Overall Satisfaction with ProjectLibre

I use ProjectLibre personally and professionally to create Gantt charts because it's only needed occasionally, and there is no license needed for Microsoft Project.
  • Gantt chart
  • Hierarchical organization of projects and tasks
  • Descriptive fields for each line item
  • An hourly timeline would enable minute-by-minute coordination of a same-day event.
  • Printing abilities could be improved, especially with the Gantt chart.
  • No investment made, besides time, but definitely worthwhile in using it.
I was looking for something free, and ProjectLibre met my needs. I had used another Gantt program, but it was discontinued. TeamGantt has also been introduced, and I tried it but came back to ProjectLibre because of familiarity.
Small projects and small teams would benefit from having the opportunity to create Gantt charts and use this as a low/no cost project management application. In companies with lots of Microsoft products, MS Project integration may be preferred.
