Overall Satisfaction with Breezy HR

We use Breezy HR for our organization, which is quite small. Our main use case is to use it to syndicate our job postings out to dozens of different job boards from one place, and it does this very well. We were originally trying to cobble together various job sites, but Breezy is way easier to do it from one place. We also use it sometimes for managing the interview process because they have a super intuitive Kanban flow which I wish more tools used!
  • The Kanban flow for the interview process is extremely well done and useful.
  • They have a lot of features but give you control over setting up processes and using what you want to use.
  • Their rejection option and the email/chat to the candidate feature is extremely easy because you can reject or ask questions right through the Breezy App.
  • They have nice design! They are regularly updating it to add features, and we've never experienced things not really working as they should.
  • They have a really simple code snippet to embed your own careers page in your website, worked wonderfully.
  • Their Slack integration is awesome!
  • The cons are that it is a rather lightweight tool. I would call it an ATS lite. While syndicating jobs out through it is nice, once you're past the interview process it's just not a great tool for organizing and finding candidates from the past.
  • Another con is their pricing - We have started transitioning over to Google Hire because there isn't any stipulation about how many jobs you have posted. If you go over 7 jobs, this costs you $149/month - whereas Google Hire is $100/month for unlimited jobs. This pricing seems to be based on the feature of syndicating your job postings instead of using the software as an ATS.
  • No native integrations to SFDC or other CRMs.
  • This one is hard to say - with the job board syndication, it's awesome to be able to get a lot of candidates at once. We have found I think one of our best candidates through there, and that already paid for the year of Breezy HR and more.
  • At the same time, by syndicating out to a lot of job boards - we also got a lot of terrible candidates. That's not Breezy's fault, that's just the nature of mass job boards. Breezy at times turned into a time suck sorting through hundreds of crappy resumes, so at some point we de-prioritized it because it was taking time from our active searches.
  • The ability to send rejections quickly through the app though did everything it could do in order to save us time searching through applicants. Ultimately due to the amount of money we made off of just once candidate, it was still worth it!
I selected Breezy HR over Workable simply because it does the same thing but it is a better price. Workable initially had better looking software, but I feel like Breezy has really worked to close the gap. Workable also didn't have the Kanban board when I tested them awhile back, and I think that might be the best feature of breezy HR.

We actually have recently chosen to move onto Google Hire, mostly because $100/month gets us unlimited job postings, and because Google Hire is heavily integrated into the Google Services we use every day.
I think Breezy HR is really well suited for an internal hiring team that is looking for an affordable way to get good software to manage their hiring process. In particular, I think it's better for small teams due to the jobs-based pricing and the lack of integrations to large CRMS. For a team that's looking to work together (they have comments and feedback options), use nice looking and efficient software, and loves the idea of visualizing your hiring pipeline in a Kanban board - this is perfect! Their pricing beats out their competition, and they are a very responsive and helpful team when you need them.
