We currently use HotSchedules as our scheduling managing system. I manage a team of about 40 employees. As each employee has their own login details it gives them access to their account online. We also use HotSchedules inventory and training systems.

It is being used across our whole organization. It does help address budgeting concerns, but it mostly helps with making sure that all our employees can see their schedules and communicate with each other about any scheduling challenges.

We use HotSchedules on a daily basis for posting employee schedules and communicating with the staff. Our employees are able to request specific days off, swap shifts, input their availability and so much more. The biggest business problem that HotSchedules has helped us address is communication,...

HotSchedules is used by every team member within my business. With 70+ team members with different availabilities, varying requests off, varying skills levels, etc., it helps us manage the chaos. It provides more predictability with the schedule from week to week. With HotSchedules, the schedule ...

In the food/beverage/hospitality industry, HotSchedules is a phenomenal tool. It saves time and makes managing a more seamless experience for both manager and employee. It works especially well for FOH applications, as many of the service staff are very tech savvy and pick up the features and abi...

With our current POS, Toast, there is no way I would recommend Breadcrumb to anyone.. Breadcrumb was good in the fact it did just enough to get by, but other than that there was no real appeal in using it. It was very frustrating at times not being able to get problems handled in a timely fashion...

We are a small 27 room hotel, with a restaurant, and it works well for us. Obviously, for larger establishments, it's great too but just goes to show that Hot Schedules can fit any type or size of establishment, and make it [work] for them. Any business that has more than 3 employees could use th...

It is currently only being used by the front of house staff and management. The kitchen is reluctant to use it. It does provide the FOH staff with easy access to their schedule from their mobile device. Management does not like the way a schedule prints out and finds it a bit hard to read, but ov...

HotSchedules is great for budgeting and forecasting, but it's not always easy to export that data and reporting functionality has some room to improve. Messaging on HotSchedules is great, but you can't attach documents and there's a word count limit in the mobile app that gets annoying. I also HA...

HotSchedules is wonderful for a restaurant that has lunch and dinner shifts and has consistent business allowing them to use templates for scheduling. It's great if the staff is younger and tech savvy. If your staff is allowed to trade shifts and does not work set schedules, this is a great compa...

HotSchedules is great for restaurants because there is so much change and [so many] exchanges within the schedule each week. You can add employees mid schedule or terminate them etc. May not be appropriate if you have a lot of last minute labor - like on call shifts. I currently have a "work arou...

If you're managing a large schedule, you have multiple tools and indicators on a template to manage that schedule. Icons show hours for the week as well as predicted and wages for the week. The amount of reporting feels a little bulky, too many reports that make it difficult to find what you're l...

HotSchedules frees up our managers to do the job of managing instead of spending hours working on a schedule. Each restaurant has well over 100 employees and it took hours before HotSchedules, now it can be done in less than 2 hours.
