Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

I am using Raiser's Edge NXT to access donor information and history, find prospective donors and manage data in general. The entire organization is moving use of NXT in this way. NXT allows access to donor information anywhere via their secure website. It can be accessed on a laptop or phone allowing the fundraiser to see his or her donor's giving history, biographical information, and an easy way to enter visit notes immediately following the visit.
  • Ease of access to donor information.
  • Ability to run lists to sort prospects.
  • It's easy to use on a mobile device.
  • It should allow more access to enter or change donor records, and more features closer to Raiser's Edge.
  • Ability to run a query in NXT.
  • Ability to globally change records.
  • NXT has allowed us to manage donors and prospects.
  • It helps us find major gift prospects in our own data.
I have exclusively used Raiser's Edge and NXT since 1997.
The program is very well suited to fundraisers in the field. It is great when making calls on donors-- the programs allows easy access to donor information, will give you directions to a prospect's house, and it is easy to enter notes and create further actions when the visit is over. I prefer to use Raiser's Edge when in the office, as there are more features available in the "regular" version.
