Zscaler Intenet Access outperformed the competition due to its lightning-fast policy delivery and cross-compatibility. It is easy to track employee usage and block unnecessary websites, reducing company internet usage. Zscalar installed on every system increases cloud-based software bandwidth, decreasing user turnaround time and increasing efficiency.
Fortinet's hosted solution is not really supported in my opinion. Opening a ticket for hosted firewall is a pain and even during the POC phase we had to work with engineers who really didn't understand our use case and we were not really happy with the way they presented the solution.

Zscaler Intenet Access proved to be superior and the difference for us was the speed of policy delivery since your policy is applied in a web console and is effective in a matter of seconds. Another point to congratulate the solution is its compatibility with different platforms (macOS, Linux, Windows, Android, and iOS).

Great for Remote and Distributed workforces
Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) gives us better and full visibility to websites, URL, requests etc that we didn't get with Cisco Umbrella. We could block things by domain name, but seeing subdirectories and subdomains for that, we didn't have that ability. It's probably there, but we didn't' want to pay for that. ZIA gives us more. Better logging and integration with SIEMs instead of syslog/S3 bucket subscription stuff.
We evaluated Zscaler Internet Access as more attractive on financial side than competitors we evaluated and easier to setup and to use. The interaction with vendor and its partners was also top-notch.

Connect a remote workforce with Zscaler!

Zscaler Internet Access provides security the Enterprises are looking for in today's always connected world
- Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA)
Both are well known but sometime the cost comparison and support out scale each other. Performance wise both are good. Zscaler provided better cost and support terms in our case.

Content Filtering at it's Finest
Initially when we researched Cisco Umbrella we felt that Zscaler came out ahead. Umbrella has made huge improvements since then that we are planning to evaluate again.

Bittersweet Zscaler
The Zscaler solution was selected in order to fulfill the needs of the variety of networks that we manage since the device requirements are so varied. Also, it was required to be as transparent and non-intrusive as possible to improve efficiency. Also, the basic implementation was simple and fast enough.
