Overall Satisfaction with Meltwater Media Intelligence Platform

Meltwater has been very helpful in catching social posts that mention our brand. Most of them may have included our name misspelled or not tagged properly. This has helped stay ahead of the curve for good and bad exposure.

The only other monitoring services I have used live within social media channels including Facebook analytics, Twitter analytics and Instagram analytics. I also use Hootsuite to manage and monitor all social channels almost exclusively. These are simple programs, that can be offered free, to show when people have used your names. However, they do leave a lot of gaps if tags or names are misspelled. Meltwater has helped fill in that gap.
I think pricing is a little high for most companies but the options for monitoring both social and media channels is great. Adding pieces onto your package is simple but it does come with a cost. Meltwater was great at building a package for everything but it is still generally the most expensive company on the market for monitoring.
