Overall Satisfaction with Winshuttle

Winshuttle was a tool available to Rockwell Collins employees as a part of working with SAP for updating large volumes of data. I am uncertain if others in the company currently use this tool. For me, it allowed me to create 'macros' to import large warranty aircraft equipment updates versus the previous way of data entry.

  • One of the big issues that I found about the program was that it was not easy to decipher how to create macros with out some technical background for both Winshuttle and SAP.
  • Increased Employee Efficiency
  • Better Customer Service
  • Greater Self satisfaction in the job that was being done
This was the solution that was available to me from the company.
I think it is a must have for any user that deals with major amounts of data in SAP. There are many uses for Winshuttle these would be the two that I have the most experience with.
I was thrilled with the fact that I could take my position up a notch to a type of automation versus hand entry of the data into SAP. It worked so well that about the same time I was moving onto another position the group began to use it to import large batches of claims.
