Hands down Sequel Pro is one of the best MySQL management apps for MacOS, and the best part is that it's open source and free. It's powerful, with an easy to use GUI which suits developers and database admins of any expertise. It's exclusively meant for folks who use MacOS and require a robust an...

We used MySQL to store website data in database tables and to run queries to show and save data in the database. It is used by the whole organization where required to improve performance.

Amazon RDS is a great service for managing all of your relational database services in a simple manner. In our shift to data analytics and a cloud infrastructure for our applications, RDS was invaluable in providing consistent backend support for all of our applications, both small and large

As an Oracle Database administrator, I perform various activities like software installation, upgrading, patching, data guard configuration, and RMAN. It is very easy to use for someone who is well trained and has experience.

It is very well suited for larger enterprises or for which we have to handle a larger amount of data in less time. It can also be done using Google BigQuery but as Oracle Database12c is quite popular we have preferred this product for our major clients.

It is very well suited as a small data store for lightweight micro-services where there is no need for a complex table structure and database objects. It is not very well suited for applications which perform analytics on a large volume of data in a short span of time and, hence, require a very h...

For quick, single-user data, nothing beats Access. It runs light on a personal computer and can be a great place to keep relational data, provided that data recoverability, availability, and security are not a concern. It's essentially like having inter-related spreadsheets. If an end user in Hum...

Microsoft Access is used by one of my clients to manage a simple ticketing system. Each user who manages the practice tracks daily the motivations of the call, the current state of practice, and progress of this ticket passing between multiple and different states of analysis.
