Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We recommend the best tool for each customer, be it Power BI, Tableau or SAP Lumira. It depends on what kind of data source they have, available licences etc.

Pros and Cons

Working with files (CSV, Excel).
Ease of use, easy to start.
Quick start videos are really helpful.

Connecting to Micrsoft SQL Server requires JDBC drivers and add many steps.
A cheaper web portal should be available.

Alternatives Considered

Power BI, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Online and Tableau Public

- Power BI has more features (like ETL) and more integration. Power BI Desktop is free.

- Tableau has better visual and better interactivity. Tableau is expensive.

- SAP Lumira is affordable as long as you don't need the Web Portal.

Likelihood to Recommend

[It's well suited] if the customer is already using SAP server products or most the data is available in files. It is less of a good fit if the customer uses Microsoft databases.
