Overall Satisfaction with Sage HRMS

Sage HRMS is our central database for our human resource management. Access is granted to human resource team members, and members of executive leadership. We use it as a central database for employee records, but it is also used for performing audits on state licenses for our employees, employment verification, employment agreements, and all other important information used by the enterprise. It was my duty to transmit all hard copy and any stray digital personnel records into Sage HRMS. The only downfall is not being able to upload digital copies in groups - each document must be uploaded individually, causing the process to be very time consuming. Otherwise, it was and is a very useful product.

Prior to implementing Sage HRMS, our organization was much smaller and split into two separate companies. The smaller of the companies used a similar product called "FileBound" that served at the business' human resource management software. It was much like Sage HRMS, but without as many features or abilities. I was only on FileBound to retrieve old files, so I did not get to experience it in-depth, but from what I did experience, Sage HRMS was superior. The other company, which was significantly larger, used paper records that was not eco-friendly and it was very time consuming. They had a physical file room where the records were kept, and retrieval took a lot of work.
I do not work with this software anymore, and I am not involved with the renewal of it. However, if I were, I would still suggest using it unless something better was introduced.
I believe it is only well-suited for larger companies if there are several people maintaining the records, which includes the initial implementation of the product - i.e. uploading the documents into Sage. I also believe each new user should be granted sufficient education in Sage, but this may vary from organization to organization. Crashes are common especially if the system is not updated frequently and file uploads are happening simultaneously.
