Overall Satisfaction with Veelo

Veelo is being used as a digital learning solution for our various sales teams; as far as I am aware, no other departments use it. The org. puts content into Veelo and sends them out to sales employees to review and learn from. It is helping Puppet solve the issue of providing tailored sales training to its various sales professionals across different territories.
  • Content Management
  • Digital learning
  • Sales enablement - reducing friction in the training process/sales cycle
  • Does not work well for individuals that are hands on/kinesthetic learners
  • The quizzes at the end of each section are troublesome and can repeat the same info
  • Sometimes notifications for due dates are not sent out in regard to assigned training sessions
  • Has helped several people learn about our company and products faster.
  • Reduced training resources and training expense
  • It has negatively affected how much hands on training people need - Veelo subsitutes that in many managers' minds
I haven't really used a digital training platform before other than Veelo. I put down ClearSlide simply since we use it as a content manager. It is not used to train, but rather share information and templates across many departments and people. However, Veelo is better at storing content. It can be displayed in several formats, while ClearSlide only let us store email templates.
I wouldn't recommend this to people as a replacement for training. We currently use the solution to "supplement" our training efforts, but often it is used to replace formal training. Hands on training is always better in my opinion, especially when on-boarding new employees. However, if someone is more inclined to learn in a visual/auditory way, this solution may work better for them.
