Knowing the health of accounts and now individual users has been incredibly helpful in coordinating efforts across all of our customer facing departments. Doubly so when that information makes its way into Salesforce where it can be tied into other systems and automation can be built out to facilitate efforts.

We are able to use the information from Zuora Insights to develop email campaigns to drive user engagement and develop surveys to get more input on what the customers want. We have already learned that the data sometimes tells a different story from long-held beliefs about what customers want.

Zuora Insights has increased visibility across our organization - and this was an unexpected result! By better understanding behaviors of our clients, this has provided the marketing and new business sales teams with information and data to enhance our branding awareness. Statistical information and data regarding our clients have supported our new business sales teams to hit record numbers in the past 12 months - increasing average ARR, reducing sales cycles and overachieving volume. Clients are now more prepared during implementation of our products - therefore reducing time to first value.

So, here the tool has helped in many ways. The challenge is that the exports and the graphs are not that usable. We cannot edit or modify the graphs and so that limits our ability to communicate to our business. However it does allow us to organize accounts by CSM and see some account health metrics however it is only about 15% of what we need to measure health.

Right now, Zuora Insights plays a pretty small role. I do not really ever talk about my findings with either my clients or my account managers that I work with on the accounts. I just record anything that's out of the norm onto the record we keep of customers online.

It's been huge in helping me decide where I need to focus my limited time and resources. Zuora Insights also provides us with models of successful and not so successful opportunities, which in turn assist us in fine tuning the sales process and in training new people for our sales methodology.

We have tied Zuora Insights into our marketing automation and CRM software to bring that data to the same page as all other valuable data on the customer. We have certain automated emails that go out when certain features are engaged. This helps us to be proactive with the Zuora Insights data.

We have provided access to Zuora Insights to our full team, without exception. The main reason is that we consider that anyone in the company should be encouraged to do their research on customers and product success (and failures). This has helped base team communications on hard data, and rely on client managers to provide color on those stats, instead of being the sole owners of the voice of the user.
