Overall Satisfaction with SAP Lumira

Everyone has data, and spreadsheets have been around forever. More and more, clients are becoming more accustom to viewing information, whether professionally pertinent to their business or in journalism, in visual representations. Lumira is a step in that direction that helps our organization to bridge the gap between piles of data, and visual representations of that data which are more engaging, easier to digest and often times reveal relationships that were not as readily apparent otherwise.
  • Take large swaths of raw information and turn it into something approachable and relatable.
  • Minimize the role of IT departments being necessary for tasks that are better left to account managers, project managers and marketers as well as business owners.
  • While there is a cost involved, it is affordable and the return on investment is high.
  • Even though the process of creating visualizations of data is now greatly improved, it could still be a lot better as users become accustomed to this kind of tool and bring forward edge cases the developers did not anticipate.
  • It would be awesome to have a cross platform tool that works on more than just Windows.
  • Some options for specific graphs feel limiting.
Lumira is more powerful in some ways but also slightly more limited in others. While at least in my experience Lumira can feel somewhat cookie cutter in the options you have, overall you are able to get a better sense of understanding of the current state of things using Lumira. However, each business is different and you should really consider all your options.
Lumira is especially well suited where you want to customize and create tailored benchmarks for different segments of your business. Whether that means making information available to department heads, directors or even account directors and managers.

What really is valuable is the confidence you have when using the dashboards for decision making and monitoring the success of those decisions in a tailored manner.

Using SAP Lumira

5 - Developers, account managers and product specialists rely upon SAP to complete their job functions and meet client expectations. Whether it is creating, combining, or delivering custom reports, the range of people in our organization that implement this solution is very diverse as it can be applied to legacy as well as new solutions.
2 - Lumira doesn't require an extensive skill set to support on a day to day basis. Often times, cursory glances through the documentation is all that is required to maintain even the more complicated implementations that we have produced. Of course it depends on your specific use case, and we do have experts at our disposal if needed.
