides scoops on articles etc which helps personalize the emails to be sent with the target Company's vision
  • Gives info on the tech stack currently employed at the target Company
  • Export of more than 25 contacts to Salesforce/Outreach should be facilitated
  • Updation of Contacts who have left the Organization needs to be faster
  • There should also be a mapping for Parent organization and its subsidiaries ehich is not present as of now
-Zoominfo has the most accurate data when it comes to any Geo be it Americas, the DACH region, Benelux region, UK, Nordics region and even SEA and ANZ. This was a major differentiator when it came to choosing solutions for our team here at Adobe as all other platforms were only consistent with data for the Americas Geo.

ZoomInfo SalesOS is a great place to get started on an outbound campaign. It has more than enough information on the company and employees to give you a headstart on your prospecting.
It could use the addition of industry information somewhere in the organization's overview tab. A quick rundown of what is happening, current market trends, or challenges and pains that they might be up against.
